Hotel Monte Hermana Sendai

Convenient location and spacious room, very friendly staffs

Perfect location, only a few minutes away from the west exit of Sendai station. Surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, etc. The rooms were good: comfortable beds and clean. The onsen is great to warm up after a cold day.

This was our first time to stay at Monte Hermana Sendai and, looking back, we are so happy we chose this over the others. The main reason we chose this was its proximity to Sendai Station and boy did it not disappoint! The hotel is just a short walk away from the station's west exit, which is a godsend for those lugging around heavy bags. It is also close to the Parco and AER buildings, if you don't want to go far to shop. A convenience store and the shopping street are also accessible via that same pedestrian walkway.The room was clean and slightly bigger than your usual business hotel. We had no problems opening our bags and moving around. The same is true for the bathroom. We'd like to also thank the staff for giving us a room with an terrific view!Speaking of the hotel staff, they were also part of what makes the hotel special as they attended to our every need: letting us know the moment a package we ordered from Amazon Japan arrives, showing us where the closest Yosakoi festival was, and even helping us find a hospital for our kid who suddenly had a fever late at night (he was back to normal two days later). They would also warmly greet us each time we'd exit the elevator and enter the lobby. And finally, they are able to communicate in English.We are definitely staying here again in the future!

Large space for a single room; location

Very close to station. All the way walk to hotel on flyover. Hotel reception is on 1st floor, rooms are from 9 to 14th floor. A small onsen on 9th for guest use. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choices.

Our room was in the 11th floor, it´s a tall building and the view was nice. The room and the bed were not that big but it was okay. The breakfast was optional and it had a good variety of available foods. Check-in and check-out was quick. Everyone gets one welcome drink which is nice. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel Monte Hermana Sendai is in an excellent location, close to Sendai station and connected directly by the walking platform accessible at level 2 of the station (meaning exit the station at level two and go to your right, pass the AER building, keep stand on the platform and you'll reach the hotel directly at floor 2 where the reception in located).This area also has multiple shipping centers, an arcade street and lots of shops and restaurants and cafes.Room is nice, the hotel has a bath on floor 9th and washing machines and dryers as well. You can also monitor if they are free or busy using the TV on the room, which is pretty cool.Breakfast is buffet style with a nice but not huge selection.Staff is polite as always in Japan.

The location is super close to the Sendai JR station. Breakfast offers lots of choice and food. Staff are nice.

The price is comparatively high

It's really misleading when we use google map for the direction to the hotel.

The location is good nest to JR station and many shopping areas. The hot bath was not too bad.

The room was quite small. The bed was not very comfortable. The car park was closed on 30 Dec but we were not bring informed by the front desk staff upon checked in. They directed us to another car parking areas around 10-15 mins walk from the hotel. It was winter and we chose to park at the nearby paid car parking instead of the place they offered us as we were checking out the next day. It would bd good if the hotel staff could let us know early that the car parking will be closed on 30 Dec as they knew we will be there for four nights.

Right next to the station! You can enter the hotel building through the 2nd floor walkways attached to the station itself. The location is great, the staff are super friendly and warm. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was also a public bath, which felt nice after a long cold day.

Could have used a more comfortable chair or small sofa instead of the existing one. Room could be brighten a bit it seemed rather gloomy.

I got nothing

Good location close to the station with an elevated walkway in between allowing you to walk above the roads without stopping for walking traffic lights. There are a lot of great restaurants within easy walking distance. There was a welcome drink available and daily icecreams outside the sento hot bath. The nearby trainstation allows you to travel easily to locations along the trainline and there are also nearby car rental places to easily travel to destinations not close to the trainline. There is also coffee and juices available for free next to reception. We enjoyed our stay, thankyou!

The only thing I can think of is that I would like a daily welcome drink haha
