Mitsui Garden Hotel Sendai

The Mitsui Garden Hotel was booked for my partner and her mum during their time in Sendai, Japan. The onsen was a great bonus, which they both really enjoyed. The included breakfast was yummy, and the staff were friendly. The hotel room was very comfortable, with a large window offering lots of natural light and really comfortable beds. Highly recommended when visiting Sendai.

Nothing was disliked about this hotel, and my partner and her mum said they would be happy to stay there again.

About breakfast: it was optional. A Little expensive for those could afford it, but entirely avoidable for those who could not.

We were a group with a group booking but you could not provide a single official receipt for the group booking.

Very well kept and well designed. I loved the scented elevator at the entrance - very relaxing!

We only got to stay there two nights! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Building very new and clean. Staff very attentive.

New, good decorated. Everything is comfortable. Large bathroom. Good toiletries. Nice public bath on the 18th floor. Staff is helpful and service minded.

Room is pretty small for 3 beds. No space to open the suitcase.

Great value for money. It is a very new hotel and you can tell by how well designed and clean it is. It also has a convenient location. Easy check-in and good service by the staff.

The bar/restaurant next to the reception is not a part of the hotel. It has a table charge which they don't inform you about beforehand. It also closes quite early.

The hotel was clean and perfect location for a family trip. The hotel also has onsen.

The room is a standard Japanese hotel size, it was quite small compared to the pictures on website. Good for two but definitely tight for three people.

Great location, the room is spacious and I really liked the contemporary design.

Only central heating in the room, which is way too hot for me.Also I think the staff need to have more training in English to they can assist foreign travellers.

Great hotel in the centre of Sendai. Small rooms (as expected in Japan) but clean and comfortable.

Room was a good size, great facilities and excellent service from staff.Pretty close to public transport and restaurants. Short walk from the .Ain train station.

Very good location. Around 3-5 mins to the centre & 10ish minutes to Sendai station. 2 mins walk to bus stop & subway station. Few convenient stores around.Very clean & modern hotel, nice and helpful staff. Helped us in making a reservation at a restaurant, thank you! Room window can be opened hence we got fresh air. They have various room types and sizes - feel free to choose according to your need.They are environmental friendly - amenities are free for us to take based on our needs & they don’t change our bed sheets everyday unless we really need to.

Welcoming support staff who did all to make our stay pleasant. impressive breakfast spread in a charming environment. Good spa.

The staff was super nice from the. Reception to the cleaners so lovely. It was very clean and the view from the panoramic window was fantastic. Especially at night. There was fresh bottled water every day. The location was also great, it was a 10-15 minute walk to Sendai station and a 5 minute walk to the shopping street. It was just a bit small with 2 large suitcases.But otherwise everything was very good. There were many restaurants within easy reach. We can highly recommend it.
