Dormy Inn Sendai Station Natural Hot Springs

The room was quiet so i could sleep well. Love the public bath and sauna.

Friendly staff, good room, very nice mattress, great public natural onsen bath, good location.

The Onsen was quite nice, and there is free ice cream, probiotic drink and Ramen (depending on the time of the day). Breakfast: It was my first Japanese breakfast, and it seemed pretty extensive to me. There was also a section with fruits, Yoghurt and some baked goods.

There was a little noise from the street, but that did not disturb me much.

Convenient location to the train station, I was able to use the elevated walkways to avoid all but one road crossing. Staff were very helpful and understanding of my limited language knowledge. Room was quiet. Mattress was comfortable. Nice parks nearby.

Pillow was thin and no extra that I could see to compensate, thankfully I had something I could use myself. Duvet and filling must have been all polyester, felt light but woke up feeling overheated, I had to buy my own breathable sheet to use overnight (common problem in Japan in my experience).

Convenient location, short walk to station and plenty of places to eat close by. I like Dormy Inn because they have a spa on top floor.

Room was smallest have seen in a Dormy Inn but it was fine for 2 nights stay. Would recommend a larger room if staying longer

Has a good Dormy hôtel onsen and is near the Sendai station which has Shinkansen and JR lines

It was close to the train station, just a few minutes walk. The room thought small was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The natural hot spring was good.

Go to the other Dormy inns nearby.

The night staff was very rude when we checked into the hotel. The room was falling apart. Ripped wallpaper, hole in the outer wall with some sort of fuzzy cotton candy-like insulation that looked like a quick patch to close the hole. The floors were sticky. Breakfast was not included. The spa had mold around onsen and smelled terrible. This is the first time I didn't want to stay in the spa.

Good breakfast with a Today's special. Open bath on the rooftop. Good aeration in public space to combat COVID. Pleasant and friendly staff.

The whole facility is a bit ageing, especially in the Men's bath. Renovation was ongoing for the outside at the time of the visit.

Marvellous OPEN-AIR ROOFTOP BATH. Comfy beds and pillows. Why are so many reviewers complaining about the bedding? Large room. Some of you people want LARGE ROOMS - PAY MORE!I will stay here again.

All the staff were very friendly and check-in and check-out were very quick. The hot springs were incredible for relaxing and I enjoyed the ice poles afterwards. The welcome coffee and late night soba noodles were a great addition too. The hotel was very conveniently located for amenities, train and subway lines.

While the bed was comfortable it was a little small. As I was traveling on my own it wasn't an issue but if two people had to sleep together it would have been a tight fit.

We did not have breakfast, they told me they weren’t doing breakfast when I checked in. They charged us to park in their lot.

Nothing really to note. Have stayed at dormy inn before and it’s a standard budget hotel chain in Japan. Good location about 5-10 min walk from station.

Nothing especially bad. Room decor isn’t much to get you excited by.

Less than 10 mins from the Sendai train station and main shopping area. Rooftop onsen is spacious and clean. Free mini soba noodle every night, free popsicles outside the onsen at night and free yogurt drink in the morning. I must have asked for a quiet room, because they gave me a room right at the end and away from the street so I was able to enjoy a good night's sleep.

The resting room outside the onsen also shared a space with the smoking room, which makes it uncomfortable for non smokers to enjoy. Free Wifi becomes unstable at night when everyone is using it.
