The location is very nice and the hotel staffs are very friendly and also accommodating. The Rooms are very comfy and gives a traditional kerala vibe.

Nice and peaceful stay at River Retreat. Loved the riverside view and calm atmosphere. Clean rooms, good food, and friendly staff. Perfect for a relaxing break.

Good place to stay. Spacious and well kept room. Staff too good and attends to guests needs immediately. Lot of greenery around and river abutting the property makes it scenic

Location is very good, it is real River Retreat.Food is also very good with fair price. Room is spacious and it will give you a Ethnic ancient kerala culture glimpses. ?

I have been staying in this property for a while. It is very convenient and clean. Good attitude from staff, tasty food and flexible

No hot water

The location is pretty good. Room also set nicely. Quick service at the reception

Bathroom needs remodeling. Looks very old.

Good size room, clean, heritage

1 AC did not work throughout the stay and the staff did nothing about it. Weather was not too bad but the attitude deserves an upgrade

This hotel is no where close to 4 star standards ; has only facilities similar to a local lodge. Rooms are dirty and dus

Location … on the banks of Nila

Dining facility is not upto mark.. semi open facility would help dine enjoy with nature, river etc.. I believe liquor also will be served outside..

Beautiful location, excellent food, very friendly staff and super relaxing Ayuervidic massage.

The massage area and especially the steam cabin could have been a bit more hygienic.

The location

Room bed tv door

Great location and property , the kid's play area was big and spacious. Food was good, and staff very courteous.

there were bugs in the room, probably from the river nearby. Pest control could be improved.

Customer Service was Rude at the Restaurant, Room Lighting was not enough, AC Condition was poor and Remote also was not working

beautifully situated hotel, extremely friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful infinity pool, great Ayurvedic treatments and good restaurant. very large and spacious room with good a/c and very nice bathroom

Ambience... Had a feel of living in greens ☺️

The extra matresses were kept in open outside the room... The wooden railings outside were short and was with gap... So was afraid for the safety of my infant and toddler..

Dining arrangements could be better

This is an heritage building, so the style was such that not much natural light entered the first room they gave us on the ground floor (We are senior citizens). But they immediately shifted us to a room upstairs, so we could open the curtains and let in the sun. The rooms were huge and airy, and the furniture very comfortable.

Room service was quite lacking. I asked for a plate and knife to cut some fruit, and it just never arrived. Similarly, the next night, after dinner, my husband ordered some dessert - and after waiting over an hour, finally went and brushed his teeth. And then they brought it. This could definitely improve.

Location, building

Food was below standard. Booking.com customers are given worse rooms. As they come via website.

Good onsite restaurant with nice views

The room was with mosquitoes. The fan only worked in full speed. The towels were worn off. The shower had no hot water in the morning. Had to take cold bath

Clean calm cool less populated, no pollution... only thing gardening should be much more concentrated... awesome front desk, restaurant, House keeping and security staffs.... no restrictions... no too much irritations... love to visit again

Everything was good... the website should be made much more easier and comfortable... I could not gain adequate details and I ended up booking something else... seriously would love to visit again
