The size of the room was pretty good.

However I didn't like the location of the room. And the shower head and the faucet in the bathroom were either rusted or covered in limescale, which either way gave a very uncomfortable feeling.

Krishnavalsam Regency is one of the decent hotels situated within walkable distance of well-known Sree Guruvayurappan temple. It is situated in the inner ring road and facing the North Nada of the Guruvayurappan temple.The hotel has a very clean atmosphere with sufficient parking facilities. The reception area of the hotel is spacious with enough sofas for waiting purposes. The interior décor was pleasant. The reception staff on duty extended a good hospitality to us during our entire stay. We were allotted a room in the second floor. The room was large and neat. The bath area was large enough and very clean.The linens, toiletries supplied were clean and apt.The tea/coffee making materials were up to the mark.The room had a good view from the window.There is a vegetarian restaurant in the ground floor adjacent to the reception area.The food supplied here were of good quality & tasty.However, the seating capacity in this restaurant is very limited. Many a times we had to wait for considerable time.The great advantage in the hotel was that you have to just walk out of the hotel, cross over to the lane opposite and walk a couple of minutes to reach the temple pond and the great east nada of Sree Guruvayurappan temple. We can reach the temple whenever we feel like visiting the temple. The Mummiyur temple is also within 500m of the location this hotel.This hotel is well suited for pilgrims visiting Sree Guruvayurappan Temple.In short, this hotel is good for families with the intention of visiting Guruvayurappan temple because of its proximity to the temple.

Though we had a pleasant & comfortable stay here we also had a couple of bitter experiences to mention here: 1.The telephone provided inside the room was not art all working during our entire stay. This crated problems in reaching the reception, restaurants, house keeping etc for any assistances. Every time we had to climb down and do things. Both os us being senior citizens we had great difficulty because of this. Complaints made to the reception in this regard did not yield any result. 2.Frequent power failures were experienced during our stay. These shutdowns extended to more than two hours every time. Since our room was in the upper floor we could not climb up/down during this shut down as there is no standby power supply arrangement in this hotel.

Very close to the temple. Rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean. Staff was very supportive and accommodating. There’s a restaurant within the hotel itself which is also nice.

The location was very near to the temple, the room is clean and provided an additional bed.

I don't feel that the breakfast is worth the money we paid.

It’s close to the temple. Just a few steps away so it’s easily accessible to the temple. The rooms were also clean and well maintained. The staffs were also courteous and very hospitable. The breakfast options were good.

We were a family of 4, so the toiletries provided was just for two people. Even though the food options were many the taste was kinda average and didn’t have the authentic Kerala food taste. These aren’t major drawbacks. But can be improved.

Location was really convenient. Just outside one of the side entrance to the temple

Cleanliness was not too good. When we checked in we found that the bedsheets were not changed after the previous visitor. Sheets were stained and we found strands of hair on the sheet. We called the housekeeper who replaced the sheets. The bathroom was very slippery with oil.

Decent property compared to few others in the vicinity. Spacious and close to what it looks ok the pictures on the website. Overall good place for booking a short visit.

Invoicing part was not comfortable at all. I specifically asked to deduct the payment from my stored credit card and it was acknowledged by the hotel also. But, it wasn’t delivered and my parents were questioned during check out to pay due to their inefficiency in handling online payments and I had find alternative options to pay them using UPI which was not seamless being an NRI even after speaking to the concerned personnel to deduct from my authorized card.

Location was absolutely central. There was always electricity backup, so we didn’t face any power outages. Staff were friendly and supportive Rooms were spacious and comfortable

Booked on booking.com under the ‘Cancellation free till 3 days before check in’, however right after booking I was contacted by the property asking me to make an advance payment immediately in order to secure the booking else it would be released (this was over a month before my travel). The food was hygienic but below satisfactory in taste.

Restaurant food could provide better value for money

The room was big enough for us and the beds were comfortable. The room ambience and bathroom facilities were good. Staff were helpful and the check-in process was quick. Location was very convenient.

Overall, very good! Perfect location, quiet and clean all around and can reach the temple in mere seconds. The staff were all very nice, and food in the restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast especially was really good value for money. Will be sure to stay again!

1. It's a little on the pricier side, especially for the larger rooms2. Beds were a little too firm and mattresses were unshapen3. They asked for a security deposit, from an unknown whatsapp number. Given the number of scams right now, it's a little risky, and they don't have a direct hotel contact number - need to fix this

Located closer to the temple and walkable, Ok with neatness. AC system worked fine. Staff interaction was good.

I booked an executive room. When the term executive, I expected specialized rooms that are designed to cater to the needs of customer, offering a unique blend of luxury, convenience, and productivity-enhancing amenities. But unfortunately, they denied us complimentary breakfast and had to pay extra for breakfast. Toilet facilities - no toilet papers, no hand towel. Doorknob did not work from inside. Restaurant did not answer my phone call.

This is my second time here with family. Location is the best, very close to temple. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not that great and items were almost empty by 9.15 am. Probably something to improve.

We had booked the room through Booking.com and received confirmation. Additionally, we received a message from the hotel confirming parking availability, along with the location map. The hotel even called to inquire about our expected arrival time. However, when we arrived at the hotel around 7 PM, we were informed that they had not received any booking from Booking.com and that no rooms were available. This unexpected situation took us by surprise. The attitude of the hotel staff was unsupportive and overly arrogant, which added to our frustration. We contacted the Booking.com helpline, but unfortunately, no assistance was provided. After wasting two hours dealing with this issue, we had to find another hotel and finally checked in there. As a result of this turmoil, we missed our planned temple visit that evening.

Food was not up to expectation . Cleaning could have been better . There was a musty smell . Room size is very good . Location near the temple is good but accessibility to the hotel itself is not great .
