The Vaishvik

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vaishwik during our recent Yatra. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist and provide information whenever needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference.The hotel is conveniently located, making it an ideal base for the Vaishno Devi Yatra. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.Overall, a great experience — highly recommended for anyone visiting Katra for the Yatra.

Rooms we took 2 but rooms are not uniform of same category...some has wardrobe and others no ...and food ordered was not available...to be professional the place required some time..but everyone behaviour was good ...but something is missing..

Absolutely fantastic staff and good rooms. Chai and food was excellent & decent distance to Jammu

We order breakfast in room , it was served hot and promptly.

Good location, proximity to market and darshan ticket booking counter. Geyser worked throughout the stay. Property is clean and maintained well externally and corridors.

Room rent was very high for the facilities provided. Room size is average. Towels, bed sheets and blanket provided were not that clean as expected for the price paid. Dirty, strained and even with holes.

Location is just 1.1 Km from Ban Ganga. On site parking available. 24 Hrs Hot Water. Rooms are fairly spacious. Staff extremely courteous. Special mention of Pawan Sharma who was very helpful.

There is no restaurant in the hotel. However there is a kitchen which provides room service.

Staff was great and very helpful. Sorry, I forgot his name, but he was above and beyond helping us out. He walked us to the place for ticket darshan, got us rickshaw. Helped us during our stay. Thank you.

The sheets were not super clean, stained. They really didn't have much option on clean sheets.

Everything was super from location to food and supportive staff..

It provided a good value for money. The property was clean, general manager and the other staff were nice, food was good.

Cleanliness, location

Staff cooperation. I initially booked for 3 nights but had to check-out 1 day early due to unforeseen circumstances. Informed the Hotel in advance but they rudely refused to alter my reservation. Called booking.com for assistance and they agreed for alteration but when booking.com called and emailed the Hotel manager, they did not respond. The call was ringing right in front of me but they ignored. Booking.com sent an email that they will not charge the Hotel for 3 nights if they alter my reservation but the Hotel staff did not acknowledge. i had to pay 6k INR extra. This is very bad. I lost my money. Hotels should at least decide some middle point and not just firmly stick to the rules in case of emergency.

Rooms were good, location was good.

Attitude of staff was not good, lift was not working, they did not clear the room the next day, key was not working.

Other occupants keep disturbing with their children in alleyway, and no action from hotel. Also PLZ change your pillows. They are hypothetical. No body in home have those type of pillows which you are offering

Missing professionalim, Don't often refill basics needs things , like sugar and tea bags , water was not given timely. unprofessional on breakfast and don't have anything decent on breakfast , don't have a restaurant , need to order in room only all the time
