Holiday Inn Katra Vaishno Devi By IHG

The staff at this hotel have been outstanding. My stay was made extremely enjoyable and comfortable by staff's initiatives as he even booked my onward journey bus ticket using his own bank account and later kept checking if everything was going OK. Thanks

Location was good 10 min drive to the main market. Pick up drop service was great

F&B Operations needs to be looked at including the IRD. When they get busy they stop picking up the phone. When ask why no one is picking up the phone the message is its busy hence.

Breakfast was decent

Both rooms had A/C problem and not cooling rooms below 26deg celcius.Basic things were missing in toilet and had to be asked.Staff didn't help in getting a room at higher floor inspite of asking for it. Reception staff wasn't helpful at all.

near railway station

staff's attitude was very cold. all questions were answered in monotonous tones. before travel, I mailed the property asking some questions which was never answered. the room view was railway station view, although supposedly I was in premium room. they have no mountain view room in premium category. nothing to do anything on property as there is no lawn or any such thing.

The hotel is very good. The service is high-quality, everything is clean and comfortable. Good, caring and responsive staff. Only the view from our room was on the railway station, we did not like it very much, it would have been nicer to have a room with a view of the Vaishno Devi Temple. We did not ask to change the room, since we came to go through the Yatra, and not to look at the view from the window. But if someone really cares about the view from the window, then of course a room with a view of the mountain and the Temple is better.

Excellent location. We literally stepped out of the railway station and walked to the hotel with suitcases. It's that close to Katra station. The staff is very courteous. Great service. GM Mr Gaurav Sharma personally met us. Receptionist Ankit was great. Stewardess Upasana was very good at the job. Food was excellent. Pure veg, considering it's a holy place. There were also many satvik options in the menu. Overall this is a great place. Highly recommended.

Very good location,just 100 metres from railway station and a very cosy stay. Staff was also very good.

Breakfast had limited options. Even the things mentioned in menu were not available in buffet

Requested extra blanket/comforter by calling room service twice but it was not provided.Requested for luggage trolley but it came very late

Location and friendly supportive staff

At breakfast almost you had kept the same food, you need to add more verity and keep changing every day.

Very efficient and friendly staff . Quick to respond any query.

Could have provided more facility to cater the tourists such as Vaishno Devi related facility to provide transportation to and from Ban ganga, helicopter/ battery car booking etc or package tours around Jammu.

Staff was very courteous

There were sign of seepage in my room's wall and most of the hotels are providing pick up and drop to Banganga free but its chargeable at your property.

The hotel is located near Katra railway station. The staff was very supportive and helpful. The food served was good. I will consider staying again if I visit Katra in future.

This was my first experience with Holiday inn and it was fantastic since it was clean and near the railway station. Just 3min walk-in to railway station and 5min drive to katra bus stand. You can see the view of adhkuwari from the hotel.Staff was very helpful and breakfast was too good

In the bathroom the bodywash is mixed with some Detergent it need to be Improve I got allergy

Actually in my room, the WC sheet in open condition covers the push buttons given to operate the flush. So to operate the flush, first WC sheet cover has to lower down and then the flush could be operated. This aspect may be looked in to
