City Place

Good location, provide free parking, clean, spacious

The pillow is too soft

Great location and friendly staff.

I was not able to completely turn off the AC and the room got a little too cold. The only thing I could do was to reduce the fan speed. Not sure if the issue is specific to my room.

great staff. there was a city power outage when I had to check out and they carried my luggage down 7 floors!

Fantastic staff, clean room, great shower and bathroom, coffee and tea available

Great amenities in the room. Very friendly staff. Large shower. Comfortable bed.

Parking is limited and very small to get into, especially with an SUV (need to be guided in).

Helpful staff. Comfy room. Spacious bathroom.

Large and comfy bedroom with excellent air con during our hot stay in Tainan! Room facilities were great and there was an excellent shower room. Would highly recommend. Was able to store our cycles in the lobby area.

Central location, lots of food options around, friendly staff

We stayed in four different hotels during our trip to Taiwan, and in terms of comfort, guest-friendly design, and overall ergonomics—how every little detail is thought out and how the room itself is arranged—this hotel stood out. Everything is designed for convenience, making the stay exceptionally comfortable. It just feels... right. Plus, the location is great.

Nice spacious clean room. Great location .

Great location and great staff that were super friendly and went above and beyond. Great lobby area for chilling and waiting.

The room’a not big so not much place to move around.

Cathy and the rest of the personnel at City Place, did everything they could to make us feel welcome and help us out. And always with a smile!City place is conveniently located and the rooms are nice. There is free coffee and tea in the reception. I highly recommend this hotel. Great value for the price.

- nice renovated room- good location - parking available - friendly staff

- no windows in the room

Conveniently located and has parking available for guests

Looks like it needs and update as it looks dirty

The hotel is ideally located has excellent rooms and is very clean and well presented. The staff are first rate always polite, with a cheery smile and couldn’t have done more for us

Very friendly and helpful multilingual staff who made sure we were well taken care of. They stored our luggage (early arrival) and encouraged us to take advantage of the guest lounge with coffee and tea even before our room was ready. While we didn't use the offer they also wanted to make sure we would be okay getting a taxi back to the train station. The room was thoughtfully laid out with all the lighting you needed (we had a hard time finding the switches at first, at least in our room many of them are in recesses above the bed). The location not far from the station and Chihkan Tower was really very convenient for reaching central Tainan's sights on foot.Travelers accustomed to using a room safe for laptops should note that the safe is probably too small for that, and rooms can get a little stuffy without a fan in humid weather (this is noticeable upon returning because electricity only works with a key card, but the AC is very efficient and solves it in just a few minutes).

Travelers who prefer softer mattresses (like my brother-in-law) may need a bit more padding, though I personally had no problems. Some rooms are a bit darker due to smaller windows and room layout, but this is expected in a central area of a dense city.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Great location for food and shopping.

The hot water is inconsistent.

We checked out at 12:00pm which was an hour late. They charged us one hour late check-out fine for 3 times higher than the hourly rate of the room. Such notice was not informed in advance. Which was really disappointing.

Clean, comfortable modern room, comfortable pillows and bed, very nice ambience and lighting, nice lounge with free coffee and drinks, nice amenities.

Would be perfect if some baked goods are provided for breakfast. Our room has no window.

The Comfort of the room was very high and the staff was really nice. Missing utensils were offered for free at the reception.

The Parking is very tight and there is not much room for cars.
