Floor could be newer and cleaner.
Its really close to the train station and allows the transit (via the nonhsr ) to lots of destinations. The staff was helpful and helped us with a bus issue by calling the bus company. The hotel was clean and had good upkeep.

We were glad that we booked a suite, well laid out. My son and I enjoyed our Christmas Eve there.
Charged too high for a hotel with limited facilities - too noising facing the street, luckily the windows seem to be sound proof to a large degree, but we could not open windows for fresh air or the street traffic can be deafening…

Walking distance from train station to hotel is not easy! There is no cross walk!! It took us 30 minutes and more to find the hotel!When we checked out, they told us there is an elevator to go underground!But we fount out that tunnel elevator was not working!Carrying luggage and walk downstairs was not easy for us!,We were not told, and because no cross roads and need to walk a big distance and take lots of time in summer hot weather.
This is a classic hotel where they are still providing you with the amenities to make your stay comfortable. The location is within a short walk to the Tainan train station and the Tainan bus station. From the hotel, you can find many good restaurants nearby.

The room is clean and cozy, and the location is excellent—just a short ride to Taipei Eastern Business Circle, with the famous souvenir shop Chia Te right across the hotel. We also tried the nearby spa, which was a wonderful way to relax and unwind after days of traveling.
There is no view from the room. Since we are vegetarian, we asked the front desk if they could offer more vegetarian options for breakfast. They were kind and accommodating, but the selection remained quite limited.
The location is excellent if you depend on train. Just opposite the train station.The service from staff is good. They are patient and flexible in explaining and providing information to us.
The twin room was better but the first room I had was smelling, and I think part of the hotel has an unsolved mildew issue.

It's only 10min (with luggage to negotiate thru underground path across the street) from the local train-station. It provided an decent evening snack.

We returned to Hotel Tainan after staying there last year. A hotel with character, just opposite the train station, with nicely decorated rooms, and a very good breakfast.
