    • The best thing about this hotel was the staff members were superrrr friendly and welcoming!
    • ?Beach BungalowsWe recently concluded a two-day stay the COVE Phi Phi and found it to be a wonderfully quiet, laid-back, and rustic escape—the perfect end to three weeks of exploring Thailand. This resort is ideal for guests looking to genuinely relax and unwind in a beautiful, secluded setting.✅ Highlights of Our Stay (The Positives)Atmosphere & Ambiance: The overall rustic and tranquil feel of the resort was a highlight. It provided a perfect contrast to the hustle and bustle of traveling and was conducive to a relaxing, chill experience.Location & Views: The ocean view from our bungalow was stunning. The beach view and the evening lighting were spot on, creating a truly romantic and picturesque setting. Even during a torrential downpour on our second day, our bungalow offered a cozy spot for romance and enjoying the storm.Dining: The restaurant provided a pleasant dining experience. The food was generally fine, with the Greek salad being excellent and the eggs-to-order at breakfast being a decent option.
    • Clean, amazing staff & great location. The staff went above and beyond for us - especially as I fell ill during our stay. Beautiful location & beachfront hut we stayed in. The centre of Phi Phi is a 20 minute walk uphill to Viewpoint & then a 15 minute walk downhill. Signposted so easy to follow, however at night the paths are hardly used so you need to be extra vigilant.

    Cons -

    • In-Bungalow Comfort and Furnishings:Bedding: The current bedding needs attention. The mattress was quite hard, and the comforter, sheets, and pillows felt aged. A refreshing update to softer, cozier bedding would greatly improve the quality of sleep and overall comfort.Storage & Convenience: The room layout could be optimized. Adding a nightstand on both sides of the bed and providing a small dresser would be very handy for guest organization.Minibar Refrigerator: While the in-room bar fridge was functional and appreciated, it is visibly very old and rusty on top. A modern replacement would be ideal, or at minimum, a simple cosmetic solution (like a fresh coat of paint or a cover) would enhance the room's aesthetic appeal.Bathroom Amenities: We suggest adding a small shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Additionally, improved lighting would be beneficial for visibility. (couldn't see in the mirror it was so dark)Location & Activity Access:Seclusion: The boat-access-only location, 30 minutes from Phi Phi's main town, is perfect for guests who wish to "lay low" and fully embrace the resort's tranquility. However, guests should be aware that nighttime travel is reliant on private longtail boats outside the resort's service, which can feel challenging.Hiking Trail Opportunity: There is a seriously overgrown path that, with some maintenance and clearing, could offer a fantastic, adventurous hiking option into the main town of Koh Phi Phi.Recommendation: Clearing this path and marking it clearly would be a valuable amenity, especially for intermediate hikers. We attempted the climb and found it to be very steep and humid, requiring water and high vigilance due to biting ants (bug spray was ineffective against them). We turned back near the top due to the unclear path and the intensity of the insects. A safe, well-maintained path would be a huge draw for adventurous travellers.
    • Shower a tad cold, didn’t warm up enough for my liking.
    • The bed was the 2nd most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on and I have traveled all over the world. They did add an additional comforter for additional cushion so I was able to get “some” sleep the second night. We were informed that they were going to upgrade all the beds that were ocean front.

Right on the ocean front you can’t get any closer! Excellent staff!

The bed was the 2nd most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on and I have traveled all over the world. The staff, the location and our room the villa 04.

    Nothing. Everything was perfect

    5EnasPosted on: 10-25-2025

I liked the staff, they were very helpful

I felt like the shuttle boats were too expensive. Also not having buggies available to go to the room. There was no way we could call the reception from the room so was often really hard to communicate things.

A quiet gem where the jungle and the ocean meet. The staff were welcoming us so well, and took good care of us. We got upgraded to a better room, which surprised us and leveled up our stay. Food and drinks were amazing. An amazing opportunity to take your chances with the Thai kitchen and try the local dishes. Yami! The hotel's beach is located on a rich reef - so snorkeling is a must, as well as giving good care to the gentle lives underneath your feet.

Our room was located uphill, so every walk to the restaurant and the beach had to be a calculated move. As the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, you should expect some "visitors". In our case cockroaches. I think that in these cases the staff response is what matters. In our case the staff responded amazingly, immediately changed our room (and improved our location). As we mentioned the restaurant was great, but also not cheap - prepare your pocket to pay at least 220 bhat for a dish...

Location was super nice, views were amazing. In a remote area on the island, far from all the noises and crowds.

They turned off electricity at 2 or 3am until 6am, so there was no light or AC in the room. It was unbelievably hot and when I asked the staff the next morning they said they have to turn it off every day, but they never mentioned it before. That was completely disappointing, so I had to checkout 1 day earlier as I couldn’t keep up with the heat at night. And of course they didn’t accept to refund me for that 1 extra night.

The property was unique and remote with lots to do at reasonable prices

The boats start early in the mornings

    The location and garden

On arrival our room was allocated , dirty sheets and a stained valence was clearly visible, the room was very tired and the bathroom was underwhelming. We were given another bungalow, there was an improvement , but the room was tired, no places to put bags , no where to hang clothes or towels only cable ties which in my opinion is unacceptable. only one chair in the room, incredibly basic for the price. Laundry was washed and folded beautifully but I have since found that an expensive strapless bra was missing from my clothes . The restaurant / reception building was in need of a full make over, breakfast was less than adequate, and to add insult to injury there were diggers working on foundations for an obvious expansion. I tried to contact to contact you ( booking .com ) on a number of times requesting assistance, but I guess I was out of site and out of mind , incredibly frustrating and disappointing, I am still waiting a reply .

The spot and the view, superb. The staff is very nice and helpful

The breakfast, otherwise the food in the restaurant is good, but the breakfast can improve

The cove is a stunning location. It’s very remote. Great for a couple of days relaxing. Staff are very very helpful and organised our transfers from Phuket.

This might not be something that bothers everyone, but for me white bedding is a must when on holiday. The room would have felt much inviting.

    7VasilyPosted on: 4-15-2025

The position is just in front of the amazing beach

Only one restaurant with only thai food, after 1 day you want to eat something different. And even the quality of the food was not very good

    10HayleyPosted on: 4-13-2025

Absolutely beautiful place, away from everything. Crystal clear water perfect for snorkeling.Staff were amazing, helped with getting on and off the boat as its the only access. Booked a fantastic day trip for us to see all the major sights around phi phi, honestly couldn't fault them. Beach was gorgeous, little shop to buy food, drinks and necessities. Great mix of food and drinks in the main bar area.We stayed in one of the ocean view villas and it was great, very spacious, clean and fab views. They are up a steepish hill but there are stairs to help and the staff will take you up in a buggy if you want.Would definitely stay here again.

Honestly there was nothing we didn't like. If you want the party side of phi phi this probably isn't for you. The shuttle boat is free for check in and out. But you can pay if you want to go back to the main pier. Taxi boats back from the main pier can be a bit pricey.

We loved Everything about this place ! If you want a quiet and relexing vacation this is the perfect place for you , the bungalows are on the beach , its far from the center , the rooms are beautiful and the staff were amazing! We will definitely come back to this place !

Loved the bamboo bungalows, more or less walked out on to the beach. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely clean beach compared to the main part of Phi Phi Very quiet during the day if thats your preference

Little bit too far away from the main hub of Phi Phi, the resort charges for transport over to the main part of Phi Phi. Not really dooable at night, so a little quiet for us. We had really noisy neighbours on the last night shouting and screaming until 4am, there were no staff on site to deal with it, out knocks on the wall were ignored. Food was ok in the restaurant, but there is only one so no choice. We booked a full day private boat trip, very young lad took us, about 16/17, not friendly, not offered water as advertised and didn't tell us where we were when we arrived at a location, when we asked to finish the trip early as it was a bit deflating, he couldn't understand us, even with Google translate. We had the beach bungalow next to the office/restaurant shop felt a little bit instrusive with people coming and going and dropping luggage. It wasn't a bad experience, it was nice to get away from the main village, but wouldn't go back to this particular resort

    1JaeeunPosted on: 3-31-2025

The manager seemed nice and helpful on WhatsApp, but when our ferry was delayed and we missed the last taxi boat (which was at 4:30 PM!), they just told us to find our own way. That meant paying 15,000 THB every time for a taxi boat without any other options. There was a huge cockroach in our room, so we reported it before the reception closed. The next morning, nothing had been done, so we had to ask again. They finally sprayed the room at 3 PM—not exactly quick service. This resort is completely isolated, so you have to rely on them for all your meals and even basic necessities. The breakfast was greasy, cheap, and poorly organized, and they even reused the same ingredients for the evening dessert menu. If you want to enjoy fresh Thai food or tropical fruits, think twice before staying here. The shuttle boat schedule is limited, and if you have a morning ferry, they won’t help you even if you offer to pay extra. Their attitude completely changes once you’ve paid.Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

    10_jay_Posted on: 3-31-2025

We loved the whole setup of quiet time, no tv.. we loved the whole idea you have to take a long boat to and from The Cove. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and assertive to our requirements.
