Phi Phi Sea Sky Resort

Phi Phi Sea Sky Resort offers well-maintained rooms with ocean views and a decent breakfast. The staff are helpful and carry luggage, and boat transfers are available at the pier.

The steep climb to the rooms is exhausting, and the narrow alleys make it easy to get lost.

The breakfast and the view

The room is super small and there is barely any place to put your things. You basically live off the floor. Also there were a lot of cockroaches in the room. There was no TV which had been removed and no lamp on the bedside table. Also no safe.

It was perfectly situated away from town, the pictures are exactly as it looks. About a 15 minute walk through beautiful jungles and small village to get to the property. They were very accommodating and so nice! The view is absolutely stunning, great breakfast, comfortable room, rooms, and the friendliest Staff.

There was nothing I didn't like about it

Nice property, garden, great beds, quiet. Nice pool for swimming (open during the day) and shared hot spring tubs (open 24/7). Good breakfast with a lot of variety and fair amount of fruits and veggies on top. Personal is nice.

It is visible that the resort is a bit worn out, hot spring tubs are not the cleanest but ok (just some algae).

Full immersion in the nature of Phi Phi island, with an astonishing view and very pretty bungalows.Highly recommended the roof top during sunshine.

Regarding the resort, maybe more choice of local fruits would be nice.Not strictly related to the resort, I'd take more care of the route to go there. Tourists pay a tax to keep the island clean, but it doesn't seem to be effettively used.It's a pity to see so much trash around before getting to this lovely place!

The location was so nice, the staff picked us up from the boat & literally went so above and beyond, carrying out suitcases up the steps to the bungalow. They were really helpful, attentive & friendly. Breakfast was nice… only basic but was always served quick. The view from our bungalow (115) was literally insane, loved it!! Would definitely recommend staying here :)

Room was very basic, not really that big but was fine as we spent hardly any time there anyway :)

Staff were fantastic. They collected us from the pier and brought us to the accommodation via water taxi and then carried our bags to reception. They had refreshments waiting for us which was a nice touch.Location was good, it was a 10-15 minute walk into the main part of the island and was well lit at night time.

Entrance to the property is a HIKE! Lots of steps. Worth it but annoying.

The sea view is wonderful and i love the breakfast!!!

It will be a very long way to climb from the island centreand if you stay in room during afternoon, it was very hot inside!

Our room wasn't cleaned for the,3 days we were there, the room lacked a few things like a kettle

The view was perfect.The breakfast was delicious.The room was good for two people.

The way was a bit tricky.The light was not comfy in the bathroom.

The view and peacefulness in the morning

Horrendous music noise from Ibiza Pool Bar until 3am nightly. Very small room with poor and limited facilities. Very difficult walk to and from town.

Good things: Beautiful view and quiet. The staff were helpful with carrying luggage up the many steep steps. Breakfast is ok.

Cockroaches ALERT!!!!The location is far from town, with very steep hills and many stairs.However, this was not the worst thing that happened to us.Our bungalow was infested with cockroaches. We spent three days battling cockroaches in the bathroom.The owner acted very surprised and kept saying she would send someone to resolve the problem, but after three days, the issue remained unresolved and we (including a 6 year old) slept in fear. She never tried to make us feel better or offered any form of compensation.This was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Excellent welcome (really hospitable and friendly). Easy pick up via boat by the pier, easy to locate. Walked back one night and it's not far at all. Fab location. Great views from the little huts and breakfast was lovely. The owner and all the staff were fantastic.

The road from city to the resort is quite demanding, so shower after a walk is mandatory, and at night you can meet some of the local cockroaches on the way, but while you have a jungle experience by living in nature it is something everybody should be taking into account (they were here long before us and will stay long after :D). Also, make sure to have earplugs for the night as sound from parties travels by water (phiphi is not lanta, so take parties into account while booking).

The rooms are private and the set up is very unique. The reception/restaurant is gorgeous. Great view, wonderful food, friendly staff. The bed is very comfortable and good air conditioning. Not a lot of space/storage to unpack but otherwise very nice. Main flag is the location, it is more out of the way and the walk to the accommodation is quite challenging and dark at night - not sure I would want to do this on my own.

Although further out of town it is still quite noisy as the music travels across the bay so I recommend ear plugs. They do offer a free transfer by boat across the bay but it was quite disappointing that this was not possible due to a low tide - I do wish they had been more proactive about telling us as we had to run to catch our ferry when we went to leave!

Away from the main hustle and bustle of the centre. The views were absolutely incredible. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can hire kayaks for 200baht for the first hour and 100baht for each hour after that. Each bungalow has its own balcony, they are simple but clean and the beds are large and very comfortable. They have a boat that will take you and your luggage to & from the pier, or carry your luggage to the hotel if the tide is to low.

Some people complain about the location, but it’s advertised enough that you make the choice if you want to have a 10 minute walk into the town. You can hear music until 2am, but Phi Phi is a small ‘party island’ so it’s going to be loud where ever you stay, bring some ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper
