The Cobble Beach Hotel- Phi Phi Island

No shower screen or curtain

There was nothing great about this hotel. It was inconveniently far, the AC was horrible, & there was a gap in between the door and room that let all the air out / bugs in. The hotel cleaning staff was lazy & we would often see them laying in the rooms.

The music was very loud until like 4am.The absolute worst part was the staff. We were treated very rudely and passive aggressively by one in particular. If I was anyone I would recommend staying LITERALLY anywhere else. 1/10.

The hotel is within a short walking distance from the central area (around 17 minutes), which was convenient. The view is beautiful, especially from the infinity pool, and the breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. The few staff members we interacted with were friendly and polite.

We arrived before the official check-in time just to leave our luggage, but when we got there, there was no one at the reception. We waited for a long time with no assistance. We tried calling the reception number multiple times, but no one answered or replied, even though reception is supposed to operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. During this time, more guests arrived to check out and still no staff appeared, which made the situation very confusing and chaotic.Our room was not what we had chosen or what was shown in the photos. The sea view was only partial, and the room felt like an extension, very different from the other bungalows. The next morning, while getting ready, we noticed a disgusting white stain on the bedsheet, which led us to believe the sheets had not been changed. The bathroom also had half-used, already opened shampoo and conditioner bottles, a dirty mirror and sink, a shower that was slightly cold, and an empty toilet paper roll.We reported the issue with the sheets, which were removed, but the bed was left without any bedding until around 5 p.m. when we returned to the hotel. In the evening, the bed was made and the room appeared to have been cleaned. However, when we went to shower, we realized that although the towels had been “changed,” no clean towels had been left in the room. I went to the reception, but it was already closed. Luckily, I found what seemed to be clean towels on a small table nearby. Overall, it was not a great experience

First off, absolutely amazing staff from start to finish. The woman who ran the place was extremely helpful and friendly, offering to reopen the pool for us since we arrived late, as well has insisting we come have breakfast before they opened since we took off for the day early! Rooms were clean and nice, nothing amazing but perfect for the stay.

Bathrooms a bit dated but not much to complain about!

The view was beautiful, and I enjoyed the breakfast.

The hotel was generally okay, but there were a few issues that affected my stay. The shower flooded the bathroom, and there were water leak marks on the ceiling. Unfortunately, the bed was quite hard, and I woke up with discomfort each morning.

it is half way up a steepish hill but not really an issue, also it would have been nicer if the pool chairs weren’t plastic

Loud beach party all night long. This should end at 1am at the latest.

The view was unbeatable, and the staff as so friendly and helpful. They provide complimentary luggge service to and from the pier. A corgi will even take you to your room. The breakfast was incredible.

The location was a bit far, It was a pretty hard trek to and from town. My ankles were so swollen after one night there. We also almost fell through our balcony floor because the wood was soggy and just breaking off.

The view was excellent, the breakfast OMG delicious and the staff really nice they even have luggage delivery for free to the Pier when you leave

I didn't like the location. My room was way too expensive for what it was worth. My room was oceanfront, but my view was terrible, and there was no access to the beach. To get to the beach, I had to walk 15 min. Inaccurate website description. NO WORTH THE MONEY!

The property did have a great view and the location was a 15 minute walk from the pier. The pool was great and staff were friendly.

It was not clean, the toilet did not work. There was a 2inch gap that you could see through on the door. We also were not warned that you could hear the music down on the beach all night long, literally until 3:00 amin the morning.

There was no bar to buy anything!! area round the pool very limited couldn’t even order a drink (not even a water) we were told to go to the shop and buy our own no alcohol available either. Abit of a walk away from everything and this was one of the pricier places we stayed in Thailand

Beautiful placeNice staff, no going to lie and it’s no fault to this Hotel, it’s the town of Phi Phi who allow the night clubs to pump the tunes t o a ridiculous level of loudness till 3:15 Am, if i was 18 again sure but they need to find a happy medium so these place can stay open and not keep Young families or other people that are not into getting shit faced every night, Thank you cobble beach for the effort, i hope they msg get better in the noise aspect!!

Night club noise

This is classic Phi Phi! This hotel is a throwback to the times of pre=tsunami Phi Phi. A mile from. the gentrification found by the pier, this is a Dimond. The staff was super kind, friendly and helpful. The westerners style breakfast was really good and the views of the bay and ocean was spectacular, even when it rained. if you want a classic Phi Phi accommodation that is more than a Hostel, this is it!

The property was old and not kept in safety conditions. After checking the room, I requested to cancel the rooms immediately, by the refused to refund me the money I payed .

Amazing view from the Sea View Bungalow. Staff was able to get the room nice and cool.

Stairs to the pool are dangerous. The bed linen needs to be replaced as there were stains on the sheets and pillows. Showerhead did not have a holder. Koh Phi Phi has to address the sewage waste/smell and waste issue leading up to the location. The music from the beaches also makes it impossible to sleep until it's over at 3 am. Both of these are out of Cobble Beach’s control but dramatically impact the quality of the visit to this location/koh.

The pool and view from pool was good. The staff was friendly. Complimentary BF was just ok.

The windowsills has huge gaps, and the bathroom had active rodent feces every morning. By the 3rd night giant cockroaches were invading the bathroom. There was a dead cockroach on the floor next to bed. The noise from party areas was loud. The A/C was unreliable. Was not a comfortable place to stay, felt like poor value for the money.

Pool is great. Breakfast is good.

The place is too close to bars and clubs what makes it impossible to really have a quiet environment until 3am.
