Nice beachfront location

- Air conditioning DID NOT work properly - Open bathroom concept - Bathroom door didn't close properly due to which the hot air from outdoors (remember open bathroom concept) kept coming into our room and made things worse - Far from Don Phi Phi

The location was away from some of craziness near the pier and beyond. The beach area and swimming area was good, further away from most of the longtail boats (which are noisy and stinky). The staff were mostly very pleasant. The beach chairs and bar/food area is good except watch what you order. I likely should not have ordered the caprese salad, but due to the heat of the day, I didn't want hot food. Sadly I got food poisoning, should've known the mozzarella wasn't good. Drinks were good. Once I was able to make breakfast, they had a good selection of foods and it was reasonably pleasant. They have fans which helps. The room was fine, well equipped. Bathroom is sort half outside with a thin wall. Lighting was a bit weak but it did the job. They could use new towels, theirs are rather threadbare. Overall, not a bad spot but could use a little perking up. Again staff was very pleasant, accommodating and kind.

The hotel staff were so kind and helpful! We loved the private beach and how this part of the island was peaceful but we could easily walk to where everything is. We highly recommend!

It was a pleasant stay. Since phi phi is such a small island everything is just at walking distance. Rooms were clean as discribed. But the mama beach resort is on the right from the pier just 12mins walk. At night it is very dark hardly any street lights. We enjoy alot.

Nice secluded area away from the noise near the cliffs by the water. Rooms are very nice and bed is comfy. Close to the beach with some good amenities like loungers and sitting area.

Rooms are nice but do need a little more light. Also a pool but it’s not much of a problem because the beautiful sea is right there.

The hotel is located on the beach, with a dedicated area for some of their beds. It’s a short walk from the pier to the hotel, about 10–15 minutes. When you arrive and leave, they arrange luggage transport for you! Because the hotel is slightly set back from the main area, it is more peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was decent with good-quality food, though the variety was limited. The rooms are okay, with a great view over the sea (if you are lucky). The bathroom is rather outdated compared to the room itself, but it also has a certain charm. What really stood out was the staff, I have never experienced such sincere, friendly, warm, and helpful people. Everyone is smiling and aiming to give you the best time they can. The staff was a pleasure to meet and definitely had a positive impact on an already very pleasant stay.

As the bathroom was more like semi-open bathroom, it stayed pretty humid in there.

Excellent location, by the most quiet and peaceful area of the main Phi Phi beach. The staff was very polite and helpful. The outer areas were amazing, and they even provided free sunbeds by the beach. Definitely the nicest area to stay if you want to be close to everything but still far from the noise :)

The facilities are rather basic, and the toilet should definitely be renovated. The lights in the room and corridor also attracted hundreds of little flies that we ended up finding dead on the floor inside our room - a yellow LED light could easily solve this problem...There was also a smell coming from the toilet sometimes and the towels had an odour due to humidity.

Extremely wonderful staff (which includes the attached restaurant). They were so attentive to my partner who required electrolytes and always checked in. The view is awesome and it’s a comfortable room to rest in after a long day in the main town of Phi Phi. It’s one of the furthest from town which means it’s quiet and peaceful.

The beds are quite hard and the hot water is lacking but that’s standard for Thailand.

Beds pretty small . Pool wasn't really the greatest. Kayaks came without seats and shitty paddles. Ferry tickets cheaper at pier. Laundry service quite expensive

We loved our stay at Mama Beach. It was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere . Our accommodations were clean and spacious

Everithing. Location is great. 700 meters from the pier makes it an amazing mixture of being far from the noise and close when you want to go out. We wanted to stay one more night and they gave us the last room with a discount just like that… The staff is very kind and helpfull and a very important point is that the beach is clean and there are no boats. Many hotels have the beaches in front of them full of boats and just a tiny small place dedicated to people. We even hired a private long boat to take us to other places like monkey beach, snorkeling and some other points of interest and we did it all with the front desk. Amazing place…

Close but not too close. 10 min walk to party vibe places. Beach front bar is excellent. Breakfast is delish. Not beach front but kinda is beach front, way more than other places. Hard to explain but if you want a great place to chill, this place is a yes.

If you want to lock up, they have a physical key.

The balconys are awasome but they are very close and many of the guest smoke cannabis there and in the common places like beach also . And they smoke all day .

Quiet, pleasant and clean

Showers are outside of the room, with no door that provides a complete barrier. Water was only decently hot and due to it being outside, the shower itself can be also influenced by weather

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was clean, good shower, beautiful view. The beach was kept clean and we brought our snorkels and found many fish. It is a walking distance from the pier. The staff helped us carry our luggages from the pier, very helpful. The receptionist helped us a lot with gathering information. I loved the part that we could relax away from the center noise too. Just chilling at the beach is worth staying at Phi Phi so we might just skip the tours next time and relax. And don’t forget to add breakfast! It was delicious!We will definitely come back!!

It’s the last property on the strip so be ready to walk 10min just to get anywhere

The location was great 10 minutes from the action but also far enough to be quiet and peaceful.

The bathroom was not completely closed so the warm air from outside can make that room very hot.

Super friendly staff. Great location at the end of the walking street, quiet and still close to the busy area.
