We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally attentive, and the food was outstanding. My family had a delightful time, spiced with the activities and games organized at the property.I would also like to extend my appreciation to Mr. Shailendra Pushkar, Executive Housekeeper, whose dedication and hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

I do, however, feel that the guest experience could be further enhanced if the hotel implement effective solutions to address the recurring power interruptions in Ooty and by equipping rooms with smart TVs, enabling access to platforms such as Netflix and YouTube.

The location is superb,the rooms r well maintained with all facilities.The service is excellent and the food is also good.Ms divyashree assisted us well and took care of our concerns..The staff at the reception and the restaurant gave an excellent service very friendly & polite.Overall a pleasant stay .

Lots of options for kids to enjoy like art and craft, video games, archery etc.. kids enjoyed a lot.. we got some stunning views of nigiri mountain range.. so overall good.

Breakfast was average—there were plenty of options, but nothing stood out in terms of taste, and the lack of attention to detail was noticeable. The view and location are fantastic, but the property feels outdated, and the room facilities are underwhelming.While the rooms are spacious with excellent views, the bathroom is dated, lacking even a proper shower cubicle—just a shower curtain. Not worth the price we paid, as the only complimentary service was a jaggery coffee on arrival, with everything else being overpriced and not offering good value. One positive aspect is that the place is kid-friendly, with a decent play area and some activities. However, most activities come at an extra cost, with only a few included in the price. Overall, it’s suitable for families with young children, but it doesn't justify the cost given the limited inclusions.

The property is dated, all facilities are dated, and the food is average; attention to detail is missing. The staff are friendly, but the property is overpriced for what it offers. I will not be staying there again.

Excellent stay at Sterling Elk! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Special mention to the front desk particularly Reshma and Shruti who took exceptional care of everything and provided outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Lovely room, super view, great breakfast, helpful staff, beautifully clean and well designed and furnished.

Beware that the corridor for the “Valley View suites” is between the main function room and the doors to the outside function area. The high footfall and conversation can be noisy.

We stayed 3 days here and our stays was amazing and very refreshing experience. The Gala dinner was also unique experience and my daughter enjoyed a lot. The staff were very humble and approachable and always ready to help with smile. Divyashree Thank you so much, I will always recommend others to stay here and we may visit in future again.

Location is good. We stayed in vally facing privilege room which has very good view. Overall stay is good except food which was average.Breakfast spread was excellent and tasty.Serving staff hospitality is excellent.

Especially north indian food, bakery items, deserts need to improve. They charge service charges on almost all services. Very less activity for young children.
