Aloha Hotel Keelung

Very close to the NCL embarkation port. Walking distance about 2 -3 blocks. The amenities included shaver, toothpaste, toothbrush, conditioning shampoos, liquid soaps, and lotions.

The room is hot, no air condition unit. A lot of clutter on the hallway. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Shower in the bathroom is not enclosed. Elevators were small only will accommodate 4 people.

The location and ONLY the LOCATION.

The bed was HARD and LOW. It’s OLD. The bedding is old and very dated. You CAN NOT, I repeat, CAN NOT, control the temperature of the rooms. So you will be either VERY COLD or VERY HOT. No shower curtain in our unit, towels are paper thin and WiFi is SLOW. You will fill ICKY once you enter your room. Trust me, we ended up getting another room, the next day, elsewhere.

The staff are very gentle, welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

The room is quite cramped and restricted, and the decoration and facilities make you feel like you were living in 1920s. What’s even worse is that the bedclothes and comforter cover look like they were never been washed or changed. The blood stains and yellowing from body oils on the bedding are obvious and extremely unpleasant. There’s much room for hygiene and cleanness improvement.

A central location not too far from the bus and train station.

I am not sure what kind of hotel this was. I think now, it may have been a brothel of some sort.I had to put a cleaner sheet on the bed. Beside the bed has a serviette dispenser with paper cups, full of condoms. The receptionists were nice. At 2:00 a.m., after unable to sleep for three hours due to loud commotion in the adjacent room, I went to the reception and complained. They made a phone call to the room. Problem solved. Though not a nice feeling.

A nice place with friendly staff. It's an old building with a peculiar style, but it's affordable and a great location in downtown Keelung, just a few minutes' walk from the night market and other local attractions.

Bed is VERY uncomfortable. Very hard matress and mega heavy blanket. I had feeling that I sleep on the rock.Smell was very old but I opened window. Besides, it was very loud outside our room. It feels like you dont have doors and windows(even when its closed). Fan on our floor was annoying loud. You just can't sleep at all.You always feel dirty because everything smells old.

It's out of date but has everything you need. The bed is low and hard, you won't believe there has a mattress.

Location was unbeatable. Very close to the cruise port, and lots of shopping and food.

Very dated environment. Could easily be upgraded and look a lot better.

The location is excellent and easy to find. Everything was comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful.

The room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke and had no windows or natural light.

No heating at all!!! AC/DC awfully cold and impossible to be stopped!!! The only support i got was non English speaking housekeeper , brought a second blanket and let me survive!!! I didn’t sleep , my entire body froze and am the morning- running nose!!!!

Nicely located, but thats all for the good side.

Dirty Bathroom. The AC could not be adjusted, so it went full power 24/7. Blankets werent thick enough to handle that. Staff not welcoming. Aquarium with fish in disgusting water who look like they are about to die from negligence. Just to name a few things that made me feel like I wanna leave this place. The worst is that it wasn't even cheap

The bed is okay.

Everything other than the bed is not okay. There were used cups in the room. The bathroom is not as clean. And the staff are grumpy

There were no windows, the space was small and the internet was shaky. Also, I repeatedly found hairs in the bed and on the towels.I often stay in hotels around Taiwan, and for the price, this room was certainly below average.

It is what it is. You book a cheap hotel, you get a cheap hotel. Good value for the money. Little annoyances (the AC couldn't be turned off).

Non-smoking room smelled like tobacco smoke. I had no occasion to use the cup of condoms by the bedside.

Rooms are in need of remodeling and ac didn't work second night.

Reception staff were really nice and super helpful with all the room issues even though most had minimal English. Bathtub with high pressure and heat quite nice!

I was eaten alive by bedbugs of varying sizes, brought some adult corpses down to reception to move rooms but damage already done. Room quite messy with dirt floor and hair on bed. Bubble tea left in fridge from previous occupant smelled quite bad. Enjoy the Uniqlo shirt I forgot there in my haste to escape!

The location. It's easy to find.

No breakfast offered. And sometimes the price is high for the services being offered.

location near city. 15 minutes walking distance to Keelung TRA & 6 minutes walking distance to Erxin Xunhuan Station

linen cleanliness is not really good, budget hostel standard

not worth the money. beds are so uncomfortable. not soundproof at all.

the bed was so uncomfortable we couldn’t even lie on our sides without it hurting. only one lift to cater for the entire hotel. the rooms are not soundproof at all and you can hear everything between the rooms.the people next door tk us had a party and made lots of noise which kept us up.the shower/bath has no shower curtain/door so the bathroom floor gets soaked each time.
