High Season Pool Villa & Spa

Our experience at high season was excellent. Our room was lovely, and the bed was so comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious with many options, and we loved the mimosas. The staff are really what made our stay though! Everyone was so kind and helpful. It was sooo nice to get a private shuttle to and from the port for the ferry, and the team members helped us even after we were off the ferry. Thanks so much high season team! The beach is also wonderful, in a bay with calm, clear waters. I would recommend booking the birds nest for dinner! It is expensive but a great experience.

Occasional stinky smell in our bathroom, and the restaurant on site is fairly expensive. Otherwise perfect!

Two of the doors in our room had gaps that let in ants. Staff don’t enforce no smoking in no smoking areas. Staff kept removing items we requested in our room.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, with plenty of variety. The beach is clean and a wonderful place to enjoy happy hour while watching the sunset. I will definitely come back again.

We loved staying here. The resort was beautifully laid out and our villa was gorgeous. The private plunge pool was a great addition. An amazing location for sunsets, happy hour sunsets, the best staff, delicious food and great amenities! The staff and service were especially wonderful!!!!

As it was our honeymoon trip, we decided to book the villa with a private pool. Although it was quite expensive, the service and accommodation was worth it all. We were welcomed with drinks and fruits at the reception, after which we were led to the room. We did not make our way to the waterfall since we opted for the canoeing trip to the mangrove river. There was a guide provided by the resort to ensure nothing goes amiss. There are also other activities conducted but it is based on their weekly arrangements. The villa is extremely clean and beautiful. As there may be mosquitoes or other insects, the room is also provided with a repellent spray. Overall, the place is well-equipped and enjoyable, as they also provide snorkeling gear and otherwise, free of charge. During our stay, we had the pleasure of being shown around by Cindy.

The location is exceptional, right on the beach. It was quiet and a little secluded, exactly what we were looking for. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We had the beachfront villa which was spacious, decorated beautifully, private pool and lawn and a wonderful little sala right on the beachfront.

The property is simply amazing. Facing the beach or sit at their huge colorful pool, you're constantly immersed in the nature. The resort looks endless with greenery everywhere.The pool villas are lovely in terms of colors, design and light exposure. That yellowish/mustard color is simply outstanding. Even in the pool, it makes the water look green so even more natural.Huge bathroom space, love the light coming from the top of the shower, it reminds me Moroccan houses.Fantastic staff, mainly Jimmy.

They need to fix quickly the tiles at the entrance of the resort, just in front of the lobby..I think it has just been done so it's an unfinished job, but better to make it as faster as possible being the first thing you notice when you arrive: it doesn't have to ruin the beauty of the entire resort!Cleaning could be deeper in the outdoor areas to make it a 10/10.

I’m truly impressed by the warm hospitality at High Season Pool Villa & Spa. This is my second time returning, and once again, everything exceeded my expectations. From the peaceful atmosphere to the attentive service, every moment here feels like a dream. Thank you for making my stay so special — I’ll definitely be back again!

Staff are lovely…makes such a difference, they genuinely want to to enjoy your stay as much as they can, so helpful and friendly.Restaurant food was delicious, reasonably priced and large portions with a comprehensive menu, we had no need to dine anywhere else….excellent food and service.Breakfast buffet was top notch Rooms are large and very comfortable ( we had a grand villa, deluxe are duplex style, grand are stand-alone}.

Quite a few mosquitoes but that’s more to do with Koh Kood in the wet season than the resort itself.

location is fantastic, facilities are good.

the property needs to cater to the guests knowing that what the shortcoming is. the beach has tremendous sand flies and needs regular raking so the guests don’t get beaten badly and fall sick. the service is below par for a 5 star. the restaurant charges are exorbitant without the quality or service.

I have to say it’s the original Thailand experience, clean beaches friendly staff best food and the island is untouched by that I mean a really jungle.

The property is idyllic! It is beautifully maintained, the landscaping is next level. Service was incredibly friendly and helpful, they have done a wonderful job with their staff. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean, and beautifully designed. The location on the island is close to the waterfalls, and many restaurants, all accessible by the motorbike available for 300 baht. The beach is the most beautiful beach on the island, it’s calm with crystal clear waters.

Love the Fresh Juice and cold press fruit&vegetable juice for breakfast.love the location, vibe and cleanliness.The beach is private and quite and beautiful.Love the surprise wine for a return customer - but wine could be better quality than this please.Love the mini coffee machine Nesspresso in the room.Bed is comfortable.Room is specious for family.

1.More variety in Breakfast meal please. Options for non sweeten fresh soy milk (not instant soy milk such as Vitamilk with sugar), almond milk for coffee. Coffee bean is too bitter - Bon Cafe brand is too bitter.2. Bakery could be better.3. Fresh avocado for breakfast please.

Disappointing Stay – Romantic Escape Turned Into a Rodent NightmareWe were hoping for a romantic getaway and instead found ourselves hoping for pest control. The property is architecturally charming at first glance, but upon arrival, we immediately noticed rats running along the external ceiling of our room.That night, loud noises and a terrible smell coming from the bathroom ceiling alarmed us. When we reported it to the staff, we were initially told it was likely just geckos or birds. However, the following night the noises intensified, and after we insisted, a hatch in the ceiling was opened—revealing and capturing a rat.Despite this, the problem persisted. The next morning, we discovered clear evidence of rodent activity: scratch marks on the ceiling, stains on the armchairs, and numerous feces around the room. We documented everything with photos and videos.We were offered a room change with the promise of complete deratization. However, although we were told the new room would be ready by 1:00 PM, we were only given access at 3:00 PM, after waiting for hours on the beach.As compensation, we were offered a single complimentary dinner. We find this gesture entirely inadequate given:•Three sleepless nights in unsanitary and psychologically distressing conditions•The confirmed presence of pests in our room•The time lost due to the room change•The serious negative impact on our overall stayEven though these were less important compared to the health and safety concerns, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast felt like something from a budget hotel—far from a five-star standard. In fact, the only truly five-star experience we had was the price of the stay.This experience was deeply disappointing and fell far short of what one would expect from a property of this standing.We are in contact with Booking to obtain compensation, and we hope that, considering the seriousness from a hygiene and health perspective, it will be feasible.

Great location on a beautiful beach although shared with lots of other resorts . Beautiful gardens in the grounds of the hotel with lots to explore .Large and well maintained villas that were comfortable and private with daily housekeeping and evening turndown service where they provide you with desserts and lots of water Breakfast is delicious with lots of variety of western and Asian food with fresh fruit and tropical juices Pick up and drop off services provided complimentary around the island although you can easily rent a scooter for 300 THB/day from reception The high spa was very luxurious and we felt very spoilt Food at the Thai beach front resteraunt was good quality and we dined here on numerous evenings. A great place to watch the sunset

The beachfront restaurant service was average although we understand they were very busy especially during happy hour and the food is quite expensive . Some parts of the hotel are in need of repair and would have appreciated better quality day beds and service on the beach

While you can tell the property is older, the villas are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Breakfast features a nice variety of options, and the resort provides complimentary pick-up and drop-off services within the island, making logistics easy. The beachfront is beautiful, wide, and peaceful.

Value for money is questionable. For the rates charged, I expected exceptional service and facilities, but these were lacking. Despite its five-star rating, the service falls short; staff are polite but not attentive or well-trained, and communication in English is often difficult. The villas lack privacy, the private pools and main pool are not well maintained, and sunbeds are outdated and uncomfortable. At the private pool, there were no sunbeds, only two old wooden chairs without cushions. Housekeeping is basic and inconsistent, facilities like the gym are poorly maintained, and the food and drink prices are high compared to the quality delivered, making the overall value for money disappointing.

We loved staying at High Season. The Grande Pool Villa was fantastic, very spacious, clean and the bed was so comfy! The bathroom was huge!Outside was quite private and the pool was just perfect for early morning and late night swims. Overall a brilliant stay.The staff were absolutely amazing.The choice at breakfast was plentiful, it even has a cold room for salads and fruits. We loved the little luxuries like a juice press station and sparkling wine offered, all while looking at the beautiful blue sea and coconut trees.Finally, the beach bar happy hours every night meant we could watch the sunset with a cocktail in hand and our child having fun on the swing.We can’t wait to go back there!

Nothing apart from the fact it would have been nice to have a separate bedroom rather than an open villa. But that wouldn’t stop me from going back!
