The location, friendly staff, good service

The room was good but had weird smell because of humidity

It is exorbitantly priced for what it offers, If the price was around 6 or 7k, I would rate everything excellent.. 12.5k for a room is too much on the higher side and for that price I expected much more

The resort at large is good surrounded by so much greenery, keeping the guests away from the scorching sun of the summer. The staffs are all amazing. I also appreciate they have free activities planned. I took pottery class, poo kadai and the iconic bull cart ride.

The room is dated for sure and there was bad smell from the toilet - we didn’t complain as I know there isn’t much they can do given the current condition of the hotel room. The equipments in gym are in poor condition, one of the treadmills was not working.

The location and the service

The air conditioner was making weird noise every 10 min, making us stay awake all night

The lady at the spa said they offer massage facilities for couple only...my wife has enquired earlier and they told her she could come anytime. I felt very cheap and their attitude is demeaning. I will not come back here or recommend it to anyone

I didn't like the fact that my room had no view and I couldn't open the blinds because otherwise people could see in. So it was very dark. The pool is lovely and staff very nice. A lot of European tourists. Possible to get tuk tuk into town but a little expensive

Perfect choice for groups! Amazing, silent oasis! Everything was fine (the rooms, the food etc.)! Nice staff, everybody was nice and professional! Amazing nature location! Definitely come back soon! :-) Thanks for everything!

The greenery

Sparsa is the best accommodation in Tiruvannamalai by far. Breakfast was exceptional, and staff were also very helpful.

I really do not have any dislikes it truly was the best place I have stayed in Tiru

The property outside is very good, food was decent compared to what is available outside, the evening tea and the pool was very good. Welcome hospitality was good. Easy check in, they also helped us to change the room which was give. To us at the back.

The rooms, mouldy smell not worth the money paid, the towels were old and not fresh, Lenin which was given for the extra bed and the extra bed were very bad. The room too gloomy and run down. It was our mistake of not paying attention to the check inn and check out time, however it is in the hospitality industry to accommodate first time guest, but sending a person behind to wait until we vacate was hitting under the belt. Would I recommend to any, one not really.

Breakfast was excellent!! Lunch was ok.

We had booked 2 rooms. One of the room was smelling of pesticide!! They said they couldn’t change the room as they were booked fully. We had to put up with that smell. Everything else about the stay was very good.

The ambience,.service, stay...all good. Good activities that can work for a days stay.

Food was average. Could be much better for the cost. The fridge in the room wasn't working. We called for the technician. He came and did something and said it's working. But it didn't. The stuff we kept inside went bad and we had to junk the lot. Also there were monkeys by the pool. Guess it's tough to keep them away.

Amazing property- very green & natural, polite & helpful staff. Great facilities, activities & food too. Hygiene is top notch.

The food - overly heavy and rich. Good food if you like that sort of thing but if you prefer healthier options, there is nothing on offer or even comes close.

The rooms are very stuffy with no ventilation. The central AC has to be cleaned. Lot of dust and I got infected with cold on my return?

A well planned and maintained resort with a lot of greenery around

Inconsistent experience. Some of the standard rooms are converted from a smaller cottage with single beds put together. A big disappointment compared to an earlier stay. The resort is always fully occupied due to group tours/activities. Priority is given to these group stays for service as well as room allocation. Food Is consistently average. Spoilt coconut chutney for breakfast shows repetition in food served. Spa is very average and not worth it

Staff and the service was the best part of the resort. The dinner buffet was great too. The staff didn't look greedy for minting money at every single opportunity that is not so common in resorts now a days.

We liked the resort very much and do not have any complaints.However, the resort may look into rennovating the rooms as the fittings and furniture now show the age.
