Koh Mak Buri Hut Natural Resort

Place is so beautiful, surrounding nature, resort buildings and swimming pool. Peacefull, serene, silent place. Just amazing, I loved it so much.

I liked everything.

This resort was amazing! The bungalows are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The pool is divine, really clean with very few chemicals. The food and resort staff are lovely!

Bee was amazing! She sorted me out even after I had misbooked my check out… changed my boat ticket and had me on time to the best option for that afternoon, no extra cost… and always with a smile! Can’t give her enough props.

For me all good!

The only thing that can be improved are the blankets. it wasn't a down blanket but rather a fly blanket that felt greasy and a bit dirty.

Location is a bit out of the way, but the views are nice and the island is small, so not a biggie. Rent a motorbike or EV (golf cart) to get around.We first had breakfast near the pool bar, where there are superb views. Later this was unfortunately no longer possible and breakfast had to be had at the restaurant / bar, did not like this location and building. Small red sand beach (though resort is very honest that their beach is limited)

Nice bungalows, good staff. Be aware you have to pay 5% extra if you want to use card payment.

Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Thailand. The resort was very chilled. Decent pool and great scenery. The beds were very comfortable. B was very welcoming and hilarious.

Limited menu at the restaurant/bar which closes around 20:30.

The staff are incredible. They're friendly, sweet, welcoming, and fun. This place also not only overlooks the island but has a private entrance to the beach as well as its own swimming pool and restaurant in addition to that. The breakfast at the restaurant is good value for money as well. The staff are also extremely helpful when it comes to organizing things like transport, food, contacting tour companies, etc. Bonus points: - They have cats and dogs- The beds are shockingly comfy and I was given a bolster/side pillow as well, which I don't find often when travelling- The staff saw that it was my birthday and surprised me with a birthday waffle and ice cream, just so sweet. They even went the extra mile when I said I was hungry later that night when everything was closed, offering to show me around the island in case anything was still open.

The floors were slightly dusty, which I suspect might be due to sand. This is minor though and I'm just being picky. Excellent stay and I can't recommend this place enough. This is probably the best place to stay on the island.

Contact with Bee was fantastic, arranged pick up from the pier for us so we had a smooth and welcoming arrival to the resort along with their speciality elixir health drink!All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food and drinks served from the cafe were delicious. The pool was outstanding and the bungalows were beautiful, kept clean and tidy daily and restocked with water.The location is stunning with a small beach great for snorkelling and kayaking and a pier with a swing at the end to watch the most amazing sunsets over this truly beautiful island.We didn’t want to leave!!

Staff very friendly, quiet resort with a lovely view across the bay. Pool is lovely.

You do need a scooter but it is easy to rent one and very safe to drive in koh mak

Room was dirty to begin with and then they didn’t clean it after first day. We stayed somewhere else the third night

The view is amazing ! The staff picked us at the harbor and drop us back when it was time to leave

The staff and child facilities were absolutely lovely. They made everything in their power to make the stay as comfortable and fun as possible for our children and that is priceless. There was a playing ground that our 2.5 year old son loved. The swimming pool was great. If we knew how fantastic this place was, we would have stayed longer. It

Food was ok but nothing special and a bit expensive (since this is Thailand, that still means comparatively good and inexpensive food). Room was perfect for two adults but a bit narrow for two adults plus 2 small children. We knew that, however, and the staff made all efforts to still make it comfortable, which worked well.

The lovely ladies in reception are very helpful and welcoming The bed and pillows were comfortable. Quite location with stunning view. Lovely pier for fishing. The pool was excellent and a welcome relief from the sun with plenty of sun loungers and clean towels. Would definitely need a scooter to get around, which can be arranged at reception and also free transfers to the pier.

The TV was very old and didn't work but was not a problem for us. Didn't use restaurant but places a short ride away and good local supermarket.
