Room was awkward with a small step, a lot of wallsockets for electricity- only few of them working.

Such a great place, nice and spacious rooms, perfect beach, nice snorkeling, great restaurant, very friendly people. We like everything and can recommend this place for sure.

We spent the last few days of our 3-week trip to Thailand here, and it was the perfect ending to an amazing vacation. We chose Koh Mak because we wanted a relaxing, uncrowded island before heading back to the US. After staying in Koh Kut, we transferred to Koh Mak, where a staff member kindly picked us up right at the pier.I had booked in advance and chose a room facing the beach—and it ended up being one of my favorite stays from all our travels around the world. The beach is clean, peaceful, and calm. No boats or noisy water sports, just pure relaxation. We slept like babies every night.The property is beautiful, the staff is incredibly friendly, and they offer motorbike rentals, which is a great way to explore the small island.Such a special place—highly recommend!

Peaceful and relaxing

Walking along the beaches nearby, there was plastic and rubbish on the beach. This was not on White Sand beach but it meant that walking along the beaches nearby was not enjoyable.

Beautiful garden setting. Big rooms. Pretty good beach. Quiet. Nice main house for reception and meals. Friendly helpful staff.

Crazy step in the middle of the living area that you can’t help but trip over. Bathroom smells a bit. Not really a swimming beach and definitely no white sand.

Lovely resort with beachfront cabins, a really good restaurant and lovely beaches. It even has a daycare for children and a tenniscourt. Nice massage and small but clean pool in the middle of the resort.

The breakfast buffet could have been a bit more luxurious and the kitchen not closed between lunch and dinnertime, other than that, nothing to criticize.

The staff were beautiful and very helpful.The food was fresh and yummy.Koh Mak is a beautiful island- not this part of it though.

The beaches at the resort on both sides were littered with rubbish. The pool was very small for the size of the resort. There isn’t enough golf buggy’s to hire out to everyone and you need that or a bike to explore the island.

Wonderful place! Clean rooms, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about every guest. Everything was top-notch – highly recommended!?

A very quiet and relaxing villa with beach access. The on-site café and rooftop offered great views.There are blackout curtains, a hot water shower, and good water pressure.Motorbike rentals were available, and it was just about 10 minutes to the city center.The staff were friendly and attentive.It was a wonderful experience.

Best resort for sunset and everyone was so fabulous. Very well-equipped gym. Thank you Khun Muoy and Khun Pud!

The room was lovely and big and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to hire a motorbike from the resort and also able to book our further ferry tickets. Pick up from the arriving pier was free. We arrived early and our room was ready, which was fabulous.

Often, the beaches had rubbish on them, that had washed up. This was pretty off putting and we tried to clean them up ourselves, but we felt this could have been done more often.

Koh Mak is a small lovely island and this hotel is easily accessible. You can walk along the beach to the pier. We hired a scooter first time ever but island is so small it is easy to get around no traffic. If you don’t like the idea of a scooter you can hire a golf buggy. We loved this island. The hotel food was good we didn’t include breakfast but they gave us breakfast for free on our last morning. We did have dinner at the hotel and the Massaman curry was great. We hired our scooter from the hotel no deposit or leaving passports. Lovely staff.

A fabulous, huge room with a great roof terrace with a view of the ocean,great for stargazing at night. Super comfy big bed and very spacious bathroom. Spotlessly clean and good air conditioner too. The rooftop bar was a great spot for sundowners with a view across the bay. Good restaurant also with lovely views. All the staff were just lovely, always smiling, laughing and so very helpful. The gardens are full of trees and well kept shrubs and made this small resort a pleasure to be in. We look forward to returning.

Best location on the island, amazing sunsets, beautiful hotel territory and super good gym. The hotel staff is exceptional, super helpful and friendly. We’ve stayed in a sea view villa and enjoyed sunsets right from our terrace. The hotel also has a wonderful rooftop terrace, the best place to watch sunsets!
