Woda Villa & Spa

Location of the development was good.The front staffs were polite.Ordering of Breakfast felt personalized.The room was equipped with an umbrella.The door to the swimming pool was firm and not flimsy

As the room may be a connecting room, when required, thus noise from the neighbors do travel and may be disturbing.The idea of the development to be a chill concept is notable, however the music from the restaurant may not be a wise choice, which lasted till 11pm. (Mgmt to reconsider this decision)

The concept of the villa

Overall Lack maintenance and upkeep. Noisy as the villa is next to a sports facility but ear plugs provided by the villa.

Definitely enjoyed the super private pool. Loved the entire vibes of the space being above water. Feels really calming during evening time. I loved how we had an option of a bathtub in our room if we didnt want to swim in the pool. The bathroom is huge!I enjoyed the location. It's very close to all the necessary places. By car, it's usually about 10-15 mins ride to areas like Nagoya hill, batam zoo, batam mega mall. By walking, there's a seafood place called golden prawn - loved the atmosphere at night, two layer cake shops - one in golden prawn itself and another is just behind the villa called Golden layered cake which we bought the Nutella one & it's so good. Behind the villa also, you could walk along the golden city strip where they have a lot of food! It mostly opens at night but it's a great place to find a mix of both hip cafes, foreign cuisines and local food. We also particularly loved Kasta coffee where they had a live band at night in the outdoor space decorated in fairy lights all over.

1. Too much mothballs in the bathroom. I understand it's to control the sand flies which is a prevalent issue in batam all over, but it gave me constant headaches because that's the main smell of the room. When I unpacked my luggage at home, I realized my entire luggage smelled of mothballs. Perhaps a more healthier alternative of mothballs as the exposure of mothballs to humans is harmful.2. Loved the sheer size of the bathroom, but I wished there's a mounted/bigger shower head installed. The one in our room was a bit too small and honestly a bit harder to have a proper shower. 3. Need more variety of breakfast food. There were a total of about 5 dishes to choose from. It would be good if there's more local dishes to choose from & perhaps if it's less salty. Adding a cereal station would be helpful as well.4. Would be good if there's a way out on the opposite end where the golden city food strip is. Then we wouldn't have to pass through the mini roads at night as it is not as brightly lit. We always had to go out by the main entrance and walk towards the back of Woda villa by the side roads. Lastly, this is not necessarily a bad thing but I feel like there's an opportunity to add a gym & sauna rooms. It would be such an experience to workout above water.

The spacious room, the friendly staff who delivered things fast, the pool. The facilities were pretty fantastic. The lack of mosquitos.

The 11pm cut off for pool usage considering the Golden Prawn activities were going on till 2am. The towels weren't in the best of shape.

Wonderful place to chill with nice view! Javanese breakfast is superb❤️ Room is clean and the staffs are very friendly.

The location is not at the centre, so plan your schedule carefully?

This is my second time stay in Woda in the last 2 months. Simply enjoyed it. Went to Batam only to stay there. Lovely Staffs, Amazing food and overall extra ordinary!!

the space is very clean and quiet.

The toilet was a little smelly after every use.

Was very surprised that the toilet had no water hose.should had given spare toilet roll, should have provided one more arm chair.very disappointed with that and it's very loud music outside.we can't even listen to our own song if we sit by the pool.

The small private pool, the big bedroom, big toilet area and comfortable bed. Do check in details if booking for the room. There are 4 to 5 room selections.

The music from the nearby restaurants and the hotel bars, played through the night until 1am. But luckily the family can sleep. The drainage in the toilet is slow and I had to wait for the water to slowly drain off before continuing the wash.The toilet flush is not strong.

Room space and Air-conditioning

No standing shower, no conditioner, shower foam bottle unable to press, lots of mosquitoes, old and torn towel, kettle plug need to hold at the swtich while boiling, pool cloudy, walkway dangerously no fending, terribly noise at night in able to sleep. Unless you're a night or clubbing person. Breakfast were so so, cold fried egg. Need maintainence to sustain. Wifi not functioning for 2 days. Very sad and disappointed with the price we paid.

Concept of the whole place but dirty waters does spoils the whole vibe

Private pool looks chalky, hence don’t dare to use. Do expect very loud partying sound every night till 2am from nearby pubs and clubs. Breakfast was just edible, don’t have expectations for good food.

The hotel concept is nice and my family really enkyedd the private pool

Like what many other have mentioned. There's live music and at least one club in close proximity. The music is really loud up to 1-2am. So we had trouble sleeping
