Batam View Beach Resort

Value for money. Live music was fun. Golf course nearby. Friendly staff views were good.

Coffee not good and breakfast just about ok. The hotel is getting old. We had two power cuts The private beach only nice at high tide.

Quiet and peaceful.

Very far from main city. Seaview room was blocked with tree. Should book pool view cause has better sea view

Great resort for relaxing in a calm enviroment. The pool was really nice and it's great to have a private beach. The room had a good size and it was clean. Everyday there was some show close to the bar for enjoy the night with some drinks.

The breakfast didn't have a lot of options. The beach was dirty and full of trash, so it wasn't possible to have a bath in the sea. The location is nice for being away from the hassle of the city, but it isn't convenient to visit places arround.

Quietness. Further out from Batam Center so it is very quiet.

Staff. Responisbility of hotel was dismal. Booked a room with sea view but was given a room with pool view. Feedbacked to the staff. They told me that I could change room on the day of arrival but can only do so the following day. Staff told me there was a big group of people coming in and needed to check availability the next day. We had planned full day activities the next day so was unable to get our room changed. At check out, inform the staff that we booked a room with sea view but was given a pool view. Was told that the room had a pool and SLIGHT sea view. Pool view was 80%. Sea view was only 20%. Very disappointing that the staff tried to gaslight us on this.Not enough staff at the fresh cooking stations for breakfast. Breakfast will take 1 hour to 1.5 hours if you order from the fresh cooking stations especially the more populat station.

- Room was just as described – very nice and comfortable. The villa was located right by the ocean, which was amazing.- Hotel staff were always super friendly and welcoming.- Fun entertainment available at the hotel bar, like pool and table football.

- Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the food at the hotel at all. - While breakfast is included in the price, be aware that cappuccinos or café lattes come at an extra charge.- The owner keeps several cats in cages near the pool, which was quite sad to see.- The hotel is quite remote with no shops or bars nearby – something to keep in mind when planning.- The gym is very small, so not ideal if you’re looking for a proper workout space.

Room was really comfortable. Liked the lighting, and pillows were comfy. Staff go out of the way to help you. The live band is great too! Drinks were inexpensive.

The hotel keeps rooster which were crowing from 4am! It was bad for my sleep. Good thing i had ear plugs with me.

A very recommendable hotel to stay…. Sea sport guys are so friendly too, a lot of activities that no need to go to other places….. from food to activities everything is great…. Room are okay

The sea view is exceptional and the staff service was excellent. Breakfast was pretty decent, simple but enough to fill you up. I liked the complimentary tea session as well.

The bathtub ran out of hot water pretty quickly so it was lukewarm water overall and we could not soak for too long - had to keep boiling water separately to pour in and ensure that it is not too cold.

Nice clean pools, next to beach. Good buffet dinner for 200000 rupiah. Nice lounge area.

Beach was full of trash unfortunately…The heat in shower wasn’t working, and the bed was too firm it hurt our backs.

I like how the security, buggy drivers and housekeeping is so pleasant and nice. They always smile and greet us whenever we see them.

We had a restful stay during the holidays, but the resort could definitely some updates. Our villa had visible cracks on the walls that seemed to have been left unattended, very deem lighting and the floor drain for the bathtub wasn’t working properly. Additionally, our villa (No. 811) was directly exposed to loud waves, which made it quite challenging to get a good night’s sleep.The reception team could have handled these issues better. Instead of offering a solution, such as transferring us to a different villa, they didn’t seem too concerned about our feedback.Service at the bar and restaurant was also a bit underwhelming. The staff were quite slow, and some interactions felt less than welcoming, which was disappointing.One of the biggest letdowns was the condition of the beach. The shoreline was quite dirty, and instead of being properly cleaned, the trash was just gathered at the side. We were hoping to relax on the sand, but that wasn’t really possible. Additionally, the beach needed to be accessed thru flights of stairs which will be challenging for those with limited mobility.Overall, while we did have a relaxing time, the resort could benefit from some improvements in maintenance and service to truly enhance the guest experience.

Location, price, and staff.Polite, friendly, and helpful.

No hooks in rooms, nowhere to hang towels n clothes. Poor lighting in rooms. Window blinds are very dirty.

The property is clean and well-maintained. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and air-con works well. The breakfast menu is wide enough, quality is quite standard. The egg station can be improved to provide omelette with onions, tomato, cheese, etc.

Hotel management and staff attitudes towards to the customers especially not transparent at all with hear says and unreliable rules without notification and / or proper communication

Hotel manager and receptionist attitude are worse ever seeing in my life. One is saying another rule and another didn’t know about it. It is totally a joke and no control over customers and their own comforts, as well as their feelings

1) Villa - the place is run-down, it'll be ideal if it's renovated. The aircon leaking, wet the extra bed in the room. The TV reception is bad, snow flakes on screen and we don't feel like staying in the resort to relax our day. 2) The resort is away from the shopping places, it take 45-55mins car ride and we spent on transportation charges, est SGD100 for mini-van (7pax) for 8hrs service.

Staff was friendly and attentive.

When the hotel/Resort was packed with visitors over the weekend the place was under staff'ed hence the support wasnt there.

Space, amenities, staff

Extremely poor air-conditioning. Central AC seems to be switched off during the day and magically works slightly better at night. Room aircon does not cool. I required a fan to avoid sweating. Suggestion to property....dont operate in auch a bad manner. You charge money for accommodation.....

the room was comfortable and the lighting made the place feel very cosy. The band was really good and the magic show was entertaining.

The shower gel provided was not sufficient. Ran out vey quickly and had to resort to using the hand soap. Also every time you take a shower the water drips out onto to the dry area. There was no body lotion provided.
