Hotel Aikawa

Although it was very quiet, I felt very welcomed and comfortable there. The property was exceptionally well kept. The staff were extremely helpful with all of my questions and treated me like a VIP, which I am generally not used to. The back garden and pool are beautiful and well kept. The food there was incredible.

Our stay at the Hotel Aikawa was amazing.The spacious rooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds.Breakfast was amazing, staff helpful especially Mr Milan who went out of his way to make our stay memorable.Mr Malin organized our safari tour which was spectacular, the village tour which is a must, especially the museum which was very interesting and the culture program in town, which was fun.Set in a peaceful location Hotel Aikawa is an easy 12 minute stroll into town.Absolutely 5 stars.Thanks Mr Milan and the team for everything.

Such a great stay at the Aikawa, from the moment we arrived at the bus park we were met by lovely hotel staff offering us a free transfer to the hotel, to the moment they dropped us off again they could not do enough for us to ensure we had a pleasant staff. Food was also excellent and the safari with Raj, all organized and booked through the hotel left us with memories to cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommend

This hotel is excellent! I was greeted with a welcome drink, cookies, and a room upgrade upon my arrival. The room was fantastic, super clean, and very spacious. The staff was superb. They were super friendly, helpful, and always smiling and saying hello. The location was excellent and within walking distance of a lot of the major sites. I highly recommend this hotel!

The only thing the hotel could improve on were their pillows. They were super stiff!

This was a lovely, quiet clean hotel to rest in after our day of safari. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and communicated well with us about our pick up when our flight was delayed. Bed was comfy. Buffet breakfast had good variety and the coffee was good. We ate one evening at the hotel and were impressed with food options and quality.

Super friendly staff making real effort seeing guests are comfortable during their entire stay.The hotel is located on just 10-15 min walking distance from the touristic center of Sauraha. They offer a convenient and free shuttle services from and to the main touristic bus stops connecting Chitwan to other touristic hubs in Nepal.The hotel offers facilities such as a swimming pool, garden bar, a gym, table tennis and badminton for guests to enjoy. We enjoyed the breakfast service.Price/quality ratio is excellent, we highly recommend this place to discover beautiful Chitwan National Park!

The hotel was all that we were looking for after trekking multiple days in the Himalaya. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The restaurant offered formidable dishes, particularly Nepali and Indian. The staff were always kind and helpful. We were happy that all activities in the NP could be booked directly in the hotel on short notice.

Have never experienced such great hospitality in many many years of travelling. Melan, Raj and all the team were so polite, helpful and always ready to offer great advice

Amazing hotel, and totally worth the price - had the loveliest big room with a balcony on one of the top floors, nice design, everything comfy, clean and as advertised. Not many other guests when I was staying over, so felt very private. Staff were great, very attentive but not overbearing. Pretty landscaped grounds. Great breakfast. Airport transfer was also included. Hotel has their own guide who can help with various excursions / lead you on the walks, etc.

Hotel manager Mr.Milan is excellent.He can arrange everything even thoug our requests is not for hotel's optional programmes.So kind person and he help us so much.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Aikawa. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the safari tours with Raj the in-house guide and saw rhinos on the day I arrived! The rooms are clean and spacious and the food in the restaurant was really tasty.

An amazing place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you - from the staff at reception, the staff in the restaurant, the cleaning staff and the pick up and drop off at the airport. We had a fantastic time with Raj our guide - full day jeep safari, river canoe and walk. Raj is very knowledgeable and experienced. I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Aikawa and hiring Raj as your guide.

Beautiful hotel with very welcoming staff. Our group loved the safari jeep, walk, and canoe tours led by Raj, who is very knowledgeable. Milan was so friendly and had wonderful stories. We loved the restaurant, the rooms, and the spa. Would definitely stay again!

First of all, the staff were very friendly. The 24 hours service was exceptional. I was greeted by Mr. Hari Sapkota, such a professional and friendly guy. Food was delicious, especially the buffet breakfast. Talking about the room I got, it was spacious and the garden view was lovely.

The size of the Pillow, not that comfortable. I'd recommend the management team to get a normal sized pillow as well.

Billing Process: An administrative oversight during checkout resulted in a missing amount, requiring payment reprocessing. While resolved, this type of inconvenience should be prevented at a four-star property.Room Maintenance: The bedding carried a noticeable tobacco odor, suggesting the need for improved attention to the cleaning process or review of cleaning products used.

The Aikawa staff is key to the **** experience. Reception, cleaning staf, people in the restaurant, drivers and the house naturist. We can say they are warm, attentive, proffesionals, simply fantastic. We hope management can see and values these people who are working long shifts and being very loyal as the key asset.Hotel is modern and well equiped. A wonderfull gardenThe restaurant is good and has enough different choices.Rooms are clean with nice interiors. Toiletteries are durable and you recieve a lot.We loved the trips and the fact you could make the arrangements in the hotel. Whatever you request they make it happen.When you are out in town and want to return they send someone to pick you up.Communication is always friendly and swift. By Whatsapp you can ask whatever you want and receive a reaction very quickly.We stayed 3 nights. We booked the day jeep tour, canou trip and jungle walk. We saw a lot of wildlife thanks to the fantastic hotel guide and driver.. We enjoyed several meals.The hotel arranged also our transfer back to Kathmandu. Everything was tip top..

For us it was perfect. Ofcourse a hotel cannot be flawless. It depends on your standards what you experience. We found it a bit funny to find a light weight plastic toiletseat in luxury hotel. But it seems toilet seats are like that in most hotels in Nepal. The bidet shower was not working because of low water pressure. The normal shower worked fine and consist of a rainshower and handshower. Please disregard any minor issue. This hotel is great for a short or long stay and gives you a great experience in Nepal.
