Hotel Riverside With Swimming Pool

This is a nice location, grounds were manicured, the breakfast was nice, staff was helpful at time, the pool looked refreshing

We had construction during visit so noisy, neighbors partied hard day and night, had to call security, issues with air conditioning and TV, finally got heater to work, chilly, pool was to cold to swim, room was antiquated, place need some love

I really liked the breakfast it had a good variety and was fresh. The location was excellent, right by the Rapti River and very close to Chitwan National Park, making it easy to explore the area.

The location was great! Loved getting to see the river and the outside areas of the location were beautiful. The check in process was smooth and the front office staff was helpful

The rooms were in bad shape. The floor was ripped up in many places and the heaters and hot were were not working in both rooms we booked. The manager also threatened to call the police when we tried to check out and leave early. He said he would call the police if we left a bad review because we would be "blackmailing". This is actually illegal in Nepal and I was shocked by his poor behaviour.

For an additional fee, my room was upgraded to a room with a river view. Overall, the room was good. Staff was responsive. Breakfast was good. I saw a rhinoceros from the hotel grounds, which an employee kindly showed me.

The hotel is located further away from the river, but you can see it from the window. The view of the river and the sunset is blocked by the building with the blue roof that is under construction in the photo. I didn't use the swimming pool because the water is too cold.

We chose this hotel because of the AC in the rooms, which was definitely a life-saver in this humid area. We were upgraded to a better room because of off-season and some construction that was going on. Some of the staff members were really friendly and helpful and we could add one more night for the same discounted price. They made us packed breakfast because we had to leave early. The pool was nice. The location is good.

The shower area was on the same level as the toilet so that the floor around the toilet remained wet for a long time. Also on the second night, we had some bugs in the room, which wasn't that pleasant but partly understandable with the location being on the riverside in such a humid area.

Enjoyed the stay, staff is attentive. They pick me up at the bus station and the pool is chill.

I like how we get complimentary pick up and drop from the tourist bus stop. Lifts off unnecessary thinking for transport in the area, I so appreciate it.The place is in the main road and 2 minutes walk to the river and safari tour point. The room is huge, woody and with log design that adds up to the cabin feels in the wild. It has a good balcony where you can enjoy a lovely view of the sunset by the river which is also perfect for slow morning and late night talks. They have nice pool and huge breakfast with a garden view.But what stood out is how the staff is very pleasant and friendly. They sure made a good impression on how welcoming they are on their guests.

We stayed on one of their older property which needs improvement on facilities but they have newer rooms which are available if you prefer. Some power interruptions in mid evening maybe 5-10 mins given the area is rural part of Nepal.

Pros: Beautiful location, clean rooms, lovely and clean pool and very friendly staff.

Cons: They support elephant riding and unethical elephant activities. We did not know this until we booked and arrived. We were very disappointed to see this. Elephants are chained up all day until they are forced to give tourists rides. They are constantly abused.

Poor service, for 3 days noone entered the room to lok after towels or garbage.

My stay was too short

The swimming pool made our stay perfect as the weather was too hot. The staff were very useful, there was a problem with the hot water shower and they didn't hesitate to upgrade our room. Breakfast was fantastic compared to other hotels'. The location was perfect, just next to the park safari gate and by the river. The sunset from the river side of the hotel was superb. All excellent, we really liked this hotel!

Nice gardens, very comfortable double room with view, swimming pool, very helpful, attentive staff. And in a great location near the Rapti R.

This hotel really was so much better than we expected.Staff were all very friendly, well-trained, and super helpful. They recommended and arranged all our safari activities too so our trip was completely stress-free.The location also blew our expectations as it was way better than what we saw in the pictures. It's located at a pretty quiet area with lots of little places in the hotel where you can sit back and relax. I really liked that you can walk all the way to the river from inside the hotel area.

Lovely hotel on the river, staff were friendly and knowledgeable, picked us up from the bus station and organised tours for us for safaris etc.

This is common especially in tourist areas, but there is a mark up on tours and transfers if you book through the hotel, if you're budget savvy shop around, if you don't mind paying a small amount more then the hotel was excellent at organising

Excellent rooms, excellent pools, excellent service

The staff is very nice, everybody cares that you feel good. The food eas very good. Location. Is perfect. The pictures are not so good, in real the hotel is much better. Best hotel we had in nepal. The pool is amazing, with very comfortable chairs/lounger. Pool is big and clean and with the 40 degrees we had very necessary. Directly on the river and close to the city. Would definitely come back there.

The shower in the room didn't work very well and it could have been a bit cleaner. But since the rest was so much better than expected we didn't care. If you ask, they offer to drop you off at the bus station - we found out too late but now we know;)

The pool was nice, since it was pretty hot when we were there, but the pool is not heated so be prepared for a cold dip. The grounds were really well maintained, lots of gardens and trees. A rhino wandered through the hotel grounds at dawn one morning we were there (both amazing and terrifying). The staff was very helpful and made sure our excursions were booked and our transportation was sorted out.

The bathroom was functional but could use some updating, and the screens on the windows had some holes that let mosquitoes in to our room. (There is air conditioning, so you could just leave the windows closed and be just fine, but my husband and I prefer fresh air at night so this was a detractor for us.)

It was in a prime location, near to all the attractions.

Though bathroom fittings were new, the overall impression of bathroom was just average. Old rusted door backside, broken lock at bathroom etc.
