Beach access is perfect. Wonderful ambience and courteous staffs. The sea food eatery near the beach kokomo was wonderful. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

Bath tubs in the rooms are not suitable for senior citizens. South indian Breakfast was oily and not satisfactory however north indian food in the breakfast was ok

Way too hyped for the money they charge. Rooms were good and cleanliness was maintained. They are only concerned about the money they earn from shoots and not really about the guests.

Bluetooth operation of switch boards was tricky. Pool was extremely horrible with formation of moss and there is NO staff to help or monitor at the pool. When we enquired one staff was rude and said everything is at your own risk and even declined to fill air in our child's tube that we got. The hi-tea was extremely horrible, with stale kara sev and crushed rusks. Compared to other good 4 or 5 star hotels, this tea was very bad to say the least.

Good Location, Service, and Architecture.

1) I had booked a twin bed room, however when I reached there I was told that wasn't the case even though I had the email confirmation and given a single bed room. While the room was good, but it was more like a honeymoon suit, with open bath tub area and it didn't really work out as I had come with my parents 2) I had come for a day with my Parents, and I was taking a picture of them at the beach with my DSlR, and I was immediately stopped by a staff, saying no camera photography is allowed in the beach and that I needed to take special package for that. Now this is nowhere mentioned on their site, and the funny thing is it wasn't even a private beach (this was mentioned in board before you enter the beach). This was a complete mood ruiner and not expected.

The staff were courteous and very helpful. The food was great.

It needs a little sprucing up I understand it is due for major renovation

Good property close to the beach but there was construction on my floor which was annoying. Food was okay no issues.

The spa was understaffed and we could not experience any therapeutic massage unfortunately.

The bath is lovely sunken into the floor and really big, nice to have a beach but it’s not for swimming in , it’s a rough sea The swimming pool was large and clean

Intercontinental review

The 4 star hotel now looks a little tired, maintenance is overdue, although the comfort is still up to 4 star expectations.In peak seasons some rooms are now not super clean, had to ask for a change of room.The Spa and restaurants are still amazing.

* F&B needs a major overhaul. Just not the standard you'd expect from an InterContinental.* Recreation facilities were downright silly - ATV, bicycles, indoor room all were just sub par.* Most rooms have terrible views. Those on Ground floor are just boxes with no outlet despite facing the pool.* Was difficult to charge EV here. No super charger (unlike Marriott properties) and even the slow charger was half the usual speed due to voltage.The hotel is full of missed opportunities.

The attitude of the house keeping and the breakfast concierge. The kettle and the cups in the rooms were dirty and property seriously needs renovation.

Restaurant is fantastic with variety of dishes.Some times serving takes more time.Room Rates are little bit higher.Overall ,it is a nice experience

The food served at Kokomino is not upto the mark and taking too much delay.Needs improvement.

The location is excellent. The beach is nice and clean. The front desk staff is very cooperative and considerate. Live music at high tea was very pleasant and good. The pond has too much algae deposition which should be cleaned periodically.

The service at the shack is very slow. The staff was hesitant to join tables for a bigger party. The housekeeping services need to be improved. The rooms are not cleaned properly (no wet mopping) by the housekeeping staff and fresh towels are not kept promptly. We had to ask for fresh hand towels multiple times. The snacks at high tea need to improve. Food is grossly overpriced.
