Essentia Premier Hotel Chennai OMR

Property was really good and am a regular customer.

I booked for me and my co-worker. She entered the property after me and the receptionist asked what is the purpose of the visit and multiple unwanted questions .. and said only 2 hours for visitors .. I don’t like this kind of behavior from the receptionist.

Location was good in the OMR. Stay was comfortable

Despite being on one of the top floors, a lot of noise was still coming into the room, making it quite loud

Location and friendly staff.The restaurant is good for occasional dinners. Though food is not good for long term stay.

Parking is too much of a trouble for a long SUVs

The staff were extremely helpful. I really appreciate and thank them for making the stay pleasant.

Very neat and clean. Peaceful all time. Staffs are very decent and friendly nature as well as helpful. Dining is fantastic especially dining supervisors assisted lot.

I FOUND AT REQUIRED LOCATION . STAFF ON RECEIPTION ARE VERY HUMBLE

SINCE THIS IS UNDER CONSTRUCTIN AND NO LIFT AND HAVE TO GO BY STAIR ON 2ND FLOOR ,ROOMS ARE DAMPED AND STINKING SMELL.. THIS MAY NEED TO MAINTAIN PROPERLY .

Breakfast had a whole lot of desi and International favourites. The live dosa/pancakae/poratta/omlete counter was the highlight. The food was tasty. The ambience was uplifting and staff were also good. Room and bathroom were relatively spacious with adequate infrastructure.

While checking in, they were searching for my booking. I believe there was no intimation to hotel even though I showed booking.com voucher. Took a long time to allocate us a room. The room was similar to one booked, but was not cleaned properly. The bathroom drainage was not working and the water was stagnant. Had to call house keeping to rectify this. Toiletries were not kept. Coffee powder and sugar was missing. These things we take for granted were missing. For each, need to call housekeeping.Had to wait for a long time to receive dinner after ordering - in room dining. The quantity of food was very less and not value for the price. Taste could have been better.

The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous, making my experience seamless from check-in to check-out. I arrived around midnight, and the team swiftly allotted my room without any hassle. The next day, I had a meeting and requested a late checkout by an hour, and they gladly accommodated my request. A special thanks to Urvashi and Edwin for their exceptional hospitality!

That said, the room was quite small, and there was a foul smell in the toilet. Additionally, the A/C duct was quite noisy, which could be improved. However, the bed was like sleeping in the clouds—neat, comfortable, and very well made.

Staff were friendly and behaved professionally when I interacted with them via bookings.com. They were kind enough to allow me to extend my stay a few hours late, on the day of my checkout, since mt flight was later at the night. Food ordered were quickly dispatched and staff at the restaurant were super friendly. Especially a lovely girl called Annen. Front office Sakthi and Manish and the manager were helpful too.

Our room was facing right in front of the main road and was noisy but if you’re ok with this, like me, Then, you will have a good chance of seeing the hustle and bustle of the people’s lifestyle in this part of Chennai. Which clearly was not an issue for me, but if you are looking for quiet spot then request one, you might get a room further away from the street.

A wonderful room and a splendid breakfast buffet that was rich and delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Along side a busy road though I couldn’t hear this inside.

The staff support was great, very nice breakfast.Room cleanliness and facilities are equal to 4 Star category, they have a very good restaurant "Fishermans warf" breakfast is served there, lunch dinner available but its pretty costly, other options around the Hotel aslso available.If you have business in WTC + 10 KMS around, this hotel is a very good choice.

Housekeeping they do not fill the room ammenities properly, we need to call the support team for that.I don't know, it is whose mistake, maybe Hotel Management they instruct the house keeping for cost cutting.

No hot water for 3 days. We called the staff and they managed to coax out some hot water in the middle of the day, but by the time we attempted a shower there was again no hot water.

I don’t have enough words to describe the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff from check-in to check-out. I booked this hotel for three nights with my wife, and every staff member—from the receptionist, dining, and housekeeping teams to the bellboy and security—was incredibly friendly. Their communication in both Tamil and English was excellent.During lunch, I requested a fruit juice, but at that moment, there was none available. However, a dining staff member (I forgot her name—she was a fair girl wearing glasses) went out of her way to provide outstanding service. Thank you, sister—I will never forget your kindness.Also, a special thanks to the "Sandwich Brother." On the first day, we had a language barrier, but by the time I checked out, you became a good friend.After check-out, the manager was very supportive and allowed us to keep our luggage in a safe room.A heartfelt thank you to the entire team! Can't evaluate the place, they canceled my reservation 8 hours before check-in with a far-fetched excuse. I had to urgently look for another place with 2 rooms available, which was not easy.

Service staff were very friendly and responsive. All the facilities in the room were very clean and well maintained.
