Hot water showers, staff, location to the airport. Room service meals.

We stayed 3 nights and didn’t get rubbish remover each day until we asked, had to buy our own water daily and room was not serviced. Maybe request a room away from the stairs and noisy peopleComing and going wake you up (not the hotels fault).

Large enought a room! The bed was excellent, and I must say, after 7 days/nights in Tamil Nadu, beds are always excellent. Some people seem to complain they are too hard or too soft, but I say, having sometimes slept on steel-hard beds e.g. in China, here in TN, the softenss is optimal. And great size - you can sleep sideways! :) The location was great from the airport but amazingly, no less than half an hour from downtown, So you have the glass half full - if you need to get to the airport early, stay here! Moreover, the initially chaotic looking like 200 businesses around do include at least a dozen very competitive tasty if basic restaurants, so you can always fall back on these. I did not manage to research during one night stay better concentrations of restaurants in downtown area. They also booked a reasonably priced car to Mamallapuram (1600 INR if I remember correctly) - this was on Jan 29, 2025, about.

No real windows with outside view - but again, I haven´t had those in India so far. What is it? Importantly, I cannot say anything really negative.

the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. however they will arrange food from outside if requested. there are number of eateries nearby where one can go to have a meal.Rooms were clean and overall maintenance is good. had no issues with AC or the geyser

I was asked to pay the whole bill upfront just after checking in. this was not mentioned in the prior communications

We wanted a budget hotel close to the airport as we had to be at the airport by 5am and Kings Palace was just right for that. Staff were very helpful organising transfer to and from the airport and advice on navigating the city. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from The Hilton were we went for dinner - they provide an excellent international buffet for £23 per person. Expensive for India - very reasonable for UK!

The location was convenient, but the approach road was dirty with puddles of water.

Surroundings were very dirty, room itself was passable, staff were courteous.

Location is near to the metro station and bus station if you travelling to Pondicherry. Nuebus stop is 5 min walking from this property.

Fantastic location for Ekatuthangal Bus Stop and for the airport. The staff were very helpful in answering my questions before I arrived and were very welcoming on arrival. The room was comfortable and had a kettle, tea and coffee and hot water. The air conditioning worked well. Everything needed for an overnight stop en route to the airport.

I only stayed for one night prior to catching a flight so did not explore the local area.

The location was excellent for us, as it is really close to our office in Chennai. The staff was really nice and always ready to help. The room was quite comfortable (including the bed and pillows) and had most of the things we needed. We were given bottled water and fresh towels every day, which was really nice. The street where the hotel is located doesn't look as good, but it is safe and really close to other shops and restaurants.

I was missing two things - a mini fridge (but we managed without it anyway) and a shelf in the bathroom where we could put our stuff. The rest was really good, no other complaints.

Place is very close to Ekkattuthangal Metro station having lots of eating places around. The staff is friendly and helpful.

There is no restaurant within and you are dependent on swiggy and Zomato for your food or stepping out. Also, the hotel is located in a small lane which makes it difficult to locate and park a car if you have one along

No surprises. The place is clean, friendly and comfortable. Good bed, good size room and everything works. Great option for spending the night near the airport.

It is a short way down a side street that can be a bit uncomfortable to walk at night for someone new to Chennai but it's perfectly safe.

Bedsheets were really bad. Fans had dust on it and bathrooms could have been more clean

I liked everything about the hotel. The room, its size, cleanliness, etc.

The parking! Even though I managed to park in the front, the space was soooo crammed, that it was so difficult to manoeuvre to park.The lane to the hotel! Very crammed and difficult to get to the entrance.

Parking area is good , but approach is very difficult to reach. Too small road.

Management is efficient and kind. Hotel location is very close to metro station. Price is ok. Hotel is clean and well maintained.

They proposed twin beds instead of a single bed. Which was very nice, but just behind the window of the room there was this bright neon light 'kings palace'....

Great hotel not too far from Chennai airport. Staff very helpful and rooms clean and modern.

The property was new , well maintained and furnished and had good WiFi connection.

The hotel looks new, it's clean and tidy, our double room is of decent size. It is located in a small lane approx. 30 metres from the main road, hence lot quieter.A bus stop for the frequent a/c government bus to Mahabalipuram (Mamallapuram) and Pondicherry is opposite the main road, very convenient although we needed to ask people at the bus stop to flag down the right bus for us. Alternatively, it's a short uber ride to the bus terminal. It's also just a short uber ride to the airport. A metro station is less than 5 minutes walk, although we only travelled around by uber since it's very affordable. A number of restaurants and local eateries on the main road, Hyders Biryani is a good mid range restaurant, the local joint at the corner sells freshly cooked snacks at super cheap price.The hotel manager is very kind, friendly and attentive, he provided useful tour and transportation information, and tried his best to help.Just a note, not a complaint:The hotel is closer to the airport than downtown, it's fine with us since uber is convenient and cheap.The neighbourhood is chaotic, untidy, dusty, noisy, it doesn't bother us as this is just typical urban Indian scene. Besides, we feel very safe even in the evening.

It would be perfect if our room has windows for natural light. Our room's small balcony looks into the homes of the adjoining building, the only use is for hanging laundry, not sitting outside. We found out later they actually have rooms with windows so maybe ask for one if you wish.

A very clean place, comfortable room and helpful staff. Only 200-300 meters from the metro so its a good place to stay.
