I had to sludge through the neighbourhood with my luggage and find the place on my own (a few streets further on). Next, the confirmation from Booking was not registered at the hotel reception. Hardly the kind of welcome one expects, coming from the airport at night.Once the room was ready, no more trouble.

Great location - just around the corner from the temple and not far from the fishing port for sunrises. I took a bike to a little local beach they recommended and it was lovely - tiny beach but great to see all the families there and try the fast food street food.

Nothing about the place was good. I stayed for the sake of the location since it was walkable distance to shops, beach and restaurants.
Room was terrible - tiny and poorly maintained. Stained and dirty sheets, pillows and such poor quality bed. I was feeling very itchy from just sleeping there for one night.Bathroom didn't even have the basic facilities - hot water was not working. It was not smelly but visibly dirty. I would never recommend anybody to stay here, especially women, elderly and children. Highly likely they will fall ill or pick up an infection.
