Value for money. Hotel and room looks good (overall). Great location in terms of main road and accessibility to transport. 10 mins away to major city hubs.
Simple things are missing. Dental Kit has no paste. Has Shampoo but no conditioners. Wardrobe looks good from outside but is only plywood from inside. Overall, value for money but can do better.
Limited spread breakfast and it was okay. The location is excellent. Just within a walking distance from Egmore Railway Station. Very convenient if you travel by train. The check-in is 2.00 pm. But, they do give rooms for early check-in for an additionl cost. Our train arrived at 5.15 am and we got rooms.

The staff is under pressure. Inspite of Booking Room after interaction with Room Division manager and reconfirmation with reception, they did not reserve the room. Before my reaching hotel in night 11pm, they told they are SOLD OUT and no room is available. Later they did not response to phone call.

Rooms were good. Stebin Raj needs special mention. His house keeping and services were good. Breakfast was just about okay. It could improve by a few more items.
The front office reception. The staff were good , but with serious face. Not courteous look. When as a guest , I smile and try to look pleasant, the reception staff wore a very serious look , a bored and tired look as if not welcoming us

Run down place. AC is switched off in the night and turned on. I guess they do this to save electricity bill. People don't realise the AC is switched off until they start sweating in their sleep. This happens every night. Switches and buttons not functioning. Flush knob so hard had to literally kick to get it to work. Stayed in the suite, but cannot call it a suite. Disappointing.
Arriving in Chennai, tired after an overnight flight, we were originally booked into a different hotel from this one. Being unhappy with the previous accommodation, we left and booked into Fortel and were relieved to experience comfort and excellent service from the Fortel staff.

If you have an online booking they will keep you waiting till their check in time that is 2oclock inspite of rooms being available and they keep on allotting it to direct booking guestThis was really very irritating and tiresome after a long travel some how in my opinion very unprofessional as it's not possible to have flights as per their check in time, specially when you are traveling from a long distance
Can do better
The non smoking floor smelt of smoke, the switches in the room were broken and the plug points were bad. Any request took over hours to process, basic amenities in the bathroom weren't provided. It's not a bad hotel, just not worth the price that was charged.
