Breakfast is so nice. All the staff helped me lot. The lady Manager is good. She helped me lot. All the staffs from the Gate,Receptionist,Cleaners. Staffs is in the rest room

Near the reception there is only one toilet. That has to be expanded

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and courteous.

The breakfast room was crowded and we had to wait for a table. You can consider a bigger area

Over priced for the facilities. Lift was used for customer as well as for hotel maintenance. Long queues to enter buffet breakfast.

The room was really clean and adequately spacious. The breakfast was quite good for the price we paid. The staff was exceptional.

The room is super noisy. We don't know if it was the AC compressor but it was noisy 24/7 which was not convenient.

We booked two rooms at The Residency Chennai and had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and cozy, with a lovely view of the city. The location is also convenient—close to local markets and with rickshaws readily available just outside, making it easy to get around.Breakfast was included in our booking. It was good overall, but a bit more variety would have made it even better.What really stood out was the excellent service. Anil and Richa at the reception desk were extremely helpful and welcoming, with great attitudes that made us feel at home. Ramamurthy, the porter, was friendly and attentive, and Krishnan at the restaurant was incredibly helpful during our meals.Overall, a solid choice for a stay in Chennai—comfortable, well-located, and made even better by the team’s warm hospitality.

Some parts of the hotel outdated.

Location. Central to everything.

Cleanliness. The DND button means nothing. You still have staff knocking or ringing the bell constantly. Room was average. Bathroom was old and not clean. Shower didn’t have water for 2 days. However, the front desk team were quick to respond to other concerns.

The Facility, cleanliness, staff and location

The food choices are very limited especially during breakfast.It will be out of choice for those staying more than 2 night.Recommend to have more staff during breakfast to handle the crowd.

Friendly, clean and pleasant hotel. Easy to grab tuk tuk or taxi to centre and beaches.Nice breakfast and any issues were dealt effortlessly.

Turned away from hotel claiming no booking received from Booking.com

We were turned away! Hotel claimed they were booked out and it’s an error on the part of Booking.com. There were other guests at the reception who faced the same problem. We had to make last minute bookings elsewhere.

Overall the hotel meets the expectation and the facilities are amazing including room, breakfast and restaurants. Staffs are very professional.

Hospitable staff and great location

The dining area does not accommodate for all guests during breakfast and if you are to wait to get a seat, the kitchen does not wait.

Excellent location, right in the centre or Chennai.Caring and attentive staff. Special mention for Front Desk Executive, Indira who ensured we get adjacent rooms as a family.Well maintained rooms although a bit dated.Excellent F&B options in the property.

The rooms need some refresh as the property is old.

Very nice hotel in the center of everything

The hotel staff is under trained. They charged 3 times to the credit card for the same invoice . Not able to resolve the issue as the management team is not responding ?

Overrated property

The facilities. The bathrooms were shabby and rooms congested. The shower and wifi didn't work.

Very friendly staff and good food in the restaurants . The Chinese restaurant chin chin food are excellent and nice ambiance. We also have lunch buffet at the pavilion restaurant. The starters are plentiful and tasty especially the fried fish.

The bathroom shower floor are slippery and special care is needed to prevent accidental falls. Temperature control in the room are not working

It was helpful during a tough situation but i expected more

The bathroom was very outdated. With chips in the wall and the shower was just old. It needs to be cleaned and limescale needs to be addressed.
