The hotel is in very good location, Bus Stop is right in the front door. The hotel is clean, has everything you need, including hot water, tea, microwave oven, drink vending machine. The owner is very nice to their customers.

The Wi-Fi is on and off often inconsistent. This is the only minor problem. When it’s on, the speed is fast.

The staff was very responsive and friendly, making sure our stay was wonderful. Pension Berg is located short walks from Rhythm and .Base lodge so getting from rentals to lift was very convenient. Great breakfast! Truly a great experience!

The owner was a lovely kind lady who said good morning or hello every time we saw her. While the property was not new it was kept so clean and tidy it felt new. The lady always seemed to be working so hard!

It wasnt an issue but the beds werent the most comfortable.

Ideal location in central Hirafu. Walking distance to lifts and restaurants. I had a western style room that was very comfortable and warm. Tasty cooked breakfast included a combination of western and Japanese items. Toilet and shower facilities were shared, but immaculately clean and modern. Very friendly staff!

The breakfast was a nice mix and excellent value. Comfy lounge area. The location is amazing (cut through directly across the road to the ski run) very close to dinner/bar options and convenience stores. The owner/host, Miwa, is absolutely lovely, very welcoming and helpful. I took advantage of ski rental delivery. Very nice to have the small onsen. Stunning view of Mt Ytei, if youre lucky.

A lamp in the room would be nice for a softer lighting option than the very bright main light. Recommend bringing a head torch or collapsible camping lamp for extended stay. Shared shower worth it for the price.

Great breakfast and a way to ski down to the Ace #1 lift by going through the parking lot across the street. The location was perfect with easy access to all the Hirafu restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. The road and sidewalk in front has snowmelt so no heavy snow walking boots necessary. The staff/owners are awesome. We will definitely come back.

If you are tall, take care. Easy to bang your head on a few low doorways.

Location was amazing and so convenient to access the lifts and the town. We were treated by the owner so well! She helped with anything and everything we needed, especially with my partners injury. Would 100% reccomend to anyone who wants to feel like a local in Niseko.

this is a fantastic place to stay. perfect location, delicious and large breakfast (prepared by the owner's son), and just a wonderful vibe all around. the owner went out of her way to make us feel at home and help us book transportation back to Sapporo. we couldn't have done it without her!

Very conveniently located in Niseko. Close to the slopes, comfy beds. The onsen on-site was quite unique of an experience.

The WiFi was spotty at times.

An excellent and homely lodge that is ran by a friendly and considerate owner. Recommend you do not pre-book any rentals as they can provide a much more competitive price with delivery and pick-up directly to the lodge. The Onsen was a life-saver after a day of skiing and fantastic value compared to other far more expensive options in Hirafu. Public and shared facilities were maintained to an impeccable level of cleanliness.

The location is great, walking distance to everything. Nice and healthy breakfast prepared daily. Very clean facilities and accommodation. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful.

This place is ridiculously cozy & checked all the boxes for a perfect stay! Plus they really went out of their way to help me get to my next location - including calling the bus companies to make reservations. It's not luxurious but that wasn't what I needed. Cozy and convenient to get to snowboarding, it was great!

Good location close to family lift and resturants. Staff were fantatic, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Rooms, bathrooms and toliets were spotlessly clean. Had a small onsen too!

I guess walls and doors were bit too thin so could hear people walking in the morning or at night. Also WIFI was not always optimal

Absolutely one of the best places I've stay at Niseko!! The location is amazing for what you pay, right on the main road that takes you up to the welcome centre , i walked from the bus drop off to the pension berg. From the door of the board room to the quad chair is about a 6 -7 minute walk and to the gondola is about a 10 - 11 minute walk, perfect if you want to head to different locations on the mountain. The staff were fantastic and so helpful and very kind. Plenty of toilet on all levels and a gorgeous onsen for both males and females. There's a conveniences store right around the corner. Everything you need for your holiday is under 10 minutes of walking. Would 100% come back to the Berg!

Beds were a bit uncomfortable but still good.
