    Pros +

    • The room is spacious and extremely clean. And the staffs reject any tips even they really give awesome service. I think all of the hotel (especially in the US) should learn from Japanese hotel.
    • Next to the lake and convinient store. Able y on see the fireworks at night. Have hot spring.

    Cons -

    • There're so many kind of cuisine to choose for buffet. But it tastes kinda insipid.
    • The room was extremely outdated, with very dim lighting that felt oppressive—almost like entering a slum. The service was very average, and some hotel staff were quite rude; they wouldn’t even respond when you greeted them. My husband also found a clump of long hair in the public hot spring, which made us seriously question the cleanliness standards. We booked two nights but wanted to leave after the first night. I strongly advise others not to choose this hotel—it was extremely disappointing.
    • The staff.

Clean room, great location, and nice view! The outdoor hot spring was very impressive with a large Mt. and lake view. ??️ Breakfast was delicious, also had variety of options.

The room view is superb and facing the Lake Toya. Onsen is good. The package comes with half board with very good buffet variety for breakfast and dinner.

    7TangPosted on: 4-2-2025

ROOM NOT TOO SMALL , DINNER AND BREAKFAST IS GOOD , AND VIEW IS VERY GOOD

ONSEN IS GOOD BUT NOT FRIENDLY WITH TOURIST WITH TATTOO, IF CAN CHANGE THIS RULE I BE VERY THANKFUL AND ENJOY MORE HAPPY , NOT ALL TATTOO PEOPLE IS YAKUSA OR BAD .

Buffet dinner and breakfast got many variety

No smart door lock still using physical key to open n close door; No control age to enter onsen, many child inside and noise, cant really relax inside onsen

    10PiangPosted on: 3-21-2025

Buffet breakfast and dinner have a lot of options. Our room got an unblocked view of Mount Yotei however it was not visible during our stay due to weather conditions. Onsen bath on 8F of west building has amazing view of the lake and Mount Yotei. Overall good value for money.

Toilet in the room is a bit small.

Location was good, breakfast and dinner had a good variety

No assistance to assist in helping with my luggage and I had to push everything while my partner took the car to carpark.Hotel was very dated. Room had to use key to open and lock.

    9ShaoboPosted on: 3-17-2025

All inclusive buffet was superb as well as the hot spring

The ground was not quite level in our room which gave a weird feeling.

    9Lin-chingPosted on: 3-2-2025

The dinner, breakfast and the spring place are really nice.

    9Gerfried F.Posted on: 2-26-2025

Great variety and more than sufficient

The onsen and the view from the house and the walkway along the lake

    5CeciliaPosted on: 2-24-2025

Location was fantastic, right by the lakeside, and the main street with shops and restaurants just outside the hotel. Bus stop to Mt Usu also just outside the hotel. Bonus to see the Winter Illumination Tunnel just opposite the hotel. Great view of the lake from the hotel. Nice interior design of the hotel and nice cafe in hotel. Big souvenir store for topping up gifts.

Many tour groups stay here, very crowded in dining hall and onsen. Huge dining hall with good buffet selection but felt very mass market due to the big number of guests. Guest rooms look functional with no decoration. Was given the ground floor despite request for a high floor having paid more for a lakeview room

    9DuangjaiPosted on: 2-23-2025

Good size room with a stunning view, very good buffet breakfast, nice onzen with the big lake view.

    10SantiPosted on: 2-18-2025

Onsen was clean and spectacular. Buffett dinner and breakfast excellent and organised very well

    Everything was perfect

    10FreddyPosted on: 2-16-2025

The hotel is beautiful. The Onsens are nice. The rooms are traditional Japanese (some with western beds). The staff is friendly.

We had a complicated issue because of a change in the rooms we wanted. The communication with the staff at the reception was complicated because they could not speak enough English and we do not speak Japanese. One day the cleaning staff forgot to do the room but after mentioning it, this was solved immediately. The restaurant was overcrowded because of the groups of tourists who have no tradition to visit Japan. This is not the fault of the hotel.

    7RachellePosted on: 2-14-2025

Buffets were amazing, great location. The onsens were lovely. Room comfortable and clean. Large bottle of water given daily.

Unable to check in until 3pm yet check out is 10am. Transport to get to and from the hotel without a car was really difficult.

    10SantiPosted on: 2-13-2025

Clean lovely hotel, staff were very helpful and fabulous, bottles of water provided each day. The breakfast and dinners were sensational, parking was easy But The onsen was the best! Best! Best!
