Lotte Resort Sokcho

The hotel had great amenities. The rooms were clean, the view of the ocean was wonderful, the bathrooms were spacious. Within the facility there was a water park, mini golf, karaoke, laundry, arcade, convenient store, multiple restaurants, hiking trail.

You have to pay to use the facilities. Everything has a fee. But you don't pay any resort fees, so I guess that is the trade off. At least you can pick and choose what you want to pay for.

despite of paying extra for ocean view suite, I was given the lowest floor of ocean view where I see the roof of the lobby + trees blocking the 1/3 of the view. You have to throw away trash yourself, dishes, and do the recycling yourself. it's like airbnb..Everything is for a cost. you're forced to buy water shoes if you want to go to their infinity pool, and kids water shoes is very expensive, and the pool access is ridiculously inconvenient. staffs were not sympathetic at all either. pool bars don't open if there's not enough customers.

The location is nice, beautiful scenery around the hotel. A nice hiking trail outside the hotel along the beach, with a trail directly through the hotel, makes it nice for a morning walk. The room was clean, comfortable bedding. The outdoor swimming pools and sauna area were very good too.

The food at the buffet was good but not exceptional or that impressive given the expensive price. The water park was partially closed, yet they charge full admission fees.

Family-friendly, walking distance to the beach, view from the room, clean, fitness center, laundry, etc.

As a foreigner yoimu cant reserve a spot for breakfast if the room is full since their systen is based on ttelephone numbers to call you but wont accept international ones. However we got a table after we complained about it.We didn't like the water park at all. Half of it waa closed. Our girl is 116cm and couldnt go onto the slide even though we vouched that she could swim. Also the wave function can only be used whilst having a swim vest and only at 1m height. We can swim really well but we had to buy a mandatory vest (even us adults)... and the entry to the park was already very expensive and nit discounted even though balf the water park is old and not functionning....

Great view from the hotel, there is a coastal trail near the hotel. Walking distance to Sokcho, beach and fishmarkets. Spacious free parking, some food options, convenience store and self service laundry at the hotel.

Staff was very helpful, but they don't speak English. No ceramic cups in the room, only carton/plastic cups, which is not convenient.

Quite new. Great location right on the ocean and close to the mountains. Very comfortable.

A bit far from bus town and no public transport

Awesome view if you have an apartment with Sokcho view. Everything is very clean. Beds for 2 people are a bit too small (stayed in a 2 bed suite). Pool is not so fantastic. There is a walk down to the beach which is very nice to walk. Breakfast ist super.

Disabled person facilities are so bad. Specially Infiniti pool, aqua pool, sauna(zzimzilbang) and public bic barh room(b2)

Expensive breakfast

Despite the weather and the fact that the restaurant we wanted to go closed at 6h30 pm, which was too early for our stomach, we had a great time in Lotte Resort, especially with the spa, the noraebang and the game zone located in the same building !

The view of the beach is fantastic from the room.

It is more like family vacation and condo facility. It is not the five star resort for a couple.

This was our second stay at this property, and it didn't disappoint. The facilities are fantastic with plenty to do, from mini golf to the arcade, and the 24-hour laundry facility was a convenient touch. Our two-bedroom condo was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast spread was impressive, with everything tasting delicious.

Nothing really!

Serene and spacious accommodation. At basement 1 of hotel, there is a convenience store, a fast food restaurant, a small game arcade, a photo booth (fun shots) and a Korean restaurant. The scenery from our room was amazing. Parking is also free and there were many lots available when we visited in Dec.

People were so nice and eager to help. The attitude and the level of knowledge about the community really made me surprised and happy
