This is an exceptional hotel, in an exceptional location, with exceptional staff, and all for a very reasonable price. I can?t find fault with anything. The room was beautiful and well-appointed, good fixtures & fittings, ample space.

From the moment you walk in, you are instantly relaxed. The combination of the music, scent, and beautiful decor creates an incredible ambience that surpasses many other hotels I've visited. The staff were outstanding, and the food was truly memorable!A particular highlight was the 8-course dinner at Takola. This was, hands down, some of the best food we have ever had!

My only minor note, which isn't truly a negative, is that I would have loved to see a bigger range of traditional dishes at breakfast. I wanted to try more, but it seemed to operate on a two-day rotation.

The food quality is generally good. The breakfast area does not have a good view. The hotel should be located in a spot with a sea view.The hot water system for bathing and soaking in the tub is excellent.

The air conditioning system should make it look more luxurious, worthy of a five-star hotel.In the shower area, the clear glass separating the zones looks quite luxurious. However, due to its transparency, there is a risk of walking into it, causing accidents and injuries. If there were a logo or decorative pattern on the glass, it would be safer.

The location of the Hotel is 90+ kms from the Airport. Heard it is typically for Scandinavian tourists as it is quiet and remote. The beaches were great, except it was the monsoon and rainy season in Thailand. There is a lagoon next to the hotel and it is a great place to relax and unwind.

The luxury offered - the exceptionally beautiful view to the sea and the lagoon from the room, the spacious suite designed for maximum comfort (two showers - that open directly to the private infinity pool) the large bathtub, the abundance of towels and slippers and flip flops to accommodate all needs, the separate “living room” with the complementary minibar- it really is a unique lovely luxurious experience. The staff (shout out to Eddy who was super helpful and forthcoming for our every request) was warm helpful and kind. The shared (public) infinity pool is a real treat and the staff there provide towels cold water and any kind of service you request - with the view to the andaman sea it is really so special and relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast was plentiful varied fresh and were a wonderful way to start the day.

The combination of this hotel’s isolation on the beach (in itself a wonderful positive - for those who enjoy quiet walks on the beach and star gazing rather than the loud dizzying over stimulation of places like Koh Samui) and the two pretentious exceedingly expensive restaurants at the hotel (in a country where the street food is SO good and SO cheap) meant that to have lunch or dinner we were charged exorbitant prices for tiny portions - all in the name of oh so elegant Michelin rated pretense of serving “nouvelle cuisine” (tiny portions on large plates decorated with flowers). So fine the service was wonderful, the choice plentiful - the prices are outrageous and based on the taste and portion size completely not appropriate. To get around this - we chose to walk 10-15 minutes along the lovely mostly deserted beach - to a nearby cluster of 3-4 lovely conventional Thai restaurants which served excellent Thai cuisine for normal prices and with the usual Thai warmth and kind service.

It was perfect! Right on the water, beautiful location and amazing pool.

You made us feel truly at home.They also prepared our meals exactly the way we like them, which was a lovely personal touch. Everything—from the setting to the atmosphere—was done with great attention to detail and true hospitality.We’ve traveled all over the world, and Devasom is honestly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommended for anyone seeking style, comfort, and a meaningful experience.

If we were to suggest one small improvement, it would be regarding the Kids Club hours. It would be wonderful if it stayed open a bit later in the afternoon—perhaps until 6 PM—and if the midday break from 12 to 1 wasn't so strictly enforced. We completely understand the need for staff to have their lunch break, but perhaps a rotating attendant could cover during that time?What we found a bit puzzling is that even parents aren't allowed to stay and play with their own children in the Kids Club during that break. We promise we wouldn’t bring the place down or cause any serious damage—we’d just love to spend a little creative time in that lovely space with our child. :)

Breakfast in general was good, not excellent. Fair selection of pastries and other food. The spaces in the patio of the restaurant were a bit constrained. The bottles of ketchup on the tables were more for a McDonald’s than for a five star hotel. Unacceptable also the absence of linen tablecloth and napkins on the breakfast tables.

What I mentioned above. The air conditioning in our bedroom was not working properly. The explanation of available attractions in the area could have been more complete.

The room, breakfast, pool & facilities, and the personal service.

We fell in love with the resort. One of our best stays we ever had. There is something for everbody. The resort is secluded, which we liked, however if you would like to explore the area, you can easlily rent a motorbike or take a free bike from the hotel. Both restaurants in the resort are exceptional (of course on the higher price range, but justicied). Rooms are cozy, modern and spotless clean. Additionally, you get as much drinking water as you like for free. Above from all that, the staff is super friendly and will do everything for you. Our stay was just perfect and for a resort of this caliber, the little details matter, which they nailed in our opinion.

pool villa was wonderful. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The location was quiet but very relaxing.

Good quick checkin. Really friendly staff, good service and clean resort. Quiet beach location with shuttle bus servcie to town.

The last shuttle bus to town was at 5pm, a bit too early, especially if you want to see the sunset on th beach at 6pm

Surely a stay to remember forever. Great location, fantastic people and beautiful suits. The hotel is beyond the imagination and the architecture is next level. We could not ask more.

Breakfast needs a bit more attention, it is not up to the level of the resort.

need to work on the gym ... its almost there is none food service response was really slow ,, althoughit was a low season and the hotel was 90 % empty.. otherwise every thing was amazing
