    Pros +

    • The decor was very traditional and the room was huge with a lovely bath and walk in shower with seat. Bed was also super King and comfortable. Although the pool and pool are were small there was never anybody there so a couple of times we had pool days due to jet lag. Staff couldn’t do enough for you.
    • This hotel is amazing. Honestly the atmosphere, architecture and very thoughtful staff made us enjoy our stay. We put do not disturb because our room was clean, but they were still so thoughtful and left toilet paper & water in front of our door. Thank you for everything!
    • Great taste level and big comfortable beds. 20 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk to the night market, and right on the main street making it easy for car pick ups. Excellent restaurant in house. Conveniences close by like 711, taxis, laundry.

    Cons -

    • Nothing!
    • Simply nothing
    • A bit pricey; $100 per night for Thailand…. also very far from the pier. $50 range would be more appropriate.

Superior Room? Only if you’re a batIf you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to sleep in a windowless bunker, look no further than the so-called “superior room” at this hotel. Yes, superior — apparently in the sense that it’s superior at trapping moisture. With zero fresh air, the place is basically a dark storage unit where your towels and swimwear remain permanently damp, musty, and mildly tragic. Claustrophobia included free of charge.Honestly, this room could just as well have been located in the basement — and for all I know, maybe it was. The staff certainly didn’t see a problem; they assured us this is “normal” for a superior room. Funny how the website forgets to mention the whole no window situation. Minor detail, I guess. That Booking.com thinks this is acceptable accommodation is… bold. Very bold.To be fair, we knew the hotel was on a busy main road. And sure, the staff being glued to their phones and the neighbors dumping trash in the hallway might just be bad luck. But a room without a window? That’s not bad luck — that’s below every imaginable standard.Stay here if you enjoy darkness, stale air, and the general ambiance of a broom closet. Otherwise: run. Preferably to a place with actual oxygen.

Really friendly staff and nice breakfast/drinksLovely decor

    Noise from the road

The hotel is truly beautiful. The staff is very friendly, decor is amazing and Michelin recommended restaurant.Highly highly highly recommended.

I just found the pillows too tall for my liking but nothing that ruins the experience.

The room overall was really pretty and had everything you would need. The bathtub looked really cool, but is really uncomfortable so was very disappointed! The WiFi is really terrible and cuts out constantly. They also didn’t try to clean our room until about 6pm when we were resting before dinner which was a shame. Breakfast was delicious. Location isn’t the best, as it’s a far walk to most places.

Lovely staff, great breakfast, large beds in clean rooms

Wide selection of drinks at breakfast, kind staff who are willing to help. The aesthetic and theme of the hotel is absolutely top-notch.

    The pool is quite small

    Comfortable bed.

Staff were very unhelpful. Not a great location. Bedroom did not have windows. Poor breakfast.

The hotel is new and clean. The facilities is very good. There is Juum-Po Thai Michelinguide restaurant at the 1st floor. We like to stay here.

There were issues - safe batteries needed changing, dodgy kettle blew out room electrics, a blocked drain in shower - but the staff dealt with all the problems quickly and with good humour.

No iron, no clothes horse to dry swimwear

One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at with lovely interior design. Spacious room, comfy bed, nice pool area, helpful staff. Plenty to choose from at breakfast for vegetarians.

    Saltwater in the pool.

Beautiful stylish hotel with an unusual Chinese-Thai theme across all of the rooms. The hotel has some fabulous vintage furniture and antique decorative touches, one of the most unique stays we’ve ever had. Rooms had plenty of storage and great air conditioning, massive shower room and lots of little touches like slippers, kimono style robes. Breakfast was Asian/Western fusion buffet with a few options each day, plus a la carte eggs and coffee. Hotel was well located, easy walk to Bang Niang market and close to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel also houses a Michelin guide restaurant, though this didn’t cater for us as vegetarians so can’t comment on the food.

As others have said, there was road noise due to the location and the open air style of corridors etc. We found it confusing that the ‘superior king rooms’ are actually smaller and less well equipped than the deluxe double rooms. The superior king rooms have no windows/balcony and no natural light at all. Some of the towels and bedding had rips in, not affecting use but detracted from the refined style.

The style of the hotel was great, and lovely garden. Staff helpful and friendly. Location good.

Breakfast was exceptional, lovely staff and comfortable rooms. Very calming and aesthetically pleasing interior.

Hotel is next to the main road and even though the windows face to the side, you could still hear the noise depending on how sensitive you are.

The hotel was beautiful, and we stayed in a room with a bathtub, which was the highlight of our experience and truly enjoyable. It is conveniently located not too far from the city center, and the staff was warm and friendly.

Clean. Great pressure + hot water in the showers. Beautiful, large room with a huge tub! Comfy bed. Great service from the staff. The in-house restaurant (apparently Michelin Star!) was excellent. Great value for the money overall.

The scenery outside of the hotel from the room is just okay, and the staff speak limited English (which was totally fine for me).
