The Haven Khao Lak

If you want to go somewhere very safe quite and very romantic this is the place. I love it here. We will be coming back at least twice a year to get away from Phuket.

The hotel is great, very quite place, near the beach (1 min walk), great swiming pool and the area around. The hotel is beautiful, the stuff is very nice, the breakfest is amazing, rich and tasty.

The staff, facilities, and comfort of the Haven are all unmatched! My wife and I came to the Haven for our honeymoon trip to Thailand. We were so excited to be upgraded to a villa room, which we truly appreciate! The staff were incredibly helpful with anything that we asked, the complimentary breakfast was an amazing way to start each day, and the amenities at the resort were all outstanding. The easy access to taxis was incredibly helpful for us to get into the town when we wanted to. We highly recommend the Haven and hope to come back someday!

The resort was beautiful! The staff were very friendly and eager to help whenever asked. At least three calls came to our room during our short stay to check in if there was anything they could do to make our holiday better. We had a beachfront villa with a private jacuzzi. The main pool is huge, you could swim from one end to the other if you desired. The beds, pillows, and betting were so comfortable. The best part, though, was the beach. We were there at the end of October, and while the weather wasn't great, there was hardly anyone on the beach.

I don't think there was much of anything the resort could've done better during our stay. Its a pretty new resort, and there's been a lot of care in the planning and grounds maintenance. Very clean, very friendly staffed. The only downside to our stay was the short amount of time we were able to stay.

Beautiful grounds, best pool I have seen, and lovely staff. The beds were amazingly comfortable, shower pressure was strong. Best thing was the pools though - could swim around in them all day xD

They allow smoking on the private terraces by the pools, so you really can't avoid the smell of cigarettes in this place unless you stay inside, or stay away from the pools which really sucks.

I loved the view. A nice assortment was available for breakfast.

I was not able to adjust the temperature in the rooms and wash cloths were not available (only hand and bath towels).

Stayed in pool villa for our honeymoon. Great for relaxing. Excellent service from Thai staff from start to finish.

None Thai staff have terrible communication skills. At times extremely rude, especially during check out.

Staff were fabulous and the deluxe room opening onto a terrace and semi-private pool was gorgeous. Breakfast really nice too

The hotel is amazing! Everything was great - from the biggest swimming pool to Thai language classes, offered to guests. I liked pool the most - 300 m of clean and warm water :) The food was great both for breakfast and for dinner, with local and European options for every taste and huge choice of cocktails and mocktails. We had the dinner at the beach for St Valentine's day, and the arrangement was terrific - flowers, Chinese lanterns, music, 7-course meal, sparkling vine, etc.Spa treatments are a bit pricey, but of very high quality. Entertainment is very diverse - yoga, pilates, thai box, thai stretching, language classes, batik classes, and many more. The personnel was very helpful at all times.

Very well positioned. Very well looked after. The beach was very close and good restaurants within a short walk.But the best thing was probably the swimming facilities. Having a pool access room was great.

The views, the pools, the trees, the layout, how clean everything was, how modern everything was. The way we were greeted when we arrived. The little touches in our room when we arrived. Gym was modern and clean.

Service was very slow on the pool deck. If you like to explore there’s not much going on in that part of Khao Lak

The speed at which all the guests moved was my vibe. Everybody was couples without kids and as it was remote nobody was rushing to get anywhere. Pool was amazing. Beachside sunsets to die for.

Nobody mentioned the stairs. It’s a two level climb from the ground floor to breakfast. Not great for old bones. It’s a bit far out of town but we liked that and k ew it when we booked. Could be off putting for those that want to walk places.

The property was on the beach with good access to the water. The stuff was wonderful, very helpful and kind, friendly and the service was outstanding. The rooms and facility was clean, and offered many little extras. Bikes and Motor scooters were avail to rent which was nice. The location was good, access to 7Eleven, pharmacy and restaurants / bars. Tours were also available to book from the hotel making it easy to organize and plan excursions. The pools were very nice, accessible and clean.

The breakfast offered everyday was extensive but did not change from day to day. The food was good and well prepared.

The room was renovated, super clean and very big, and there was no kind of noise to disturb doing our stay. The staff in the reception and all the maids were so kind and helpful all the time. The massage treatments in the spa were fantastic! The beach is very undisturbed with few people - unlike other areas in Thailand - and the pool areas was huge ?

It was a bit far from everything (15 min by car to town)The food in the restaurant was not the best. Some of the waiters seemed to having issues with service in general and didn’t smile once doing the week we where there, but some of the younger waiters at least tried.

The pool is fantastic, but could use some renovation here and there.Very good breakfast.

More light at the bathroom in the rooms - it is way to dark. I have been here twice and it has been the same experience.
