We've been to this resort probably five times already. We always choose these villas. We love them, they are so exotic. Everything was nice - the room, the staff, the breakfast. We wish our stay was longer.

As a family we loved the size of the hotel, it was small so didn't feel too busy. The staff were very helpful and attentive during our stay. The pools were lovely, we had read reviews stating older guests didn't appreciate children making noise around the pool(s) but we didn't experience this. Very good value for money in a great location.

The only negative would be the hotel could do with a tidy up, the grounds were kept clean and well maintained, however, for example, the cleaning trolley for the rooms was left in the corridor each day/evening, and old towels were being used to cover wires which run across hallways and passageways. Very minor negative and didn't take away from the positives.

Location is ok, not far from the beach and restaurants

The room wasn’t properly clean, you can see a lot of dust on the surface of the shelf. I booked a room with two separate beds but they gave me double bed and it took our time to explain and change the room. There are no good options for breakfast as for international one, I don’t eat meat and eat healthy, i couldn’t find anything for myself except poached eggs and tomatos, cucumbers, very poor choice

Location is good. Its at the end of the main Khao Lak street. Its near to restaurants and bars. The staff are lovely, so helpful. They organised a late check out for us to 6pm on the date of departure for a cost of 1600bht.The air con is good.

Rooms are very tired and in need of updating. Also our room was not particularly clean. Guests leave towels on sunbeds around the pool from early morning and these are not removed regardless if they are never used. Thats annoying.The beach is a good 15 min walk from the Leaf. It is down the road to the Sands hotel and through the hotel. On the way you will have to pass various kids pools etc. The strip of sand at the beach is narrow so there are no sunbeds on the actual beach. At the Leaf they give you a card giving you access to the beach but not to any of the facilities of the Sands. Not sure if this includes the sunbeds at the Sands. Much better to head to Coconut Beach ( taxi 400 bht) and enjoy free sunbeds and have a nice lunch there. The Wifi is not great in the hotel.

Lovely big shower room but poor shower head

The hotel location was good, close to the city center and services. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room price level was reasonable. The breakfast was quite adequate, at least for us.

The rooms were in need of an update and the view from the balcony was not very nice. The nearest beach, which you could reach via a shortcut, was quite ok but not the best for swimming. There are much more beautiful beaches nearby and further north.

The shower was very poor. We stayed in a villa/bungalow. It was in need of an update. And there was a day bed that took up a third of the bathroom doorwayNeeded more shades at quite pool

Breakfast selection could have been a bit better the hot food was always Asian style, never any bacon

Villa was large and comfortable and the gardens were very well maintained and felt very relaxing. Good breakfast and excellent dining in the Italian themed restaurant. Staff were very helpful.

Actually loved staying here. Pool was great, location was great - short walk to the beach (which we loved - really quiet, lots of fish in the rock pools and also saw a heron!) we ate at Go Pong about 5 mins down the main street most nights. Quiet location but busy enough to enjoy a meal and a drink each night. We also enjoyed our balcony/terrace and spent a lot of time playing games out here on an evening.

Big rooms and locations is in tranquil area

Room was not clean properly, dust everywhere and mold in the bathroom. Also the room was smelly of humidity, even our clothes smelled like that after the stay!! And lots of dead insects inside bathroom light. Not ideal for long stays.

Location, accommodation we stayed in chalet which is near the small pool ,which was great hotel is close to the strip. Would stay again

Breakfast was ok, but it could be improved

Nice location. Quiet and peaceful with a fantastic breakfast each morning and lovely helpful staff.

The facilities were super clean and spacious. The whole place had a very relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, despite being in walking distance to the main street. The staff were all very friendly and it was lovely to have an individual/private bungalow style room!

Could have had a few more vegetarian alternatives at the breakfast but still some good options.
