Room ended up with winged termites all over bed. Initial approach by staff was with insecticide which we objected to, requesting instead to change rooms, however hotel suggested changing sheets, which we reluctantly agreed to.

Breakfast gets very boring after your third night here. They did not have enough staff on duty nor enough cleaning staff. The actual food lacked taste.

Actual Hotel: This is nothing more than a very large three star resort. The hotel do not really focus on the guest experience. Once you are checked in you are left to figure it out. You can expect a lot of the same, they do not have enough operating equipment for their busy period so you will wait for things like knifes and forks.Room:We booked a room which opened up onto the swimming pool, what this meant was other guests helped themselves to our lilo which was on the balcony. Other guests left their cocktails on our balcony and this was never cleaned. You also hear the noise from the pool. I do not recommend this room type. Housekeeping:They only start cleaning rooms everyday after 14h00 - so you have no opportunity for an afternoon sleep. Pool:They do not have enough pool loungers and have no one monitoring the area so you get guests who put towels down on the loungers and then head off for the day. No one removes them. It was like this at all the pools and even the beach loungers. Breakfast:Breakfast gets very boring after your third night here. They did not have enough staff on duty nor enough cleaning staff. The actual food lacked taste. Coffee: I would rate the coffee a 1/10. It's liquid coffee from vending machines. You will not find a nice espresso or pour over.

Everything was very good. Truly kick back and relax. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast buffet is very generous. Staff are all super friendly.

The exterior and passages of the buildings could use some maintenance. The location is far from town but they make up for it with free shuttle service to town and back (11:00-16:30).

The resort was actually really nice and the rooms very clean and spacious.

The problem was the lack of vibe, atmosphere, and life in the resort. It was like a deserted resort. The staff were quite rude and not what you would typically expect in a Thailand resort. Also Asked the reception desk staff to call a taxi for us at 6:30 pm and was told to walk down to the beach for a taxi.

Located away from the bustle, impeccable facilities and very nice service. The team of TUI blue organised an evening extravaganza for kids every single day. It was brilliant

Nothing to dislike

Two separate locations for breakfast with very good international buffet! Many on-site restaurants as well as on-the-beach local private restaurants. It is a huge resort with direct access to the beach. And kudos to the well-trained service staff! Good for family with kids. A huge water play areas for kids as well. And ample parking space too. Last but not least, Khao Lak is one of the best destinations in Thailand for those travelers who appreciate nature and tranquility of a small town with ample scenic locations for road trips.

Right on the beach, great pool, plenty of space to spread out and food choices. We stayed there for a couple days at the end of a busy vacation and it was great. The staff was great when one of our kids got sick and made sure we were taken care of

Nothing. Just be aware it's pretty far from Phuket airport. Which honestly for me and my family was exactly the point.

Rooms comfortable and big, beautiful beach, friendly staff

Access/distance to beach from the VillaLocal people very friendly and do not hassle you like many do in other countries.Upper restaurant was much better and seemed to have more options for breakfast.Great weekly markets down the road via taxi are well worth visiting.

Lower restaurant seemed understaffed at breakfast sometimes with a line for omelettes/eggs.

The 'sand kids pool' had no shade, the kids enjoyed it but could do with a shaded area.The food portions were not huge in most of the restaurants.

Everything is ok. The staff is helpful and speaks good English. Good air-conditioning system, comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom. Very varied breakfast. Nice and cheap Massage on the beach, on the left side.

As very often happens, problem is with Coffee. If this is important to you, be prepared to solve this problem yourself. "Jacuzzi" in swimming pools are old and broken. In our pool-access room it was very difficult to turn it on.

The staff are amazing here couldnt do enough for you me and my family really enjoyed our stay we traveled with three young children and the service here was exceptional

The size of the rooms are above average. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were above and beyond. The little things worked so well e.g. a buggy services from room to any part of the hotel

they either need to 2nd bar or the pool bar needs to open a little later

That is backed onto the local community village

cleanliness was an issue, the evening entertainment was only for the kids club and it was a 20 minute taxi into town.

The location

We paid for a pool access room and due to poor maintenance, the pool was full of algae for almost a week and we were unable to use therefore should only have to pay for a standard room. I have since asked for a partial refund and am waiting for a response which I hope will be actioned as soon as possible. We have stayed here before and will never stay here again.

The easy walk to a beautiful beach and several restaurants. We were a family group of 13, from a 70 year old to a 2 year old, and it suited all ages. The local restaurants just outside the resort catered for children, with children’s meals and toys to play with. The resort had several pools which suited all ages. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food, including a children’s table.

It was a little isolated, but having said that there was a free shuttle bus to town on the hour, or a tuk tuk for 400TB for the 12 of us!

The beach front restaurant staff were unhelpful and the room could of done with a deep clean we understand that it's a quick turn around but maybe having some where they have the time to clean properly ours had what we think was tomato ketchup? Over the walls and a sink which the plug was broken but with the plug they were there to fix very quickly but if they had more time they would of seen this.
