Khaolak Sunset Resort - Adults Only

I didn't eat breakfast but the dinner was very good. I loved the coconut soup with seafood. Ate it twice!

Better beer selection.

I was never given an option for eating there. Staff were rude, place was poorly maintained, nothing like on the advertisement of property. Not to be dazzled by the pretty night time photos.

Unfriendly staff. Unfortunately not clean. Place is in runes. Stareways were not swept in a week, need hosing down. Never to return. Booked in a few hotels down the road so much better, same beach.

It’s an excellent adult only resort, great view, good location. We had the best 3 weeks here. Staff were kind and helpful, the room was clean.

I could not mention anything I didn’t like.

The location of the hotel is stunning, best beach in Khao lak area ,with beautiful seaview from every rooom of the hotel. Hotel itself is a bit outdated,pool is small, restaurant is not appealing, but thats why i guess price is so cheap compared to other resorts in the area. The value for money is exellent imo! Rooms are big,bed confortable, big terrace. Sure toiletries are basic, towels not luxurious, but was cleaned every day and i am really happy with my stay there!Renting a scooter recomended to moove around,as bit far from main street, restaurants,supermarkets.

Terrible! Room substandard, no WiFi, view of roof, restaurant doesn’t offer decent food, limited hours. Depressing atmosphere and the management doesn’t maintain or invest in the hotel. Old and rundown

Too many steps from room to beach to Reception

Had the best beach of all the resorts on the beach in a quiet location. Staff were brilliant from start to finish, from booking us airport taxis and taxis to the town to even helping remove a lizard from the room when my daughter was scared of it. Room was clean and all rooms have a beach view. The little restaurant/bar on the resort was brilliant for snacks and meals.

It is a little far away from town but you can walk to it easy enough or it was 150 baht in a taxi for four of us.

Everything. We liked it so much we asked if we could extend our stay there instead of moving to another hotel and they helped us do this very easily and even let us stay in the same room.Staff were brilliant and the views and the beach were some of the best we had found in Khao Lak

It has quite a steep hill down to the beach (there are also stairs) but may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties

Location - very good! View - super good! Room - very nice!

But WIFI - very BAD! ((( You guys need to change it, I understand that a lot of people and your internet is broking all the time because of this, but anyway. It's impossible to normal work on this connections, that is super bad and broking every hour.

The view, the beach, the balcony

Very limited facilities, by arrival- room was not clean. Friendly personell, but the hotel needs renovation.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Good access to the beach and great view.

The rooms are big and comfortable. The wifi is good, and almost all the rooms have a beautiful view. The beach is quite good. There is a forest behind, its lovely.

The TV in the room was not working well, it was blurry, we told them, they came and checked, then they said lthey will call the engineer, it had been a week but nobody fixed it. The sea is great but the water is a little bit blurry, not good for snorkelling but the sandy beach and the water is nice.

Stairs and hill to navigate as resort on cliff. But every room has a view of the beach as a result so worth it.

Beautiful beach location surrounded by trees. Lovely pool area. Amazing sunsets. Peaceful.

Superb location, all rooms have sea views, right on the beach, 20 minute walk to bars and restaurants or 100 baht in a taxi.

Rooms need some TLC, furniture has seen better days. Resort is not suitable for people with walking difficulties, due to steps and steep slopes fom rooms to pool/beach.

Pretty big.Not crowded.Access to beach.Great views from balcony of every room.Clean.Private and quiet. Housekeeping does not come by unless you specifically request it.Large rooms with huge balcony.

Interior is dated.Whole resort looks a bit tired.Seems to attract mostly retirees.Nothing much on the television.WiFi is slightly spotty even in the room.Slightly too expensive IMO.

Hotel is in need of a refurb.No hot water for 2 days and the patio glass sliding door came off its runner.
