The Briza Beach Resort, Khao Lak SHA Extra Plus

We liked the location, friendly staff.

Bathroom needs some renovation, was also smelly way too often. Like old water odor from the sewer.

I’d book double room with garden with but hotel was upgrade my room to beachfront room.The room was spacious , clean , very comfortable bed.Various of breakfast. I stayed here for three nights. The Thai breakfast was diverse and changed every day.Very friendly staff.Many of restaurants and supermarkets ,also 7-11 nearby.Beautiful and clean beach.

Enjoyed the beachfront location. The library room was nice to get some work done.

My wife booked a room with breakfast and I was told at the front desk that it was not included. Thus I did not have breakfast each morning.

location on the beach and lots of restaurants and massage places within a 100m or so.

the pool on our side of the resort was being renovated and we didn’t know this in advance. there was another pool we could use across the road. it opened up on our last day which was good.

Beautiful setting on the beach. Fabulous facilities, pools, restaurants, gym. All the staff were so kind and helpful.

Location, close to restaurants etc,staff very friendly, access to beach, very nice rooms,car was protected from the sun by security using windscreen cover's all in all very pleasant stay.

The cleaning wasn’t great - I cut my foot on day one on glass on my verandah which hadn’t been cleaned up after the previous guests! ?‍? Also a bit hit and miss with toiletries- I had no soap and very reluctant to change towels regularly.

No issues at all.. very good breakfast , swimming pools are great. Location is good, all restaurants are nearby, the beach of briza beach resort is great.

The room is spacious with a balcony where you can enjoy the sunset. The location is great as it is right by the beach but still a short walk to a small city center. The food at Maya restaurant is nice. Staff are always ready to support.

Close to local shops, bars and restaurants. We had a beach front room with a balcony which was large, comfortable and clean.

They put 2 different types of water in the fridge each day one is free one you pay for but they do not make that clear.

Our beach front room with garden was just perfect. The hotel staff were so friendly and the location was great. It’s like a small village right on your door step. I could have done with a brush to keep the floor sand free but that’s my only moan. The cleaning staff were fab as all the staff were.

So far from shopping malls. I liked being on the beach. The omelette was great. The price of a taxi was expensive.

The room (pool access) at Briza Beach was refurbished - to an extent. Beautiful new floor tiles, and walls repainted.But, as with much at this resort, that is where it ended. The fabric bed heads and furniture were not touched in the refurb, the pillows and towels were old, as were the plumbing and electrical fittings. I don't know if Briza is in the middle of the refurb, or if this is all that is being done, but it seems like a half-hearted, or cost-cutting refurb.The pool, although clean and upkeep was fantastic, had mould spots, mismatched tiles, and calcification in places.The breakfast, although perfectly good, occasionally had cold dishes, chewy bacon etc.The facilities, like the cafe (not used by us) looked great, but the "bar" by the beach was no longer in operation.There was an area that looked like it was once a swim-up bar, but was no longer in operation.Shower room for use after check out was ok, but a bit dismal, and cold showers only.Saying that, staff were always friendly and helpful.The resort is in a fantastic location, close to quite a few restaurants and supermarkets.

Pool and beachside loungers had towels put on them by early morning, and stayed there most of the day, meaning if you wanted to use the beach or pool, seating was very limited, or non-existent.

All of the staff were excellent and very attentive. The location, right on a beautiful beach front, was amazing!

The pools were very warm but there's not much the hotel can do about that!

The bed coverings, the shower was not cleaned at all while we were there for the whole time,the bedding was changed maybe twice, had to constantly ask for clean towels, the chairs were filthy, need to update!

Upgraded to lovely beachfront room, very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast, plenty of room, everyone friendly.

Strange having washbasin in bedroom rather than in bathroom, didn’t feel right, awkward.
