Khaolak Grand City Hotel

Pool was good.

Party had been organised on premises which disturbed all guests in the hotel. Not sure why management allowed this to happen. Very very loud and no sleep for any of my family until early hours of the morning. Disappointed this was allowed to happen. I own and manage a hotel in Phuket and would never approve this at my hotel. Mentioned to staff lady next day but although she said sorry, it was obvious she didn’t really care.,

I moved to another hotel after 1 night... the aircon was very weak on the lowest temperature so I had to also use the fan. The room felt dingy and it only had a window opening into a passageway and another high window that could not be blocked and caused the room to be bright very early. It was very noisy. I guess the walls are thin and the staff is loud in the mornings. The pool was nice and there were many books available.

Pool area was great! Decent size room and bed with fridge, tv and wardrobe. Clean Bathroom with shampoo and body wash. Hot shower.

Difficulty communicating with staff. Window into the hallway so had to keep curtain closed and no natural light.

Location was good approximately 15 minutes walk to the beach. Hotel had a pool and a very good restaurant with delicious food at a reasonable price. Room had air conditioning, en-suite toilet and shower, refrigerator,TV, kettle and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. Cleaned daily with water and amenities replenished. Handy bus stop outside to catch the local bus to Phuket. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Good hotel for good price stay 2-3 nights in Kao Lak. Close to bus stop next to Mcdonalds.

Bed matress was too hard for me.

Breakfast was not included, but restaurant has large variety of foods.

Not the most quiet rooms available. Traffic + noise from the corridor can be heard easily.

Only stayed for one night. Bed was comfy, room was big.

Not so close to the beach.

Good sized room cleaned daily. There is a boiling water machine, small fridge, TV and powerfull air conditioning. The hotel is very clean with a nice swimming pool.

Perfect service. Booked two separate rooms for a family, but the hotel offered us free upgrade to a big family suite.

Clean place for short/overnight stay

No ramp but stairs only access to the upstairs room which is unsuitable/difficult for elderly, young children and travelling with luggages.

My room didn’t have an outlooking window. only a window facing a concrete wall in the hallway. the hallway was also so loud
