    Pros +

    • Staying at Fanari Resort during "The Green Season" meant that we virtually had the place to ourselves including the pool, which is set in lovely, lush, tropical gardens.
    • I stayed in a poolside room which was comfortable...a large room with two big double beds and the bathroom was fine. A bit of a walk to the heart of Biang Miang, but not too far. Great outdoor restaurant overlooking the ocean nearby for sunsets and meals. Wifi was good and there was a small convenience store opposite the hotel.
    • Location

    Cons -

    • The spacious bungalow room was set in a lush tropical garden with a well kept pool that was delightfully refreshing after a day of sightseeing.
    • Too much chlorine in the pool! The smell was overwhelming and it put me off spending much time in it!
    • Rooms were dated and smelt foisty and weren't cleaned properly

    Location was close to everything

The whole place had a moldy smell. The rooms were dark and dated. The front receptionist were okay at best. Internet connection was really bad. There were 9 WiFi hubs and they all dropped every ten minutes. I left after one night despite having paid for 3 nights.

    Value for money and location.

Hotel is a little tired, but still value for money. Access around the pool is awkward.

    Swim up to room pool.

Cleanliness. Bathroom was average. Shower head was blocked and water spouted everywhere. Bedroom mirror had stains running down from the top..no idea what that was. TV was very old and only had non english channels and no ability to screen mirror or hdmi a laptop or phone. Outdoor furniture was broken. Guests smoking around the pool. Breakfast was bland but a good variety. Staff had no idea when asked questions about the area, transport or fixing anything.

very good breakfest, lots of choices. Rooms are big, garden is beautiful Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and warm. Staff is very friendly, helpful. They organised transfers and excursions.

Toilet at room made problems, but starff did take care of it.

Great location, room was very nice. Pool was fantastic. Breakfast was awesome. Price was great if you book well in advance.

    Nothing. Property is solid!

    8StevenPosted on: 3-16-2025

    Location, friendly helpful staff

No hot water for the wash basin , tv could have more channels available, possibly internet tv.

    5ClairePosted on: 3-13-2025

The location. Not far from the night markets and numerous restaurants. The pool.

The property is in need of a major upgrade. The rooms are outdated and lack things I would expect in a hotel such as tea and coffee making facilities, adequate power points and hot water in the wash basin

    Close to beach and restaurants.

Needs some TLC around property and to buildings.

We stayed in a beautiful secluded room among the trees. We arrived early but were able to leave our bags and walk to the nearby beach which was lovely, although we did have to climb over a few rocks to get there. If you don't mind walking, it isn't very far to the Tsunami Museum and Police Boat T813. Plenty of places to eat nearby, but we settled on Sunset Boulevard, the German biker bar just round the corner, which served amazing Thai food. We paid for breakfast at the hotel, which was buffet style.

The pillows were far too puffy for my liking!

Great room, lots of space. Great pool. Excellent breakfast.

Two beds and person on one side has to climb over and between the beds. It's a little thing but lighting not good, especially in bathroom.

The location was pretty good, rooms get a basic clean every day, grounds are well maintained. Staff are friendly and will assist in any way that they can.

I noticed that the bottom sheet on the bed wasn't changed in a week. The only reason I noticed as there was a stain on the sheet which was still there on the day that we left. Not a big deal as ultimately thr price and value for money was brilliant. Pay peanuts and you get what you get..

    9YoungPosted on: 2-18-2025

We had a villa which was spacious and kept spotlessly clean. It was set in beautiful gardens near the quieter of the 2 pools.Breakfast was plentiful and varied every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Good access to 2 beaches and just a short walk to lots of restaurants and bars.

The bathroom needs a bit of a refresh. The pool loungers need a good scrub.

    Living in surroundings green jungle

Across the road there is boxing ring, which makes loud noises during the day.Very poor WiFi in the room.

Very lovely place with kind, attentive staff. The rooms are very nicely decorated and have a relaxed ambience.

The only thing they could improve is trying to control the level of mosquitos. Even being sat by the pool I was bitten many times. I think investing in some kind of plants or equipment to deter them would do wonders. The plants they have around the pool are so beautiful but sadly they must attract alot of them.

Living in the Jungle, lots of birds, lizards and moscitos.

Some quests didn't use WC and shower before entering the pool ?
