The staff were very nice and helpful. We arrived on the island early and were able to check in early since the room we booked was ready. The room was clean, well maintained, and had sufficient facilities—good enough for an island stay. I had read quite a number of bad reviews before booking, so I was a little sceptical. But for me, it was a really good stay and a great chalet. I also loved the location—not too quiet or secluded, but private enough to have the beach mostly to yourself, with fewer people and fewer boats around. Aircond worked well, there is hot water (shower) as well. The food at the restaurant is good as well I would say. Overall, a great stay and will definitely repeat my stay here. Clean, wooden floors, very cozy. If you are afraid of insect/mosquito problem, just bring the necessary items beforehand as precaution. But my friend and I personally did not have any issue in that regard. You may need it for other parts on the island, I'm not too sure.

The hotel is in our opinion in the best of the several popular beaches we have seen. Service was so helpful with any questions. AC worked perfectly.

Great location...great eating area. We stayed in flora 2...the old quarters, the surrounding area is a little dared and run down and the environment around it needs to be kept cleaner I think (litter).

Breakfast was good as well as the environment, one step away was the bay. All staffs were very friendly and helpful.

No room service for 6 nights & no one came to my room to do basic room make up or change the towels. The water for shower was too little like a baby’ s urinating. The facility of accommodation was too old at this resort.

The breakfast was spectacular, the staff helped us with all the transfers and very nice throughout our stay. Very quiet place. The accommodation was basic but very complete and comfortable.

The mosquitoes. The nights were our nightmare. Since there were no mosquito nets, every night was a bombardment of mosquitoes. We greatly missed some mosquito nets or something to kill them.

The hotel location is great, right next to the beach.

There were 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 kids (9, 12 & 16 years old). When we booked the hotel they gave us 3 Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View and 1 Superior Double or Twin Room with Partial Sea View. It stated extra bed are available upon request but they said the extra beds are not available. It makes more sense for us to book 2 Superior Room Partial Sea View and 1 Superior with Garden view but they did not allowed it based on the reason rooms are fully booked. However there were lots of empty rooms during our stay. The toilets were dirty, our bed sheets were dirty have to call the reception to replace. The power sockets hanging from the wall. The whole place were sad and depressing. The staff were just ok. The food at the restaurant were rip off price.

The location was great and the air conditioner worked perfectly.

The facilities were poor. They need to do some renovations.The windows and doors did not close very well, and the insects could come inside of the room. The buffet was correct.

Close to the beach, good restaurant

We had a leaking toilet and it took us four attempts for them to come with a solution. The room itself was not clean, WiFi wasn’t working, place looks old and needs more maintenance. It’s one of the cheapest hotels on the island, but still you may expect a bit more for the fee you pay here.

Bathroom has no hose for washing, bathroom door doesn't lock well, walkway to chalets is not covered so if it rains, you are stranded

Nice resort, good facilities and good enough food.The island is very nice and private taxi boats can take you around easily.

It's a bit more expensive than it should be compared to other similar structure.Considering that this resort targets also foreigners non Muslims it would be nice to find a way to sell alcohol.

The location is great, right on the beach. The food in the restaurant is also very good, the breakfast changes each day so you have a variety. The staff are lovely and friendly.

The only thing letting it down is the room. It needs a lot of love and a revamp.

*Rooms were old, the shower was cold, and they didn't provide handsoap.*Only a few other resorts on the beach were open, which made it feel nice and secluded but also limited dining options within walking distance as opposed to other parts of Perhentian.

1- The reception team there is just amazing, they were available and professional every time we needed.2- you can do a jungle trek to other beaches in the island from the hotel beach but becareful it might be dangerous as paths are not clear

1- No one came to clean our room during our full stay knowing that occupancy was very low2- they serve small portions in the breakfast buffet, which made us request one morning many times for refill of french toasts, eggs and fruit and it took them 15 min to cut 10 thin and small pieces of water melon and prepare 5 scrambled eggs3- not good good for value price/quality4- no transats or longchairs on the beach

Staff is friendly & willing to attend to aircon problems. Jetty is walking distance to room. Beach is acceptable. Breakfast was satisfactory.

No preventive maintenance for aircon. My parents had to move 2 rooms in a day due to aircon issues.
