The beach and the view

The place is very aged, not much money put into it. No bar, average food. No tv in room. Very poor wifi coverage. Too many mosquitoes to sit outdoors after dusk.

The bedroom is ok.

The staff is not friedly, the breakfast tablets are dirty, breakfast is not nice. The hotel does not Care about the customer.

Location!

Staff not always willing to help.Room unclean. No way of getting hold of anyone unless go to reception. Our air con broke twice and our sheets were dirty and had blood on them (supposedly clean sheets!)Food is poor.Drinks are overpriced.No instructions in the room. Everyday you get 2 power cuts. This stops the air con. You need to know how to reset it. No instructions! Pool needs a big chlorine hit. It is very cloudy.Just generally very tired but it plays in it's location. I think there are better hotels for the same price in Perhentians.

The beach is absolutely gorgeous. I cannot fault it. Beautiful place. A bit far from the other hotels but great locqtion

The staff seemed not the politest and weren't very compromising. I found the staff a bit off to be honest and I always rate the staff highly in other places. Especially one member on kitchen floor was rude. Never mind . The food isn't also the best in the buffet

So many dead mosquitos on the wall! Bedsheets not clean. Very good food in the restaurant. Bathroom not clean bit expected for location. Good water activities and amazing location by beach. Expensive food

From a distance, the resort looks ideal with quaint beachside bungalows and a beautiful bay view. However, for the price, the place did not meet expectations. The rooms are old and worn with a musty smell and a gap beneath the door that allowed mosquitoes and insects in. The bathroom had a smell of sewage coming from the pipes so we left the fan on all the time. While overall clean, it wasn't what we expected for the price.The rest of the resort is equally tired and dated. Didn't even swim in the pool as the beach is right there. Only ate once at the restaurant and they brought out the food before drinks and I had nearly finished mine before they brought out my girlfriends food. It was average food but the menu gets a whole lot more expensive but wasn't willing to try.The staff are fine. The front desk was the most helpful with the rest of the staff being pretty lethargic in their responses.Overall not worth the money. The only thing going for it is the idyllic beachfront, but you could stay at any of the other accommodation on the island and walk to the beach to enjoy it.

Beach and garden

At breakfast buffet wasn't ready. Most of the staff except for one lady and young man didn't want to help or just do their job. Was told by one member of staff that there were too busy to pout small plates out for people to get their food.Toaster very slow, coffee cold no milk, or muesli: Staff at breakfast didn't seem to want to help.Selection of food not great either.

Beach in front of the resort, beautiful views, nice garden with a pond and dragons :)They offer spa, with interesting massage package.There is also sport centre, where you can book diving or snorkeling trips.

Food, breakfast buffey was nice, variety of tasty food. A la carte meals from menu where less tasty.

helpful staff, very clean, cleaned every day. Beautiful location, beach, not many people. I definitely recommend it for a vacation.

organization of the hotel restaurant. The earlier you show up at the restaurant, the more chance you have to choose. If you show up an hour before the buffet closes, there is no point in choosing.

Very good location, and quiet ! It’s great to be able to the full beach just for us ! They also have amazing massage available !

A bit expensive and it was a shame that all the facilities around was not opened yet (coffee and 2nd restaurant). The restaurant is not really great, expensive for the quality

Best beach on the Island. Nice Bungalow in first row. Sunbeds and shower availabe.

Staff told us to check out already at 11 to get the ferry at 12 which was only 5 minutes away.

Kind and smiling staff. Took the luggage’s from the boat when arriving and same for the departure. The bungalows are spacious, the mattress is comfortable. You are surrounded by squirrels and monitor lizards ..impressive. The beach in front of the hotel is very nice and few minutes walking you have another one. Restaurant is ok with a large menu

It is not normal that there is no WiFi in the room or close to the beach..only at the restaurant and the reception, quite difficult to manage for someone coming from Europe..even because all the others hotels have it. The rooms will need some refreshment (see photos) they mention tennis/badminton courts but those 2 are completely left abandoned

The location was a super nice, calm place at day and night the staff were so friendly love to visit againAnd recommend for families and couples to book this resort And I hope this resort will always stay like that clean and friendly also can improve more

Location, front desk customer service was good

Costumer service at the restaurant was really bad and food was just okay with not much to choose from. Breakfast was horrible and always the same every day, the food at the stands was precooked and left out for the squirrels out to eat. What’s the point of having a cooking stand then? The cooking stand is where I am supposed to order some fresh cocked food from and instead there was no one as the food was already cooked and left out and cold. Also the property needs a lot of renovations.

Location was great as resort had whole beachfront!Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were well positioned and right near beach!Jungle walks were worthwhile with wild monkeys, squirrels and goannas in their natural environment!

Ferry transfer to the island due to rough weather was dangerous!Disembarking at the jetty was very difficult and no staff were there to help us disembark!Breakfast was adequate but didn’t change from day to day!

The beach out the front is the nicest beach

The resort does not live up to the photos. It's poorly maintained, there's mosquitos, the pool wasn't opened. There's not enough beach chairs out on the beach and the ones that are there are broken and in poor condition. The food at the hotel was horrendous. Such a disappointment especially as the hotel is expensive. You're better off staying around the corner at the Coral reef or Barat - better food and accom. My key to our room also opened up another room, I didn't realise until I opened the door and saw other people's belongings that I was in the wrong room! Terrible. They should refund people's money as it's way too expensive for what you get. Do not stay here.

Location of open water competition

Musty old room with smell. Lots of insects outside and inside room. Broken shower head. Clogged toilet and toilet smells! Unpleasant stay. The superior garden rooms starts with number 3, those located behind are really not well maintained

Resort located on the most beautiful and enchanting beach on the island.

Facility not up to the standard of the beach, old rooms and staff too stiff. When booking we were asked what type of beds we wanted, and this request when we arrived was ignored.
