The location was very convenient. I was worried about the cleanliness of the rooms, but they were very well cleaned.

For the price, I paid for a beach front view, I was disappointed that the shower did not work properly. It could not be adjusted and you literally had to hold the shower head in your hand. But the thing that makes the stay absolutely horrible is the awful smell! Literally in front of the hotel the waste is let into the sea. Thankfully in the mornings during breakfast the smell is not that bad. But throughout the day it is awful! We could not even keep our sliding glass door open most of the time due to the awful smell. I have no idea how people could enjoy the pool with that overpowering smell of waste!

the hotel itself is amazing, great location just nearby the jetty, clean resort and friendly staff. have own beach chair area with facing the entire beach. Shower room with amazing water pressure.

Got wifi but connection was poor inside the room. The pool was supposedly to open at at 8am according to the note, but reach there and tell us still need to wait till 9am for cleaning.

Great location and comfy rooms. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast was good.

The activities are pricier here than the offers from the stands along the beach for the exact same tours. Even the transfer from Kuala Besut to the resort was double the price.

My beach view room at the Mimpi Perhentian was fantastic. Had exceptional quality staff that was always eager to help and the location was just perfect!

The food was expensive! So we ended up eating out most of the time. Also, I would appreciate some environment-friendly measures, like refilled filter water bottles, for example.

view is good ...other than that no good ! Wtf hand shower bracket cannot adjust ??? Wtf aircond compressor blowing balcony ? Wtf cannot request 2 room keys for triple room ? Most staff not understand english ! Customer service will ignore all your complaint !

Paying 5 star price but get 2 stars facility , service and room size . Room layout , design all i can say is stupid !

Modern rooms and location

- there were stains on the bedsheets that were causing itching. The minimum i expect from an expensive hotel was the cleanliness of the bedsheets-the staff in the restaurant couldn’t talk great english so we didn’t know before that the coffee was not included in the breakfast cost but paid a part (5 euro)

The stay at the hotel has been magnificent. I believe it has been the best hotel on the entire island, and in my opinion, the best part was the service — the people. From the attention at the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was wonderful. The rooms were incredible, and the breakfast was unbeatable. I would totally recommend it and would definitely come back.

The room was clean & comfy. Exactly what stated in the pictures. Pls take the ocean view as u gonna see the ocean from your bed

The location is amazing, beautiful views. The suite was very comfortable for a family of 4

The staff was unfriendly, I had to pay the transfer to the island twice as they asked a bank wire which they had not received (but I payed, including high bank commissions), the room was big but not well maintained.

We booked the triple ocean view room which was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the room and washroom were very clean and modern. The hotel is next to the jetty which is great since we didn't have to drag our luggage across the beach.

Beautiful view, helpful staff, room had nice balcony. I read previous reviews about bed bugs and a bad smell but we didn’t experience any of that!

The hotel is very nicely postitioned next to the jetty on Long Beach. The rooms are also done up nicely and very makes you feel like you are in a premium resort. Service by the staff was excellent as well. The dive shop is great too, the divemasters are all very friendly and experienced. Would definitely recommend to stay and dive here.

It was clean and super comfortable. Aesthetically pleasing and close to the jetty. Sea view was gorgeous.

The hotel is close to the pier which is very convenient. The rooms are relatively okay and the bed is comfortable. Compared to the other accommodation on the island, this seems to be one of the best

They’re pretty scammy. They made us pay for a jetty back to the main land and then another form of private transport back to the airport, only for us to waste more than 2 hours going around picking up diff people, when we clearly asked them if it was a direct jetty and they said yes. My recommendation is not to book anything through the hotel. The spa is Mid, not really worth it. My husband and I did a massage, facial and a couple of other treatments, it was pretty disappointing. Breakfast is very over priced for the limited options they offer. My advice would be to stay at Mimpi but don’t book anything through them or get any thing extra than the room you’ll be staying in

it was indeed a great experience for the family! staff was friendly, clean and comfortable room. perfect location, about 50m from jetty! Will definitely come back for another family vacation ? oh, this one's definitely a bonus -- soft drinks in mini bar, snacks are all COMPLIMENTARY and refillable!!!

Location, room size

The cleanliness, when firstly check in we notice the floor still have sands. The breakfast buffet choices are limited, and the dim sum is served in frozen, may be next time can steam inside the kitchen before serve out to customer, as customer may not aware it is frozen.

Breakfast was ok. Spa service was good.

Poor and dark bathroom lighting. We stayed in 3 rooms and a family suite for 4 nights and requested a late check out for 1 room and was refused . We were told to pay Rm 100 per hour for 3 hours from 12-3. Most people checked out between 12-1 pm . I’m sure most hotels do not charge the extra hour . At least if they charge from 1-3 it’s reasonable. Kind gestures will have return clients .
