The beach is great

We arrived 2.5 hours early and were told the room was being cleaned at that time and we would be called when they were done cleaning. Two hours later they were still "cleaning". At 3:01 pm our room was ready after I inquired again. So no early check in?

Best of all I loved our room and the fact that it was quiet and facing the sea. To be honest I did not particularly care for the food. For example I ordered a crispy catfish salad. There was nothing crispy about it nor did it even taste like the Thai version. My husband ordered meat and it was stringy and tough. Your massage place was one of the best features with very professional therapists. All in all we will plan to return but do please improve the standard of your food.

Oceanica Resort truly excelled as a nature and forest-like retreat. The property is surrounded by a lush garden lined with coconut trees, which created a beautiful atmosphere, especially at night when the lights were absolutely fabulous. The sand is pristine and comparable to Boracay, making for a wonderful beach experience, even with the presence of some coral. Additionally, we were delighted by the lots of freebies that were provided.A special shout-out goes to staff member Sevie. He was genuinely thoughtful; he noticed our child was uncomfortable with the heat during breakfast and, without us asking, immediately provided us with a fan. This level of attentiveness was wonderful. The room and bathroom were average in size and perfectly comfortable for our stay.

We had a few minor critiques. First, the breakfast buffet was disappointing as the choices were not that many compared to other resorts. Furthermore, the service was slow when we had dinner by the beach. This slightly dampened what was otherwise a perfect beachfront dining experience.

The best room we had in the Philippines! Huge bed, everything was clean and comfortable. We got a bottle of wine, snacks and water for free.The resort is beautiful! The private beach is very nice. you can get snorkels and kayak for free. It is 10 minutes from Alona center - which for us was very good because you have quite and you can use grab at any time of the day to get to the center. Very friendly staff.

The tours/dives providers working with the hotel are horrible!! Do not book through them. Pricy, bad arranged, the trip to Balicasag island was one of the worst trips we had in the Philippines. Just avoid it.

Beach need more cleaning it's dirty pool

Breakfast food sucks, very few choices,bacon need to cook more. You have so many flies in the reataurant which i dont mind but pls at least cover your utensils such us fork,spoon knife.shower bad smell sinks drain bed sucks water bottles hard to open. I will never stay here again. They let us run out of soap.

The beach is perfect.Welcome drinks and coconut candy were nice.There are free things to use such as paddleboards and kayaks.Food isnt bad.Pool is nice.Staff isn’t so bad as what social media reviews are saying.Breakfast buffet was good :)

The rooms are old.still expensive but with less “classy touch” compared to how it was before it changed names.

I like the beach, the rooms and the seafood restaurant.

I actually don’t like the liquid hand soap used in the toilets inside the restaurant. It looks and feels like a dishing washing liquid. The toilets inside the restaurants are also too small and tight.

I loved the flow of the property. The entrance to the pools and the access of the beach as well as the rooms flowed really well. Also, I loved how my room was basically beach access.

I thought maybe there could be a few more lights, especially on the walkways to the villas. However, that might change aesthetic of the place.

- Activities were very pricey - Shower could be improved

We stayed at Panglao Villa Room 400. It had a living room, kitchen, and dining room. The location which faces the beach front and the spacious Villa were great. Also, the private jacuzzi was an added feature.

The constant foot traffic of the beach goers going to the patio while we are in the living room, taking selfies was a nuisance. Furthermore, the outside furniture that were reserved for our room was also being used by the passersby and when security is available then they are told to leave-it was a sight to see especially when some refuse to move. On our third day, a male staff by the entrance stopped us and asked which room are we staying…funny thing is that this should be addressed on the first day!

The room was excellent and very clean. My kids really enjoyed the beach, which was also well-maintained and pleasantly uncrowded.

When we arrived, early check-in was not allowed, and there was no air-conditioned waiting area, which made it uncomfortable due to the heat outside. I did notice some foreign guests being checked in early without any issue - hopefully, this was just a coincidence and not a matter of prioritizing foreigners over local guests, especially since we also paid for our room. Also, the package tours offered by the hotel were a bit overpriced compared to other booking options available elsewhere but I guess this is understandable.

I liked the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful beachfront. The pools are also kid-friendly and warm. We will definitely go back for a third time!
