    Pros +

    • The rooms were fantastic (except a poor shower with little water and only one temperature). The small beach and adjacent pool was perfect.
    • We loved the 3 pools but mostly the Private beach. The resort was fairly quiet during the day so plenty of opportunity to enjoy the pools and beach which were never crowded. The room was super comfortable and the tv was smart so we could connect Netflix for films. The staff were great and very friendly. Seems a lot of the resort was hit bad by the Typhoon and they are rebuilding. They deserve credit for making our stay so comfortable.
    • Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Food was not too bad, service was great, staff were very friendly.

    Cons -

    • The breakfast was really bad. Why have such a bad breakfast at such a nice resort. When they asked if I was going to eat at the restaurant for lunch, I just laughed. The wait times at reception was too long. When I was checking in, it took me 20 minutes. There were 5 fans but just one pointed at the receptionist. I was dripping in sweat when I finally checked in. Not a good start. The staff like to people watch but not attentive when they need to be (breakfast)
    • I’d say the food wasn’t the best. The breakfast wasnt too bad but the evening meals weren’t the best. We went up the road to the old plantation which is only 10mins drive.
    • The restaurant is very hot during the day. The restaurant doesn’t have most items in the menu. The massage area is open.

There are many swimming pools in the resort, and there is a beach right in front of the accommodation. I think it is the best resort facility, and the staff is very friendly.

    Private and secluded

The restaurant is very hot during the day. The restaurant doesn’t have most items in the menu. The massage area is open.

The view at the hotel was amazing. We had a seaview upstairs room and the view across the pool and out to sea was beautiful. The pool and jacuzzi was very nice and a great temperature. The room was spacious, clean and the air con was very cold. The shower was strong with good temperature and the bathroom essentials were also good. Fresh bedding and plenty of towels were available and room keeping was good. The fridge was good. We were able to snorkel using equipment provided and saw lots of fish just off the private beach which was also nice.

The road to the property wasn't great - you'd think they would have a better road leading up to such a nice hotel. If you're on a scooter you need to be careful. There were only 5 rooms taken when we were there and loads of staff but sometimes it took quite a while for them to bring you drinks and food. Our toilet leaked at one point but was fixed very quickly. Just be aware that this property can be very quiet, if you're looking for a more lively atmosphere then you might want to look elsewhere. However, it felt like our own private resort which we quite enjoyed.

Large, attractive, very clean modern bedroom and bathroom with good facilities and sea view. The small balcony was nice and also useful for drying swimwear and towels. The infinity pool and jacuzzi overlooking the ocean were fantastic. The gardens are attractive and well maintained. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Some serious rethinking needs to be done about the food and restaurant. The main menu is almost exclusively Filipino cuisine and whilst it is cooked well is not to everyone's taste. There is a very limited choice of international food (think pizzas, burgers, spaghetti bolognese!) which is not cooked well; e.g. uncooked dough in pizzas; bland and unseasoned sauces. Apart from the delicious fresh fruit, breakfasts were a big disappointment...cheap frozen sweet Filipino hotdogs/ham the only traditional breakfast meat option available for four day stay. Cheap sliced bread; powdered 'fruit' juices and the policy of serving breakfast as a 'buffet', so most of the food had been sitting around for a few hours, meant the 'breakfast experience' was an exercise in refuelling rather than enjoyable! The uncomfortable wooden chairs in the restaurant don't help either. Found another resort a few kms away, after the first night, for our evening meals.

They have live grilled area where you can able to order and freshly cooked

The location is very far and not accessible to nearby markets or transportation

This pretty nice and very quiet place. Rooms are in good conditions. The hotel has its own small beach and several pools, so you may stay there and enjoy Bohol. But it is much better to take a scooter and discover some nearby locations. The stuff helped to rent a scooter and it was delivered right to the hotel.

The only difficulty is to get rich there from Tagbilaran pier in the evening. If you come after 9 p.m it would be not so easy to get the car there. Or you should just book the shuttle before.

    Clean room and nice amenities.

It is difficult to reach out to them especially when it comes to reservation changes. I checked with their reservation regarding 1 room cancellation because my brother in law cannot make it. They've made verbal communication that it is okay and assured us that the room will not be charged but no email has been sent to confirm. now, somebody is telling me that booking.com has charged them for the room. Isn't there a good communication process between booking.com and this hotel regarding changes and booking considerations?

Beautiful clean rooms and the private beach was amazing. We really enjoyed snorkeling straight In front of Parklane. The staff were very friendly and always smiling.

The restaurant lacked atmosphere (there was no music playing) and they were unable to cook many items from the menu. The breakfast was also always cold and the juices were not fresh. There were also limited wine and vegetarian options.

Friendly staff.Good ocean view from the rooms on 1st floor.Nice small beach with snorkeling just outside.

At first we didn’t get the rooms with ocean view we had paid for.We got new rooms with ocean view but no hot water. One room had plumbing problems, so we were later moved to 1st floor where we were very close to the pool and had people walking onto our terrace.Food is cheap but seriously needs improvement. We had our lunches and dinners at other resorts. We asked the hotel several times to provide transportation. Unfortunately when we checked out they said the prices we had paid for the first two trips which we paid in cash had been discounted and wanted twice the price for all the following transports.Staff did their best but the manager was totally absent.
