- It has the best view from the restaurant that I've ever visited. The room is nice, very clean, spacious, bed has mosquito net and there are furnitures in the room as well as out on the terrace.
- Great service, great room, great food, great beach!
- The view of the beach is absolutely beautiful. More stunning than the pictures shown. It is very private and quiet. The staffs are amazing and very welcoming. Food is good. The only thing that I would like to point out is the big pile of sand mixed with garbage accumulated on the side of the property. not very nice to look at. And as you go further down the beach there are more trash being thrown maybe by locals or tourists and just being left there.I hope people will respect this beautiful beach and I also hope there will be better waste management as well.
Cons -
- I think the beach area should be cleaned by property owners. It would have been nicer to walk on if it's constantly cleaned.
- Nothing, everything was exceptional.
- Small resort with only a few rooms does certainly not deserve 3 stars, facilities and furniture are old or broken , property is not well’ maintained The beach was muddy not inviting for a swim

Passable

It is a beautiful resort with an amazing view, pool and beach (practically private beach)
The food of the restaurant was not very good
Everything was absolutely perfect - location on the white sand beach, spotless room and bathroom, wonderful staff and good food. Excellent drinks! And for those, who are planning a holiday in Anda next year, you will have a chance to stay in a brand new rooms - the hotel is being extended!
The only, small suggestion - in a country with such delicious fruit, that would be nice if juices served for breakfast would be fresh, instead instant... But it's not really big deal.
Location!! Very friendly staff.! Special compliments to Rian, who showed sincere interest, speaks English very well and is very capable.
We heard the sentence ‘sorry we do not have..’ often (San Miguel Pilsen, coca cola, beef, fish, snorkel equipment, blender does not work…..). That’s not what you expect at such a resort.
The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast offered a good range of choices, Filipino and Western. The new year’s gala dinner was well thought through with a DJ, games, band and a dance troupe.
Housekeeping was hit or miss. We were 3 people registered in the room and they kept on providing two towels only, even after asking for three towels several times. We stayed in the hotel for 6 days so it should have been noted.
LocationInfinity poolFriendly team Food was good overall
Room is rather dated and doesn’t have a resort feel matching the location and surrounding beauty. It needs a soft refurbishment at least. Outdoor furniture look very “cheap”and don’t invite to relax in front of the room. Having said that it was still comfortable and clean.
We had a lovely stay at Anda White Beach Resort. The hotel is simple but very cozy. It has a nice pool and direct access to the stunning white beach. The room is spacious and clean. Food menu isn’t extensive but everything was well cooked and delicious. We tried a few local dishes and they didn’t disappoint. The Tortang talong and the banana turrón are a must try! Finally, the staff was superb. They are always friendly and polite and they take care that you have everything you need.
Old bathroom sewage is a bit smelly.
Great location.
The rooms were outdated and the food wasn’t cooked through which led to food poisoning.
The first impression is the property lacks maintenance. The buildings and the area needs defenitely renovation. However, The rooms inside are fine. The restaurant, the foods and the staff are great. The swimmingpool is being well maintained. (daily cleaning) as well as the beach. So actually it's a perfect place to stay with a stunning view from your balcony. to the sunset.
The buidings and area needs defenitely renovation.
Great resort and great food.
Swimming in the ocean is not possible due to sea urchins and the sea is very shallow but it's 10min from a great beach you can snorkel and see lots of fish.
We stayed 4 nights in a beach view cottage and 3 in the beach front cottage, so I will review each separately during this reviewWe arrived after a long journey from the UK and a 2.5 hour drive from the ferry very tired, but we were greeted by such friendly staff, a fresh coconut juice and a cold flannel, so we instantly felt refreshed and and so welcome. The view as you walk through the restaurant to the pool area, with the white sand, blue sea and palm trees is just beautiful - feels like walking into paradise. Beng able to see amazing sunsets to the right of the beach and sunrise to the left, was incredible.Food was very tasty, there was good choice and it was very reasonable, considering you were in a resort. It is a small and intimate resort and rooms are large, clean with good shower and aircon. The wifi system works well in the room, restaurant & pool area.We stayed in a beach view room for the first 4 days as that was all that was available. They were absolutely fine and very similar in style to the beach front ones, just set back a bit further, so you can see the sea from outside, but not hear the waves and watch the view from inside the room.Beach front rooms weren’t available immediately, so we changed halfway through our stay - well worth it. These beach front rooms have full glass sliding doors so you have a full sea view even from inside the room and can hear the waves lapping on the sand. There are a few other things minor touches in the beach front rooms that aren’t in the ones further back, so if you can, it’s worth the extra money, we’ll, we thought so anyway.Anda as an area is very quiet and resort based, last orders in the restaurant is at 9pm, so if you’re looking for a party atmosphere, this isn’t the place, you’d be better off at Alona Beach in Panglao!!There is however a town, maybe 25/30 mins along the beach, that is very accessible and a tuktuk return is only php150 each way.
I wouldn’t go as far to say there was anything we didn’t like about the property, but there were a few really minor negatives that didn’t impact our stay, but are worth mentioning. There unfortunately is no longer a wooden balustrade outside the beach view rooms to dry clothes. The photos on Booking.com show them, but the 4 rooms to the left of the restaurant no longer have them. We asked for a clothes dryer of some kind, but unfortunately the best they could do was fix a broom handle to a tree!!We were diving, so having somewhere to dry towels and swimsuits would have been very useful. There is building work going on next door, which has been ongoing for some time and will continue to be ongoing for a good many months. It think it’s going to be annoying when you first arrive, but because it is constant, you kind of block it out after a while and we found it didn’t interfere with our enjoyment too much at all.The resort is beginning to look a little tired when you look closely and will need some TLC in the future. At the moment the resort is so beautiful these things seem quaint, but in a while some work may be needed - the steps leading down to the beach for example. This is me being very picky - as I said at the beginning, none of these things lessened our enjoyment of this wonderful little slice of paradise - we loved our time at Anda White Beach Resort.
The staff are amazing, the view and location is great, we loved the food and the pool thank you
Construction noise from next door was a bit much at times, it was 2.5 hour drive from Airport or ferry but was a pleasant trip we included tours on the way all arranged through Anda White beach resort..
View, pool, restaurant staff
Rubbish on the beach close to resort. Resort pretty tired needs a reno.
The location was fantastic and very peaceful.Having the diving facilities, Anda Diving, just down the road made it perfect!!We went diving every day and so many turtles, beautiful fish and coral. The hotel tried to be helpful any time. They even helpedl in arranging our direct transfer back to Panglao Island when we checked out, with their transport. We will definitely come back!!Special thanks to Charlene, Dawn, Chris and Ryan for taking such great care of us! Also all of the pool, and cleaning staff
Getting to the resort was smooth. We took a public van from Dao Bus Terminal in Tagbilaran City, which cost 1,200 pesos plus an extra 150 pesos for a direct drop-off. The 2.5-hour scenic drive along the coast was lovely.Anda is peaceful and laid-back, with authentic provincial charm, minimal traffic, and no vendors pushing tours or souvenirs. It was the perfect contrast to the busier spots we had visited.Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly with coconut drinks and cold towels. The check-in was quick and efficient. Our sea-facing room offered stunning views of the ocean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room had ample storage, power outlets, a minibar, and tea/coffee-making facilities. The bathroom was spacious with a shower, toilet, and bidet, and the balcony was a great place to enjoy morning coffee or sunset views. The restaurant offered simple but delicious food with a mix of Filipino and Western options. We tried pancit, chop suey, calamari, chicken in mushroom sauce, and fish in coconut sauce. The bar was well-stocked with cocktails, gin, rum, and more. The fruit was always fresh, and we never had a bad meal. Ryan, a staff member, recommended a freshly caught fish that was excellent—no bones, meaty, and similar to cod. Lamiiii!Anda town is a 20-30 minute walk along the beach, where you'll find grocery stores, a food court, and a market with local treats. Tricycle rides to town cost around 150 pesos, and the drivers were fair and friendly.I chose this resort for an intimate setting to propose to my girlfriend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect—she said yes! The owner later surprised us with a beautifully decorated table for dinner to celebrate our engagement, complete with rose petals, candles, and our favourite song.Special thanks to Ryan for his hospitality and for recommending a remedy for my cold. The staff truly made us feel like family, and we can’t wait to return for our anniversary.
There isn’t much negative to say, but there are a few things to be aware of. The room we stayed in had wardrobe units and cupboard doors that were clearly antique. While they looked charming, they were a bit tired—creaking and not opening or closing easily. The vintage look was nice, but the functionality could be improved. We also noticed a lot of ants in the bathroom. This is something to expect when staying in a provincial area, and it didn’t bother us too much, especially since we’ve stayed in similar accommodations in places like Southern Leyte. However, if you’re only used to city hotels or 4-5 star resorts, it might come as a surprise. We initially had an issue with the hot water in the shower, but once we reported it, the staff had it fixed by the time we finished breakfast. The only other small issue was that the shower head in our bathroom didn’t tilt down, so we had to hold it while showering or balance it in a specific way. When walking along the beach, beware of flies—you’ll want to apply insect repellent, especially on your legs, as you can get bitten. Also, as you wade further into the water, the sand takes on a muddy texture, and you might sink a little. It’s not a major problem but something to be aware of. We were also cautious about wading too far into areas with seaweed due to the presence of sea urchins. While they’re delicious, stepping on one could give you a nasty sting!Overall, none of these issues were major and most are things that are either normal in a rural setting or beyond the control of the hotel and staff.
The staff and management, the entire team's are amazing. A real essence of traditional Filipino hospitality - warm, generosity and welcoming spirit. They have provided us the utmost care in our entire stay.. Resort activities are fantastic considering the size of the resort, you have a choice of horse riding across the white sand beach to unlimited water sports like snorkeling and kayaking are just a step away! I must not forget to mention, the mesmerising view from the infinite pool, Oh!!!! Lala!!! Highly recommended!!!
Nothing!
The staff was amazing and the bungalow I stayed in was beautiful. This place had a very personal touch and I will remember it in my top travel destinations of all time. I was sad leaving!! The Resturant and food really surprised me well above my expectations!!
Out of the way location and dirt road getting to it.
