Pros +
- Uniquely modern, centrally located in Lijiang ancient town. Staff were incredibly helpful.
- Very nice modern and spacious room. Good location and attentive staff.
- It has been a wonderful stay at Indigo Lijiang. The reception staff, Mr. Wang (Wang Wei) has been extremely helpful during my stay. I will definitely come back for his excellent customer service.
Cons -
- Central aircon did not allow us to adjust the temperature (only heating function available) which resulted in the room being warm and stuffy. That said, staff were prompt to address the issue, delivered an extra standing fan which made it a lot more bearable.
- The bathroom had a cigarette smell
- The food was not good at all, its arrived super cold, taste was bad and the tom yum soup was really bad and nasty. No sound proof you may hear some noisy guest around you.

I encounter some issues with my room TV & phone. The front desk Manager Joanne was extremely helpful and everything were solved. Hotel staffs are all very polite and helpful which makes our stay very pleasant.
The hotel is located just where the old city starts so a great point to explore Lijiang by foot. Room is very spacious and comfortable. The amenities were great and the free water bottles were much appreciated.

Breakfast was good..
Seems like the pandemic has set back communication skills... Great service but quite limited english! Time to get things back on track if they want to grow foreign tourism.
Breakfast Location Staff
Super good location for old Town and really on a high international standard.
No gym available due to maintenance
The breakfast was great - a good selection of both Chinese and Western options available. The room was very comfy and spacious. The hotel is on the edge of the ancient city which makes it very convenient.
There was a lot of traffic around the ancient city so travelling to various dinner spots took a bit of time.
very attractive design full of nooks and crannies
the tv was a good brand but a little old and had no capacity for Apple play so we couldn’t stream a movie we wanted to finish.
I have travelling in China for about a month. The indigo is the nicest hotel where I stayed.
Breakfast at the intercontinental was good and the view was superb
Perfect stay for Lijiang! Nice hotel and lively staff!
