Cabana Lipe Beach Resort

The proximity of the room to the beach and view from our patio was terrific. The entire staff was very welcoming and communication was easy both before arrival and during our stay. The breakfast is delivered to the room at convenient time, which is great

The street approach to the hotel is hidden and a bit confusing. There are limited beach loungers that other guests would put towels on but never use, which was extremely frustrating/entitled. There is also a strange smell when we sat in the patio.

Don’t know - when we arrived we checked in, paid and then were told our rooms toilet did not work so we were sent to another resort!

A lot of things to improve, not sure if it’s good value for money

This side of the island too many boats on the beach. Hotel didn’t meet us at ferry as promised.Poor breakfast

The road down to the hotel was very local to koh lipa. But we felt safe and the people always greeted us. But it was very untidy. But that's typical asia. Which we love.

We initially booked only 3 nights at the hotel, but ended up extending our stay to a full week because we liked it so much.One of the highlights was the breakfast service — it’s delivered right to your balcony! You choose your preferred breakfast the day before, with options including both American and Asian styles. It’s completely free, as the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant.The room was very cozy and clean. There were no insects, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and all the necessary amenities were provided. Housekeeping was done daily. The view was beautiful, and the beach is right outside the hotel entrance.Everything you need — cafes, restaurants, shops — is within walking distance. Getting around the island is easy as the hotel offers taxi rides to any destination for just 50 baht per person. They also provide umbrellas in case of rain. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

A small downside was the snorkeling tour we booked. We had agreed to meet downstairs at 9:30 AM, but we got a call at 9:00 AM asking us to come down immediately. We reminded them of the original time, and they agreed — but then called again 15 minutes later saying we had to leave because the group was waiting. The tour also ended 1.5 hours early — at 2:00 PM instead of 3:30 PM — with no explanation for the missing time.Another minor issue was the soundproofing — we could clearly hear our neighbors’ conversations, which wasn’t ideal. Despite these small issues, we were overall very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Honestly such a beautiful sea view and we were right on the beach as we walked out. Breakfast is brought to your room within the time period you choose. The collected us AND dropped us at the our next resort for free. All the staff we interacted were extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommend

A nice hotel but a bit overpriced for what it is. Staff very friendly. A decent breakfast in a big dining room. Bit of a walk down dark alley to the beach. Some decent restaurants etc close by on main road.

Can’t really say anything that didn’t like ticks most boxes with a decent pool etc

Location on the beach is fabulous. Staff were so very happy and smiley and helpful. Loved the free coffee and breakfast was also nice.

The bathroom was very dark and there was only one mirror, positioned in the dark bathroom. I couldn't see to put makeup on. Also there wasn't anywhere to put toiletries etc. It was fine for me on my own but would have been a nightmare if I was sharing with someone else.

Beautiful spot. Breakfast on your balcony. The staff were very kind and helpful. 2 min walk to walking street. My son loved the sweet kitten at the front desk. beautiful place to watch the sun rise.

Great staff with a cute cat called "coconut" at the reception. The room was good and you have the sunrise beach with 5m. Near the main street by walk and everything was great. I want to go back ?

As the hotel is in front of the beach, you might hear the longtail boats engines in the morning. It doesn't bother a lot, but you can hear it.

The location is convenient and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Water pressure was OK and also there was proper warm water in the shower.

We had a sea view room on the ground floor that meant that everyone was sitting right in front of our balcony for sunrise and we heard them talking all the time and also there are a lot of long tail boats right there and it smells like gasoline and very loud (not loud at night though, just in the morning and daytime) The breakfast is not great. The furniture is kind of old and would need replacement in some cases.

Wonderful staff.Got free transfer from the pier and even free transfer to our next hotel !Nice bed.Nice bathroom.Beautiful beach, close to restaurants.And not far from walking street.And especially Nice if you want it a little more quiet.

It is expensive, but koh lipe is a bit pricey, and compared to other hotel in this pricerange on koh lipe, Cabana defiently won !

Breakfast is limited, and not including water. Very few sunbeds

Breakfast was delivered to our room at our chosen time & was delicious.Beach was very near & it was lovely to swim in the sea.Room was ample size & very clean with hot running water to shower.

The open design of the balcony on the upper floor would be dangerous for young children, with many large openings & we had to be mindful when our grandson was with us. Thankfully I did not see any other children at that level.

The staff was exceptional. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast served at your room was a nice touch. Although on the windy side of the island provided some excellent snorkeling and clear water. More people than we expected but that was the trend throughout the island. Everything was exactly as expected. The room was spacious, in the cafe restaurant the food was great from breakfast to diner with a very cosy atmosphere ,the staff is really helpfull and polite. The location is just perfect.I will recommend this resort for those who like the boutique hotel style.

I like everything. A plus would be hot water in the shower and more lights in the bedroom.
