Idyllic Concept Resort

Excellent location 10 minute walk to town, the beach area is by far the best. We loved that the sun beds on the beach provided excellent shade, the guys worked really hard to have all the sun beds and umbrellas out early and were always on hand, they were great.Really good breakfast, enough choice and the freshly cooked eggs were very good. Room is spacious and clean with a comfortable bed.All the staff were fantastic, excellent gym the overall feel of the hotel is relaxed, luxurious and tranquil.

The bar was a bit too pricey compared to other resorts on the island.

Location and service.

The bathroom was not fully enclosed. Mosquitoes were everywhere so you had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times.

The room and facilities were nice and breakfast (egg benedict) also yummy

Beautiful reef in front of the resort. Beautiful rooms, pool and views.Great gym and very good breakfast.

Steps up and down to the room, slippery when it rains.

Beautiful property with great facilities. The food at the restaurant was good as was the Buffet breakfast.

Some of the steps inside and outside the hotel are badly designed so are trip hazards. I would recommend it for an infirm person.

Breakfast options are quite strange..and stuff is usually tired at the end of the day.

The staff were amazing! Super amenities. Location was brilliant and a quick ride to walking street. Food was wonderful! If you didn’t want to Leave the resort you wouldn’t need to.

Being charged for milk in the room for a cup of coffee

The hotel is beautiful, with a charming decor and two excellent pools. Our room was clean and full of thoughtful touches—like a straw beach bag and hats for us to use, which added a lovely touch. The front desk staff, however, could have been more welcoming and helpful. In contrast, the restaurant staff were truly kind and attentive, making our dining experiences very pleasant. The breakfast was good, though not particularly remarkable, but the à la carte menu for other meals was excellent—everything we ordered was delicious. On the beach, there were plenty of comfortable sunbeds with umbrellas, which we really appreciated. Overall, a very comfortable stay in a stunning setting.

After staying at various hotels in East Asia, Idyllic Concept was by far the best. The beach was powdery white sand, sea was clear and blue. Local restaurants and bars were plentiful and excellent.The Idyllic Hotel provided fantastic facilities, a full and varied breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms and the staff were simply outstanding.The Beach team were headed by the very professional lady called On. She was cheerful, friendly and extremely efficient. Her team was incredibly dedicated and were always mega helpful, Tam, Yaseen and Chareef were superb.The Restaurant team was consistently on the ball and provided terrific customer service. This was undoubtedly due to a "Force of Nature," a lovely lady called Nan. She lead from the front and was a wonderful influence on her very able team.The hotel provided great transportation by way of shuttle to / from Walking Street. Min was so polite and friendly as was Pong.The hotel had a happy hour and the staff were top notch, particularly a young man called Sky. Nothing was too much trouble for him.Lastly, the Reception staff were always so kind and helpful. However, the very best customer service came from a gentleman called Lai. He was exceptional.The cleaning staff and gardeners were amazing, so dedicated they made the hotel beautiful.

Steps down to the beach and restaurants, sunbeds too close together

Modern and stylish interior, nice tropical garden, well pressured shower, nice beach and cool small cafe. Superb clean and good breakfast. Facilities in the room are well equipped and of a high standard.

Separation of dry and wet zones in the bathroom is not quite good. There is some leaking water from the showering box. The restaurant and services are pretty pricey.

The sand quality was maybe not as good as other beach areas of the resort and Pattaya beach

The food and the rooms. The people were wonderful. Nice entertainment in the evenings . Free shuttle to walking street.

The stairs! If you have children or a physical limitation, do not choose this property. The whole area needs trash bins on the beach.

Leves! Loved! Loved! Clean and spacious room with comfortable bed! The most beautiful beach in the island! Breakfast was very good. Swimming pools were fantastic! And always enough sun-beds and umbrellas available. They offer plenty of mineral water to guests, which is great. Super recommend it!

The cocktails in the hotel bar were expensive and weren’t good (and we tried a few!)The water (shower + taps) have a funny smell, but I guess ir is an island issue.

I very rarely write reviews. We stayed in the Deluxe Garden View Room. This really should be downgraded to Standard Room. The Location on Sunrise beach was fantastic and the hotel itself is right on the beach (the quieter beach on Lipe). However our room was over the Reception with a view of the Courtyard / Lobby. The Room was also pretty basic in terms of what was on offer. No coffee machine, no wine glasses. Bathroom flooded everyday due to the shower/glass door leaking. In comparison with the other hotels on the Island that we stayed in this hotel was below there standard.

Right on the beach

Had swim up room you couldn’t actually swim up to easily. The was an awful smell in the room on arrival and the room was full of mosquitoes every night

Customer service was good. I had food poisoning and staff helped by providing medicine.

The water had a weird smell. We didn’t feel that the location was clean. I was disappointed with cleanliness of the rooms. The room were decent but lots of rusty items and toilet had a weird smell. I would expect to have a lot more quality for the amount that is being charged. But it’s rather disappointing.

The decor didn't align with the levels of cleanliness, which were generally not that high. Hotel looks nice but water from shower has a film of scum. There is smearing remaining after the room has been cleaned. Staff walk really smelly bin bags through the hotel. Our room near middle pool had an entrance to the rear, which overlooked a staff dumping ground.Staff friendliness was a bit of a mixed bag - staff were generally polite but genuine warmth and interest in customer experience didn't shine through. Hard to put my finger on this exactly but a few examples of abruptness and lack of follow through. Just to be clear, there were no examples of poor service but given that so many reviews talk about how wonderful the staff were it just wasn't my experience of staff going the extra mile. In fact my experience was more of a staff team going through the motions.

Spectacular views and beautiful clean beach. Also short walk to a walking street . Enough sunbeds for everyone and great selection for a breakfast ( noodles, Thai , salads bar and fresh roti every day ) . Everything was very fresh and healthy. Also wonderful surprise waiting into a room for my birthday and that was amazing touch from hotel team . Nice modern specious comfortable room
